This is a tiny, cosy, delicious and "beautiful" bagel spot that is appropriately "sandwiched" between a beauty parlor and a hair place and busy for all the right reasons. Delicious hand rolled soft bagels. I got an everything bagel sliced and it was superb. Fresh, really tight bagel which was definitely more substantial than what I get elsewhere with the perfect crispy just right crust and a nice chewy interior. The dried garlic and onion, salt, poppy and sesame seeds on top were just the right amount. This was a fantastic bagel. Did not need toasting. The egg salad was dynamite. It had the correct amount of mayonnaise and no egg smell yet tender, soft and creamy chunks in the egg salad. This was a nice change from the usual omelette or scrambled eggs Sammy. The staff is really cool. Young kids who are quick, alert, polite and thankful. The team here was very thorough and precise and repeated my order back to me to ensure accuracy. There was a line of 5 before me and it moved rapidly. There are only 6 seats inside ( 3 small tables) and a high chair for babies. They have a cute display with candy chips, cookies and Nutella packets. The cream cheese and salad cooler looked fantastic and very appetizing. The one thing that struck me immediately was how clean and organized everything was. Very warm and inviting. $1.50 each for the bagel is a very good price. I loved Bagels Santa Fe. Friendly Faces and Great Bagels! This was my first visit to this little bagel shop/deli, and I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by friendly faces, which sets a warm and welcoming tone. It's a straightforward kind of place, order to go or, if there's a few available seat, enjoy your food right there. The shop is cozy, with just three small tables, each with a couple of chairs. Despite the size, they have a great selection of bagels, various types of butter, cream cheeses, and other spreads. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel with a medium coffee, and it was just $8. The big open windows at the front make it a comfortable spot to soak up some sunshine, especially on a cold winter day like today. The little shop is kept very clean, and organized which is a huge plus for me! I definitely appreciate that. They also have fresh brewed coffee with a variety of flavored creamers. We came here when staying at a local hotel. What a great find! The bagels here are wonderful; as are the bagel sandwiches. We came on a weekend morning and it was busy; but not a long wait. The staff was friendly as was everyone in line. It looked like more of a locals place with a lot of folks knowing who walked in the door. The staff is really friendly, attentive and quick with service. There are a few tables inside to eat. We saw a mix of people eating there and taking food to go. There aren't many bagel businesses where I live so I took the 12 minute trip here to settle my lox spread craving today. I searched high and low on Yelp for decent local bagel shops. Many have closed down unfortunately. I found the name of this place intriguing. When I arrived there were a friendly bunch of young people at the counter. A young man greeted and me and took my order. There were so many delicious spreads and fresh bagels on display. I decided on Lox spread on a onion bagel. My new favorite. I paired it with a Iced Coffee. Their iced coffee is premade in a fountain which was interesting. The brew was strong and had a smooth flavor I can't explain. Very good and hats off to the team. I'm a Queens girl, so LI bagels have never been at the top of my list, but now I actually have a favorite bagel place in LI. Santa Fe makes some really good bagels and they are so much better than others in the area. A small shop with a strong variety of bagels. They even make a whole wheat sesame, which I never understand why whole wheat sesame is not more mainstream. Their french toast bagel is delicious, just sweet enough and satisfied my french toast craving without all the work. They also make a mean chicken salad. The staff is friendly and all properly masked. Also if you have a little asking for a rainbow bagel, you can find them at Santa Fe, but note they are not included in the standard dozen price. Well it's a good thing I don't have to travel to Santa Fe New Mexico but only to East Meadow for these little circular gems. The bagels are perfectly balanced in firmness and texture. One bite and you'll be hooked. These bagels are freshly baked on site and they have a pretty good selection to choose from. They also make sandwiches and offer a pretty nice selection of different cream cheeses and spreads. I also noticed they have lox as well. They have a well stocked fridge of beverages and I love the coffee here. Great tasting coffee coupled with Awesome bagels is a winning combination in my book. When you walk in Elver and Maria will greet you with a warm smile and take good care of you. Pretty quaint little bagel shop in the neighborhood. They have rainbow bagels (if you are into it) and many cream cheese spreads. Many breakfast specials! I had the sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel for a little over $5. It was delicious and the sausage is the nice breakfast pattie style. I have gone to Bagel Santa Fe for a while now. They generally make a solid egg sandwich and their food is generally good. A while back, I made an order and they forgot to give my coffee to the person who picked up the order for me. I had to drive back myself for the coffee and they were extremely apologetic. Because of that, I still went back many other times. There were times when the person taking the order wasn't knowledgeable of the place's menu or just wouldn't understand what I was saying. Generally, I don't fault a place for that but have decided at times to not to place an order after being misunderstood multiple times. I even know that I shouldn't get more complicated orders from this location because of the communication barrier. Today, I was really disappointed by the service I received. I prepaid for 30 bagels and was charged around $20-$30. I looked at my receipt and was a little confused because it looked like I only paid for 28 bagels but figured I could just buy two additional bagels the day of. The person who rang me up also said something about getting a bagel free if you buy a dozen. Today I went to grab my bagels and the person working, presumably the owner, would not believe me when I said I prepaid. I had two copies of the receipt. The first one just said the overall cost. He was convinced I just bought something else for that amount and was trying to use that receipt to make it look like I paid. I luckily had the itemized receipt and showed it to him. I told him that his response to me was not okay and he kinda brushed me off. There was no apology. He just said that there was no note that I paid. If you make a mistake, apologize. If someone has been a customer a while and says they have paid, trust them. If you buy something here, keep the receipt. It was an awful experience to be questioned like that and though I used to come always come here for my Saturday bagel- it's really not worth it to me anymore. read more

I walked into here after a nail appointment when I noticed that there was a line out the door, needless to say I had to check it out for myself. Once inside the staff was super friendly, the space was very clean, and they were quick. The prices were just right! I got my favorite cinnamon raisin bagel lightly toasted with scallion cream cheese with an iced coffee. Everything was delicious, including the coffee!
