However - my car, a Corolla driven infrequently and garage kept was not a difficult job. I just wanted a good exterior cleaning and wax and a thorough interior cleaning and with special attention to the upholstery shampoo - which I mentioned on the phone. The job I got was one rung up from the local carwash. No attempt was made to buff out any surface imperfections and the interior is such a disappointment to see every time I get in the car. I could have done a better job with warm water and a shop-vac. The car just wasn't that dirty, so they could have spent a little effort on the few spots on the very durable fabric seats. I think they just didn't bother because it's a little economy car and they had already been paid months ago, so it wasn't important to them. The evening I picked it up, the staff were oohing over an expensive sports car in the lot - I just think they have more interest in flashy cars than in customer service for the average Jane. It's been several weeks since the service, but it still bothers me every time I see the spots on the upholstery.

I understand occasional backlog or something goes wrong...but this is apparently how the company does business. Never again with this company So my wife had a crack in her windshield and learning from the nightmare of bringing your car in I scheduled a at home replacement. Took a day off of work in their scheduled day to replace the windshield, the technician called to say I need to bring my car in because of the "special diagnostics needed for recalibration". I brought her vehicle in, dropped it off and got a call that the windshield they had in their shop to replace mine had a crack in it. So I had to drive back to the shop pick up my vehicle (still with broken glass), while there they rescheduled my home service and confirmed that they can do the whole recalibration at home. Scheduled for Thursday. On Thursday morning I get a call that the windshield isn't ready and they have to reschedule to Saturday...Friday evening I get a text saying that there is a delay in delivery. So I have no rescheduled 4x (and counting) and it's been 4 weeks with a broken windshield. Please avoid this company like the plague. (Saying you're sorry and doing nothing to change is insulting).

After he departed, saw that the rubber gasket that goes around the windshield had not been seated and glued properly AND that the windshield wiper arm had been bent!!! Took another four weeks to get these matters resolved due to uncaring and unprofessional local management. My request to get reimbursement of the $100 co-payment I made, to make up in a small way for the four days I had to miss work, was never made despite the service manager saying he would consider it. If you have the option, AVOID SAFELITE FREDERICK!!
