Bacon egg and cheese, egg bagel, iced coffee

Great bagels. Friendly staff. Good prices (I'm from California but used to live out here. So good to me). Chill inside with some inside seating. Ate here like 3 times on my trip.

All you need to know about this place now is $4 for a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. Sorry to be that guy, but sometimes it's hard to keep taking the gut punches. And for the record, when you do pay four bucks for that and another $3.25 for a small juice, it's a little insulting to be charged $.32 when you use your debit card. And the shame of it is that I really liked this place when they opened.

On Fire Bagels and deli in East Meadow NY, has a variety of nicely placed standard deli things. In the front is a small fridge with a variety of puddings as rice, banana, strawberry, chocolate. They have a selection of meats for slicing, grilled chicken, tuna salads and bagel's which upon request are hand sliced. They do take charge cards and debit cards at an added4%charge.

Bacon, Egg, Swiss, tomato, Salt & Pepper on an Egg Everything bagel.

Stopped at Bagels on Fire for a quick sandwich & a few bagels for during the week. I ordered a Bacon Egg & Swiss with tomatoe S&P on an egg everything bagel. The bagel was soft and had good flavor, plus it has sunflower seeds mixed with the everything seasoning which is diffrent and a favorite for me. There was a good amount of bacon and it was well seasoned. It was also still warm by the time I got home which is nice, no cold bacon. The sandwich comes with a small coffee or orange juice which is a bonus if you don't feel like stopping to get coffee somewhere else. They had a good variety of bagels so I'm looking forward to trying something else next time. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and repeated your order just to make sure it was correct which is great as a couple people came in with complicated sandwich orders. I'll definitely go back and try more options.

Their breakfast sandwiches have always been my favorite. I used to say that I wished they would open a location closer to me, so you can imagine how happy I was when I heard that a location had finally opened in Garden City last year. Long overdue, but absolutely worth the wait! After dinner in Garden City tonight, we simply drove across the parking lot and stopped in. Of course, I couldn't leave empty-handed. I picked up two chocolate croissants and a tiramisu to take home. The chocolate croissants were beautifully flaky and buttery, and the tiramisu was a lovely indulgence. Everything looked as beautiful as it tasted, which is something I've always appreciated about Tatte. It was the perfect way to end our evening.

It's the kind of smell that instantly tells you you're about to have a great day. Our afternoon tea experience started with chilled water and refreshing peach iced tea being brought to the table when we were seated. Then the food started arriving, with our first pot of Darjeeling tea. Fresh baked orange cranberry scones were buttery, and tender with bright citrus flavor and bursts of sweet tart cranberry. Slathered with their homemade Devonshire cream and fruit preserves, every bite was rich, silky, and absolutely heavenly. The mixed berry salad cups were fresh and vibrant, combining crisp mixed greens with juicy strawberries, plump blueberries, perfectly roasted lemon pepper chicken, and a sweet, tangy fig balsamic dressing that tied every flavor together beautifully. The mini feta arugula quiche had a flaky, buttery crust filled with creamy egg custard, salty feta, and peppery arugula for the perfect savory bite. Dessert was every sweet tooth's dream. The chocolate ganache thumbprints were rich, fudgy, and decadent, while the crumb cake was incredibly soft with a thick buttery cinnamon crumble that tasted just like it came out of Grandma's oven. To end the experience, we were offered a second pot of tea and chose the Red Velvet Tea, a smooth, subtly cocoa blend with hints of raspberry that paired perfectly with dessert. For just $39, this afternoon tea feels like one of Long Island's hidden gems. Whether you're celebrating, catching up with friends, or simply looking for a cozy afternoon escape, this is an experience that's worth slowing down for.
