I needed a windshield replacement for my 2026 Nissan Frontier. I fell victim to the marketing campaign of a national chain that rhymes with "skate fright". Called around for a new windshield Matt's auto was the best deal, on top of that he was very accommodating in regards to my schedule. He was very responsive to me calling him and setting up an appointment. Once at the appointment they gave me tips on how to tell if a windshield is done correctly. These guys were at my place twice now. The first time, they removed both front and rear windshields, found some areas that needed repaired and left. The second time they installed my windshield. In general, the work they did was good. They were personable and easy to work with too. For these reasons, I give them 2 out of 5 stars. Would have been much higher, but after the first rainfall, I found the windshield leaked. I recently reupholstered my '66 Mustang and can't have water getting into the interior/floorboards. I called them as soon as I found out it leaked, also just sent an e-mail to them. It has been about a month now and still no response. read more

Great price, but there was a problem after installation. There was adhesive of some sort left on the paint by the windshield. I called Matt just to inquire about a way to fix the issue. I didn't ask for any type of refund or any type of compensation, just suggestions on what to do. If there was possibly something I could go buy myself to get it off. He got very defensive, denied responsibility (which is false, as I've taken the car to a body shop and confirmed that the issue was indeed from windshield adhesive), and gave me a laughable excuse about it not being residue, but instead paint that wore off in those spots. Mind you, this excuse was given over the phone without him even seeing it in person. Paint wearing off was not the issue as it was obviously something laying on top of the paint and in the shape of fingerprint smudges. Nonetheless he said he would come by to attempt to remedy the problem. It wasn't an emergency so it didn't need to be right away, but I never heard from him again. Busy or not, you finish a job from start to finish and address any issues before continuing to accept new appointments. Nice guy, but I was taken aback by how defensive he got when I simply asked if there was a solvent that could remove the residue. Not the end of the world as I understand that things & accidents happen, but his response, or lack thereof, really made an impression. We've used his service twice in the last year (no issues the first time), but will not again. read more
