The crumb bun.
Marge M.

They have the best crumb cake hands down! It is 75% crumb and the rest is just delicious cake. Unlike traditional crumb cakes their cake portion is super moist. They have a variety of different flavor and toppings for their cakes and smaller yet delicious crumb buns.

First time here and everything was amazing. Women in front was so helpful and patient with Waititng to see what I wanted. They take Apple pay and contactless pay !

Blueberry crumb cake

No need to keep traveling up the parkway for crumb cake, stop here! We got the regular crumb and blueberry cheese crumb cake. The cake is moist and the crumbs are heavy. Together they have a great favor and it's not too greasy like some others can be. The blueberry was a huge hit, everyone enjoyed but the middle was a little raw. Probably because the crumbs were so heavy! Either way it was delicious

Polish Cheescake Amazing not too sweet.

If you ever see the Polish Cheescake here you need to get and maybe let me know they have it. It's that good. Also the best coffee cake in the area.

We Came for the Coffee Cake... and Left with So Much More! Everything looked absolutely amazing--it was impossible to choose just one thing! And yes, the rumors are true: the coffee cake has that perfect high crumb-to-cake ratio... just the way it should be, heavy crumb. Rich, buttery, and crumbly in all the right ways. Make the trip, it's worth it.

I really wanted to like their iced cold coffee, but it tasted bitter unfortunately. Do come prepared though, cash only.

The crumb cake is absolutely worth the calories!! It is a higher crumb to cake ratio, but that is exactly how we like it.

The absolute best crumb cake in NJ! A lot of other good pastries as well but the crumb cake is what you want.

I've said this before and I will say it again, TAKE THEIR CAKE DECORATING CLASSES! Or actually,…read moredon't because they fill up fast. I've now taken 4 classes this year. Do I have anything to do with them after the class? Nope, but I love taking the classes that to the most recent one, I brought 3 friends and was yelled at by another for them not being invited, whoops. I usually end up donating the cake to a local firehouse. The class is such a fun time and Christina is awesome at facilitating. She lets you have full creative freedom when decorating. And the cakes are always delicious. This most recent one was a strawberry lemonade flavor and another was Neapolitan which I got compliments on both, even though I've only done the decorating. I'm excited to see what they have next!

From the convenient user-friendly website ordering system, payment system, and seamless correspondence with Polkadot Cake Shop, I knew I was working with a true pro. I sent a picture of what I envisioned and got exactly that and even better. I've never had any service where I have provided a picture and gotten the EXACT results! Just blown away. The ingredients of the cupcakes were top notch as well, tasted so good, my guests were commenting how it was the best cupcake frosting they have ever tasted. And the 'icing on the cake' was that we received a premium custom-made cake at a reasonable price! I will definitely be using Polkadot Cake Shop for future events, thanks for making my son's birthday a memorable one!

As a young kid from Louisiana, one of the first things I missed was the culture, flavor, and sweet treats that reminded me of home in New Orleans. Back then, my teammates used to tease me relentlessly about being the "fat rookie from Louisiana" because I was always chasing pralines, cookies, pastries, and every sugary delight imaginable. Not long after arriving, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly made me feel at home -- Lyndhurst Pastry Shop. This led me to "SACKING" tons of NFC QB's over the years. From day one, Paulette, Jerry, her father, and the entire staff have treated me like family. Decades later, they are still absolutely knocking it out of the park. Whether it's their incredible Italian ice, authentic cannoli, specialty cookies, or my personal weakness -- their unbelievable apple rings -- this place never disappoints. Truth be told, I can't stop there without bringing one home for my wife. Some places serve food. Others serve memories, tradition, and comfort. Lyndhurst Pastry Shop has done that for me for over 40 years. A true North Jersey institution. Five stars isn't enough -- if I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. Leonard A. I ordered the Christmas Honey balls ($19.95) and the Fudge Layer Cake ($29.50) and while I disagree with the credit card fee being passed to the consumer, the quality of the product exceeds that cost. Inside the venue is a true classic bakery atmosphere and while there is usually a line, the service is brisk and moves fairly quickly. If you want to impress your holiday season guests, family or friends, the LPS is the right venue for traditional Italian baked goods and desserts! As i return to NJ for the holidays, I will make at least three or four stops at LPS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ladyfingers Bakery has been on my list to visit for a while--I've seen it all over social media,…read moreand I was really excited to finally check it out. The space itself absolutely lives up to the hype. It looks just like the pictures and videos online. Beautifully decorated, trendy, and very inviting. The staff was also friendly, which made for a pleasant experience overall. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste as good as it looked. I ordered the buttermilk cast iron pancake with berries, turkey sausage, and scrambled eggs on the side. The pancake itself was disappointing. It tasted more like cornbread, and not the slightly sweet kind like Jiffy, but more savory and noticeably salty. It was also pretty dry. The mascarpone cream and berries helped balance things out a bit, but I'm not sure if too much lemon or salt was added because my pancake leaned heavily on the salty side. I also tried the "All Night Long" drink, which I actually really enjoyed. It was strong and well-made, and I'd definitely recommend it. Overall, while the ambiance and drinks were highlights, the food didn't quite meet expectations. I can't say I'd rush back, but if I did, I'd be curious to try one of their dirty sodas instead.
