She tried to gaslight me into telling me I hit something which we were looking at the same bumper and I hit nothing! She paid me $300 to go away. What small business owner does that?? unless they did something wrong? I expected her just to fix your mistake since my my front bumper was covered in spiderweb, cracks and flaking after just 2 1/2 months. She tried gaslighting me telling me I had hit something even though it was obvious that no such thing happened. I will be getting the remainder of my money from Small Claims Court. Three commercial auto body shops confirmed that it was for workmanship and poor materials that were the only way I would end up with the cracks you're seeing these pictures. So don't let the superficial fool you into believing you're getting a great deal or a good work because you're not it's worth the extra couple hundred dollars to have a professional fix your car. If I could leave less than one star I would. I was warned that she might say the following, and she said them all: * "That's normal settling" * "Plastic bumpers do that" * "Stone chips caused it" * "You must have hit somethin Advice: stay far far away. Staff - Staff is prompt and friendly. I definitely appreciated Monica, she's super friendly, professional, and easygoing. Service - They actually finished my car earlier than expected and did an amazing job. I actually returned my rental the same day because they were done early (FYI I do NOT recommend the Enterprise down the street). The work Diamond Auto Body did for my car looks superb and they even clean and vacuum your car before they return it to you. Covid Measures - The only reason I rate it 4.5/5 because they seem just a little lax on their covid policy. Everyone I spoke to including the inspection person all wore masks, but some folks around the office didn't wear a mask or didn't wear their masks properly. I didn't see temperature checks or sanitizing between customers, but that may be related to staff only and customer car repairs. Also, social distancing was a bit hard with the small space in the office. However, I'll repeat, whomever we dealt with and spoke to always wore masks around us. There is no coincidence that my AC & high beams stopped working after leaving Diamond Body as they were perfectly fine before I came, I never had any issues with my car until I left it in the care of Diamond Autobody. They will not even take accountability for the issue they caused directing me to go elsewhere instead of offering to fix the problems. Obviously somebody here is incompetent & caused wiring issues with my car but they don't want to be held liable, insisting that this issue came from the accident although I was driving the car for 2 weeks after my accident & it didn't have issues. WORST SERVICE!

    If you're reading this it's probably too late for you…read more By now, you may have realized Mark's Auto Body is not a place for regular, working-class people or regular (economy) cars. First, they kept telling me about alternate parts and that they couldn't use alternate parts if I wanted a certified Chevy repair. My ninja, this is a Chevy Cruze, not a Lambo, just make it run so I can reach my full-time job, attend my full-time graduate education, and run my part-time business. I couldn't care less what parts you use. But he just basically said if they didn't use the parts that cost more, they wouldn't be able to stand by their work (no warranty). Not a good look.... But secondly, when you try to say the damages are over $8k for a car only worth $9.5k (2011 Chevy Cruze) instead of totaling the car out... That's what you call a vulture and is mainly the reason why I believe Mark's Auto Body needs to take several seats. Shame on Autonation Chevy (now Ourisman Chevy) for referring me to them when I asked them for a Chevy dealership. Mark's Auto can respond to this review any way they desire, but pictures don't lie. Attached is a photo of my estimate from Mark's Auto (they call it a blueprint) vs a KBB private party valuation. Again, over $8k for a $9.5k (maybe) car. Instead of being honest and totaling it out to begin with, they wanted to go ahead on with the repair. Then they told me multiple times that I would be responsible for paying whatever the at-faults insurance company didn't pay. Yes, I got nervous and scared. I pleaded with them. I told them I'm in school and I work, and I don't have enough money to pay the difference (it was 2k after one adjustment). Especially because the accident wasn't my fault! They were NOT having it, lol. I said OK I don't want my car to be here anymore. Then, I was told it would be hundreds of dollars for them to remove my car from their shop. Also, at this point, I'm looking on Yelp and seeing reviews from people just like me. Lol, I don't know how their google listing rating is so high? Anyway, I called my insurance company, who declared total loss RIGHT AWAY. Both insurance companies (both at-fault's and mine) had nothing but negative things to say about Mark's Auto body practices. Greed, it's all greed. In the end, I didn't have to pay anything and I was relieved to have Nationwide swoop in and rescue me because I promise you these people over at Mark's are like robots with no emotion. Especially, Jason, he is rude when you ask probing questions to get the answers you need. You should probably only come here if you are rich and really, really LOVE your flashy, expensive car. If you have a regular, schmegular economy or commuter car, do NOT come here because they will try to rip you off. Like I said, pictures don't lie.

They told me 4 months to replace and paint everything but then took 6 months because they kept forgetting parts after telling me they had them all. Then while trying to get in touch for updates they wouldn't answer and I'd leave voicemails and emails with no responses. Funny enough when I get my car back the clutch goes out not even 5 minutes into driving it but I'm not blaming them for that. But when I put in the clutch I thought I'd finally be able to drive the car but no somehow my ac isn't working anymore and my brake lights aren't even showing up anymore. I don't know how this even happened but both were working before I took it to this terrible shop. Will never bring any of my cars here again and won't recommend any of my customers here.

    The insurance company made us take our car to another body shop in the area. Two days after we…read moredropped it off, they more than doubled their initial estimate. I left D&J a voicemail at 4:30 on a Friday night to get a second opinion. He called me back within 15 minutes and explained all of my options better than the other shop and the car insurance company combined. Then, on Monday, once I had seen the car and taken pictures, he gave me a $100 solution to what the other company wanted $3300 for (and should have seen in the first estimate) and said another piece they claimed needed to be fixed was structurally sound. He offered to work with me to get secondhand parts to fit within my budget if I chose to salvage the car or drop the insurance claim- and I never paid him a dime for his services! I wish I would have taken our car to D&J instead of going through insurance and the other company. They are honest, communicative and truly have the customer's best interests in mind!

    I used New Bill's Autobody to perform a Maryland Safety Inspection on my vehicle. Sadly, I was not…read moreimpressed with their service, and this is not due to the fact that my car failed the first round of inspection. It is because I was told and then confirmed that I had EITHER 1,000 miles OR 30 days to fix my car and have it reinspected. However, upon my return to DJ's I was told the complete opposite by the same person. Instead of being within the 1,000 mile OR 30 day limit, one actually needed to be between within 1,000 miles AND within 30 days. As a result, I am now expected to take off more time from work to wait the obligatory two hours to have my car reinspected after I was assured that I did not have to follow both rules in order to be within the grace period after a failed inspection. But what really broke the straw was that the certified mechanic started working on another vehicle and I had to wait until he finished even though I had an appointment for that time. I cannot speak to their handiwork when it comes to repairs, but I can say, based off of my own experience, that New Bill's cannot effectively speak to their clients, and have poor customer service. And in the end they have caused a lot of wasted time and money in the long run.
