Kinda pulled these guys out of the air when I was trying to find somebody to tint the windows on my new car. Glad I did - they did a great job while I waited and even changed their own work schedule to keep my waiting as little as possible. Family owned business, which says a lot to me. Competitive prices. And they also run a new pizza shop in Burkettsville. Gonna give that a try soon as well. My only complaint was that as time passed between the time I made the appointment and the day the did the work I got an email every time something got shuffled around in their end. Apparently the computer software they use doesn't respond well to the "do not send email" command. Minor inconvenience once I found out the culprit was poorly designed software. read more

Great quality work. Had a SUV done is it looks awesome Wish they wore a mask when doing paperwork. Additionally the other client when I picked up was not masked - basically making the waiting room office a real risk. But they insisted that a use a new pen and take it with me? It's been made pretty clear that surfaces are not our worry but inside proximity. As someone over 60 I was troubled. Great work - just if you are concerned in these times insist on masks , although that's not going to solve the other customer problem. read more

It has made a drastic improvement of how cool the cabin is after sitting in the sun and being able to drive on hot days, now we're able to rest our arms on the window sills. This was a very family friendly establishment which always puts a customer at ease. I made an appointment and dropped off my car on a Sunday morning and they had it ready in about 2 hours. I got all my windows tinted at 35% (legal limit in MD) as well as a sun-strip at 5%. The price and quality of window tint material was hard to beat compared to other tinting services I researched beforehand. I did notice some light scuff marks on the outside of my car when I got it back and a little water looked like it snuck it as some point because I could see some on the driver and passenger inside door handles/armrest. I wish someone in there was adhering to COVID-19 policies but nobody inside was wearing a mask, not even the child that was playing in the front desk/waiting area that was a little cramped. All in all, a good window tinting service that you can't beat the price anywhere else. read more

This was my first tint job, and Sharyn did a good job educating me on what %age of tint to with, in a risk vs. reward type of way. I thought the 45% legal was too light, so I went with 20% - very happy with the result! Donnie did a great job with the installation, it took roughly an hour and 15 minutes for my 2016 Civic. Waiting area is small but comfy and accommodating with complimentary K Cups and water, as well as some light snacks. Free WiFi and an Apple TV for your perusal were cool bonuses, and Joe & Sharyn's son is an interesting little fella to talk to as well! I sent a text to Frederick Window Tinting and got set up for an immediate appointment for removal, given a quick place to get an inspection, and then an appointment the following day to get re-tinted. I had our 2017 Chevy Volt tinted by Frederick Window Tinting. Their communication is excellent through messages on Yelp and text. It was extremely easy to set up an appointment and drop the car off in the morning, then pick it up in the afternoon. I chose the S9 tint, 5% in the back three windows, 35% in the front two windows, and a sun strip at the top of the windshield. I'm a very picky person, and this tint job was perfect. No bubbles, it adhered to the ceramic dots around the edges of the back window, and the cuts were exact (no daylight showing around edges). I live in California but was visiting family in MD when I decided to have this done. The tint made a huge difference blocking glare at night and reducing heat during the day on the trip back to the west coast. I can't wait to experience the heat reduction in the California summers! Great job done! I liked this shop because they carried the same brand of window tint that I had on my car. It's a family owned business, the couple that owns the place are very friendly and helpful. It's a little expensive but worth it for a job well done. Due to Marylands strict vehicle inspections, I had to get my window tint removed. I have a baby so I liked having tint to block him from the sun and for the aesthetic reasons. My husband is a handy man so he likes to do things himself... he removed my tint and left a lot of glue residue. After calling Frederick Window Tinting, they recommend that I stop by so they could get a look at it. Once I arrived they suggested a couple things for us to try to get the residue off, which worked pretty well. I was able to get in almost right away to get tint put back on my car. They have a nice waiting area with a tv, it took about two hours but the time went by pretty quickly because I just sat and watched a movie. read more
