I am never coming back here again... The girls behind the counter are rude every time I come in there which is quite frequently. But if someone Spanish comes in they're very friendly. All smiles and chatting away. All I got from them because l'm white is A disdainful look on their face. This bagel shop is small with 4 tables. First impression is that the shop is dirty. We arrived at 8 am and the floors, tables and counters were dirty. The whole time we were there we didn't see anyone cleaning. We ordered: a fried egg with turkey bacon on a rye bagel and a two eggs over easy on a everything bagel. Plus 2 coffees (no refills allowed). The food took a bit too long to arrive. The bagels were delicious and the meal was satisfying. The coffee was decent and cups and lids of the coffee were solid. I have tried bagels at other various places and I did enjoy Massapequa's bagels the most. Despite the fact that their "Everything bagel" did Not have much of anything on its surface (which was disappointing), the flavor was still there. ZERO STARS! Today I went because my bf didn't believe how bad (service, time, and order accuracy) this place was. To start, it wasnt really busy and it took forever to order. We placed our ordered. I ordered a few things, and also clearly asked for a bagel with butter... NOT TOASTED and the guy said ok, meaning he heard me. 15 mins later they asked if we got our food and when we said no, he laughed and said someone must have given our food away and they'll make another 1. When I get home I come to a luke warm bagel. I did not order anything hot for the bread to be warm and have the butter melted. Every time I've been there they mess something up. 1st time, I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. I don't know if it was the cheese or the bread or what it was, but something in the sandwich was sour. The bread wasn't even warm. Not even sour dough bread seemed as sour. 2nd time, my bagel was burnt. I specifically asked for toasted crispy/crunchy but not burnt. 3rd time, I went on the website to check the time they closed and it said 3. I called them for over half an hour and no one answered. When someone answered, no one spoke. Seemed like they had it in their pocket and mistakenly hit answer. I walked over there and asked for a hot sandwich and at 1:45pm they said the grill was closed. When I asked why the grill was closed so early if they close at 3, the 4 "kids" working there looked confused/shocked and just said sorry. I also told them I was calling and no one answered and they looked at each other and apologized again. The website should mention something about the grill closing way before closing time. The only reason why they got 1 star is because I can't give them ZERO! I guess the 1 start can go to the bagels and wheat rolls I bought 1 time (not toasted or with anything on) being great! read more

Was friends with the owners daughter and she had the audacity to send me screenshots from the store of when I said things were incorrect or missing on Uber eats. How unprofessional. Falsely accused me of doing it for my own benefit when her staff continued to get things wrong, give a different item or forget items. I am spending my money there because it's close, convenient and to help her fathers business, but I get ridiculed because I report when things are incorrect? Ridiculous. Bagel spot in Carmans plaza. Been going here my entire life and for good reasons. I believe they make the best egg sandwich on all of Long Island. They are renovated the parking lot currently and is upgrading. Clean and fast service. They also have a texting service where you can text your order and pick it up in 10 minutes. I think this establishment makes up prices. I was charged $8.99 for an omelette with chicken onions and cheese but there menu has omelettes with lox or steak for $6.29. I haven't had anything other than their bagel egg sandwiches and bagel with homemade cream cheese (yet) as I've only been here a couple times, but this place is SO GOOD! Their bagel egg sandwiches are huge and the bacon is crispy but not overly greasy. You do have to make sure you ask to have the bagel toasted, as I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and it wasn't toasted (my mistake, I guess I just assumed everyone toasts their bagels?). Their everything bagels are extremely salty though, but I've found that most Long Island everything bagels I've had are all extremely salty. Very happy with this place and can't wait to try more of their menu, haven't been disappointed yet! read more

Good bagels and sandwich was on point. Had a Reuben with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. Although it was good on the sandwich the coleslaw has way too much mayo. I noticed the same with the other salads on other visits. I like the mac salad the best. The heroes they make are really good too. I like the Mineola with added Russian.
