    The worst BLT ever
    Andrew D.

Horrible yelp needs to make a zero star rating. Service was friendly but slow , I waiting almost 10 minutes for a BLT, the store wasn't crowded. I spent $15 for a BLT and a Snapple! The only nice thing I can say was the drink was cold and the mayo was good. The bacon was dry and hard not crunchy but tough like bad beef jerky. The toast was burnt. Just a horrible experience just look how horrible this expensive sandwich was !

This is one of those situations where the business does not need to care at all about all these haters - their lines are out the door regardless! Not sure why all the negativity here. This was my first experience with Long Island bagels, and they were delicious! A bit different than the ones I'm used to at my neighborhood shop - in general not as jumbo, but equally chewy, super fresh (you can see them making them in real time in the back), and a great ratio with the cream cheese (it's not as excessive because the bagel itself is smaller). Lines are long on the weekend, but moves quickly and efficiently. People seem nice enough to me, not sure why people complaining about the service. Don't listen to the haters! This place has great bagels!

Crumbs of bacon and hardly any turkey for $15

I don't know what is going on with this place but it seems they can never get orders for pickup straight but today was actually a walk in order that they couldn't get straight.. We come here all the time and my husband goes daily to get his breakfast because he loves the bagels here. If you order sandwiches make sure you check to make sure they are correct The past 3 orders in a row were wrong, missing bacon and given like 3 slices of turkey for a $15 wrap/bagel sandwich. I wouldn't come here anymore if my husband didn't like the bagels so damn much. Today I got my usually honey turkey, bacon and American cheese on a wrap and I went to eat it and it I literally has 4 crumbs of bacon in my wrap. So she knew to put it but then didn't. I have know idea what she did. Save yourself the time and annoyance and go to ivarones if you aren't getting a bagel or better yet, get your bagel bring it to Ivarones and have them make your sandwich. And guys would it hurt you to smile at the customers.

Town Bagel in wantagh off of wantagh Ave in a shopping center, has fresh bagels, breakfast specials ( can not change) parking, and seating. Pretty part time girl with long braid tried to get the order correct. I'd asked for the strawberry on top of the cream cheese, did I get it--- NO! Homemade home fries NOT. They didn't have ( even though sign says so) Fresh OJ No . Yet there wasn't any sign sign for it) only standard bottles for purchase. GOOD MORNING SPECIAL can't switch out a soda choice for coffee or tea Or Juice. Decor (Do see pix) lots Of nice things well decorated including a pix of Marylin Monroe, a cool collection of lunch boxes, decor on top of entrance and within foyer. Uber eats- or a place to go to get a fresh bagel properly toasted.

I enjoy Jalapeno peppers and in every other edible form such as jalapeno cheese, jalapenos poppers, jalapeno cheddar biscuits - chips & dips too - I just can't confess to my internist these jalapeno indiscretions, he'd be pissed. And as a native New Yorker, there's bagel in my blood - been knoshing on 'em as ever since I had teeth enough to do it. "The Schmear" is the term (Curtis Dliwa to Bagels on Broadway 970AM) for spreading your cream cheese on NYC'c cheapest (occasionally considered Jewish) breakfast option. Dad would bring home a bag on Sundays, the silver Philadelphia brand and pink TempTee containers would be ready on the kitchen table. Bagels became bigger business in the late 80's followed by tricked out cream cheese options in the early 90's. Herb spreads and vegetable spreads were quite popular - the cranberry pecan and cookies dough sweet type didn't really catch on and have fallen by the wayside as other exotic cream cheeses spawned - such as caviar and Kimchi. Village Bagels had a vast cream cheese selection, visually, it's breakfast Baskin Robbins, schmeared not scooped. Staffers wanted orders - not in a rude manner, yet noticably not thrilled with indecisiveness as side mouth voices passed judgement, daily emotional reset being tapped into fat too early. But I decided my meal earlyish in the parking lot, the same didn't hold true for my buddy who was in a two day bender. My benders never have bagels - they're mainly focused upon sex, more drugs and an unspecified rebellion Such a generous portion was spread, teetering on overkill - and seeing the register ring at $18.00 it was the most expensive bagel spot I've been to in Long Island. I loved my Crumb Cake flavor coffee and this will push my review up a full star as it's daring to offer such a flavor, with Columbian as the only other choice.

Every time we are in Wantagh, since my boyfriend grew up here, we have to hit Town Bagel. While the lines may be long, they truly do have the nicest people working here so it's worth it to come back. It's a Wantagh staple. Their bacon, egg and cheeses are always stuffed with tons of bacon, melty cheese and perfect eggs. There are so many deals that include an iced tea or juice, as well as really good iced coffee. If you have the chance, don't skip the iced tea because it isn't watery like every other place! There's usually plenty of seating so you can stay and enjoy, or take it to go. But even if there is a line, at least you can look at all of the delicious baked goods and vats of cream cheese while you wait!

So one day, I was having that annoying bagel craving and I was like eff it, I'm braving (the other place that shall not be named). I walked up to it and saw the line and I just could not. Then I remembered Bagel Corner from high school days loooong ago. "Could it still be there?" I wondered. Yes, yes it is (it's actually a different business altogether but a good bagel is a good bagel). No crazy lines, excellent bagels (whole wheat everything FTW), an array of tofu spreads, friendly service and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? Good espresso drinks, that's what. I haven't tried them yet, but nice to see that they are there. So this is my bagel shop these days. Also a note that their cream cheese selection is incredible. If you're feeling a little crazy, they even have gingerbread and chocolate chip in addition to the traditional flavors. Not my thing as I don't do dairy, but I'm all about the tofu spreads.

Delicious hand rolled soft bagels. I got an everything bagel sliced and it was superb. Fresh, really tight bagel which was definitely more substantial than what I get elsewhere with the perfect crispy just right crust and a nice chewy interior. The dried garlic and onion, salt, poppy and sesame seeds on top were just the right amount. This was a fantastic bagel. Did not need toasting. The egg salad was dynamite. It had the correct amount of mayonnaise and no egg smell yet tender, soft and creamy chunks in the egg salad. This was a nice change from the usual omelette or scrambled eggs Sammy. The staff is really cool. Young kids who are quick, alert, polite and thankful. The team here was very thorough and precise and repeated my order back to me to ensure accuracy. There was a line of 5 before me and it moved rapidly. There are only 6 seats inside ( 3 small tables) and a high chair for babies. They have a cute display with candy chips, cookies and Nutella packets. The cream cheese and salad cooler looked fantastic and very appetizing. The one thing that struck me immediately was how clean and organized everything was. Very warm and inviting. $1.50 each for the bagel is a very good price. I loved Bagels Santa Fe. I will definitely be back to try everything else.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by friendly faces, which sets a warm and welcoming tone. It's a straightforward kind of place, order to go or, if there's a few available seat, enjoy your food right there. The shop is cozy, with just three small tables, each with a couple of chairs. Despite the size, they have a great selection of bagels, various types of butter, cream cheeses, and other spreads. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel with a medium coffee, and it was just $8. The big open windows at the front make it a comfortable spot to soak up some sunshine, especially on a cold winter day like today. The little shop is kept very clean, and organized which is a huge plus for me! I definitely appreciate that. They also have fresh brewed coffee with a variety of flavored creamers. I love these little spots where you can grab something to eat and enjoy a quiet moment alone. I'll definitely be stopping back in before heading to the airport to pick up some bagels to take home to Florida!

The place is in a strip mall on Hicksville Rd, pretty close to to Jerusalem Ave. The place is pretty small but clean, and there's usually a decent sized line when I've gone in, around 8am. From my experiences, this place does a good job w/ its pricing. I believe bagels are currently in the $1.60 range each, which is a little less than other places I've been. This place also has a few specials, which is great to see. There is a commuter special during the weekdays which is a buttered bagel or roll + coffee / tea for $4.29 + tax from 5am-11am. They also have pretty good prices on egg sandwiches on a bagel. I got one this past weekend (2 eggs on a bagel) and it was $4.61 including tax. It also came with a coffee. Thought that was a solid deal. Their bagels are pretty solid; I wouldn't say they're anything close to the absolute best, but fairly solid for the price. I ordered my egg sandwich w/ pepper and ketchup and it was solid if unspectacular. Overall, I'd give this place 4 stars as they've delivered solid quality and solid prices from what I've experienced. That in itself is quite rare on Long Island these days so gotta give credit where its due.
