I decided to use YCS for the sole fact that a few friends and the insurance company talked highly of them, the customer service was good, kept in communication at all times and were updating me along the way. I was told by Tony that they'd take good care of my truck and fix it. After carefully looking it over I'm starting to see little details that weren't taking care of or not fixed properly. My headlight bracket has a crack (it's a new unit that was replaced by them), the front driver panel has a bigger gap then the front passenger, the truck is covered in dust inside, the whole driver side is missing the striping, and the truck pulls to the left which is an alignment issue that I requested they check since it was a head on collision and after the alignment was off. I'm not sure how it passed the final inspection, or who approved it. The craftsmanship seems to be subpar seeing as the details of the job were missed. I put full faith and trust into YCS to "FIX" my truck and I get it back like this. I know sometimes small details get missed, but this just seems like sloppy work and no attention to detail. Over all I'm disappointed in the work. Edit** They gave me a loaner truck until the work was corrected and completed, which took about 2 weeks. I did my own final inspection to find a plastic pry tool under my hood, even after asking that they ensure nothing is missed they still found a way to leave me a little surprise that could've messed my engine up. I'm assuming quality assurance is not their forte, even after they had to fix mistakes that shouldn't have been missed in the first place. read more

I took my car (2021 Kia k5 gt wolf gray) in a couple weeks ago for a bumper repaint as someone hit my parked car at the gas station. They returned the car to me and the bumper was a completely different color. They took it back and repainted it and supplied me a rental, when I picked it up yesterday the back of the bumper on one side is still a different color. I understand it is a new color and hard to match but I am in awe that they have returned my car twice knowing it is not right. They also removed my VA dealer tag and put my old Pa tag on from my old car. (This tag was in my trunk in the cargo net so I'm not sure why they did that) On another note, the staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

I dropped my car off at York Collision on 7/8/2020 for some minor repairs. From the beginning of my experience with them to the time I picked up my motor vehicle, their body work and Customer Service was outstanding. They had my car for about nine days and during that time, they sent me (text message) an update of the progress of their repair work about every two days. When I picked my car up, I discovered that my "Smart Remote" was not working for my driver's door. I contacted them and they immediately corrected that situation while I waited...approximately 10 minutes. I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis and had damage to the hood, bumper and passenger side headlight. Their "estimator" took pictures with a camera so old that the pictures were pixelated. So my insurance company couldn't see the headlight damage and removed it from the estimate. So I had to take pictures myself and send them to get it put back on. Meanwhile, no effort on the part of York Collision to help resolve this. I bought my car used and the trim was black, which is different from most other Genesis models I've seen. So I asked if the new grill and hood emblem would be black also. They said they wouldn't know until they got the part. Once again, absolutely no effort. I asked weeks before I took my car there. I asked the Monday morning that I took my car in and called the next day asking about the part colors. The receptionist put notes on the paperwork about it. But NOBODY bothered to call me until Friday at 3:30 to tell me that the grill and hood emblem were silver, not black! By this time, it was already disassembled and now waiting. They finally told me that the grill and hood emblem were vinyl wrapped. They offered absolutely no assistance helping me to find a place that could wrap the new part. Not any remorse or apology for waiting so long to even look at the new parts. So now, I had to scramble to find out about getting the grill wrapped. They could have at least looked at it when the part arrived and called the dealer to ask about their options. I had to do all that! I did find the place that did the wrap originally and I'll have to handle all the details myself now. Thanks for absolutely nothing! My car took over a month to fix mostly cosmetic work. Not to mention I just came back from a different collision to center to have fixed what York collision did. They left masking tap on my wheel wheel and couldn't even properly install my headlight. Unbelievable. Had to call and call to ask when it would be finished. I dropped my truck off for some cosmetic repairs and some lite mechanical work due to a deer strike fast forward 3 weeks my truck is still not 100% fixed the cosmetic repairs are fantastic everything looks great but the truck had to go back into the shop for another week to get repaired I got a call yesterday and I picked it up and took it for a test drive and wouldn't you know it's still not fixed I swear there technicians dont test drive the vehicles after they work on them they just guess the part they replaced fixed the problem read more

DONT take your vehicle here. I used them through Geico and wanted to give a local shop a try. First glance, shop is awesome. Tracy is great by the way with customer service. Took my vehicle in for some minor collision work to the passenger side front. I had a few scrapes from where someone hit me in a parking lot. York fixed the bumper, side, and painted. Got my truck back it looked awesome. Went to drive off and my sonar system wasn't hooked back up to the front bumper. INCONVENIENCE. Of course, no technicians left for the day so I had to leave it at the shop over the weekend after they had already had it for 4 days. Come back Monday after they tell me it's ready for pickup...I start my truck and now my led lights aren't working. I ask Tony (service manager) about it and he has no clue. He says that the lights are getting power but don't know why they are not working. PISSED!! So I'm told they would have to get back to me after they find another set of led lights to replace the ones that are on my truck and have me come BACK AGAIN for the 3rd time to fix it. So 2 days later I look at the front of my truck and the passenger side fog light is not even in the new bumper. WTF?!?! After looking, the light was hanging inside the bumper, and did not look like it was ever attached to the housing inside the bumper. I call York AGAIN and now speak to one of the big guys Jeff who is now handling the issue and I am still waiting for everything to get fixed. Then today...my USB port is not working. Not sure if this is due to the electrical stuff York fooled with that is not working, but I NEVER had this issue before taking my truck there. I would not recommend them AT ALL. read more
