Soft white powder with gold glitter almond shaped nails. Full set.

I absolutely love studio Yen. I started to come here to get pedicures with my two girls (12 and 4 years old). They have a cute kids pedicure chair area with two chairs, both with mini iPads to play with while they get their toes done. The pedicures are awesome, thorough and have lots of options. But I had never gotten a full set there until yesterday. I was THRILLED with how they turned out! I am in love with these, and they were done at the same time as my feet with a very comfortable lap desk. All in all, may be my new favorite place. And it's right down the street!

This nail salon is not like most of your nail salons. Nikki does a great job and takes her time and is really about the customer experience! She did a beautiful ombre full set for me. And I just got my first fill from her! She really is very kind and wants to make sure that you walk out of their loving your nails and feeling amazing! The salon is very clean and has a large amount of colors to choose from! It is very inexpensive for the quality of work that she does! I definitely recommend her to all of my family and friends

Yen and Peter are the best Nail Techs ever they are really friendly and nice. They always appreciate everyone who comes in and treat me so good and make me feel welcomed. iv been coming in here for 3Years and always love coming here. They did one of my girl friends nails and they came out really good ! Ask for Yen she's very sweet and good at what she does:) Will always keep coming back

Amazing nail salon! Attention to detail and perfection! I found this salon a month ago, I'm new to the area and have been to so many crappy salons. I'm so happy to have found my home salon at Studio Yen! Peter is a nail genius!

Yen did such a GREAT job on my gel manicure and pedicure! I gave her a photo and she matched it almost perfectly only had to wait about 20 minutes after I checked in for a walk in appointment. Everything was very clean and masks were on. Will definitely be back!

I've been here twice now and Jenny has done a fantastic job on my dipped nails. She's a perfectionist and I appreciate that.

If I could put no stars I would. This was my second time coming here. The lady that did my toes the first time did amazing. This last time a man did it and he makes me want to never get a pedicure again. I cut my own nails to my size and shape. All he needed to do was file them to make it look clean. I didn't ask for any special service I just wanted the most basic pedicure without any stones or massage. I just wanted my toes cleaned up and polished. The man was cutting my nails with cuticle clippers and cut my skin that I was bleeding. He put ALCOHOL on them and I wanted to cry but I bit my lip and my toes starting throbbing. He finished painting and rushed me out to pay. I was charged the price for a full pedicure. Based off how he acted it didn't seem like he has his license and needs to be taken off the floor. So if you want to walk out from a salon lumping feel free to come here but this will not be a place I recommend EVER.

Not going back!!! This is the 2nd nail place that has added to the tip.
    Sarah G.

Don't go here! She quoted me $28 but charged $28.88. I told her to add $5 for tip and she did plus $5 cash back so she got $10. See receipt photo. This is the 2nd salon in Gilbert I have been to that has done this. Beware!

    Incredible artwork!

In my honest opinion this is the best nail salon in the east valley. Peter is simply amazing, thorough, patient and gentle. You can now book your appointment on line and since they've been busy this secures my spot and they're all considerate of my time. Why would you go anywhere else? Book your appointment now!

it took me a long time to find a salon i was completely comfortable with and trusted considering my expectations are very high. I go to peter every couple of weeks for acrylics and he is FANTASTIC! Very sweet and all of the prices are reasonable!

They have all the prices laid out (no hidden charges) and have a fair repair policy. There are times I have broken my nails and they will always help me repair them at no extra charge. Last night I returned after going to another nail salon and it reminded me of why I miss going to the place. There are so many colors to choose from and they have a nice display so you can choose the perfect shade. I got a pedicure which included shaping/cuticle trim, color, sugar exfoliator, foot mask, mud mask, and a massage for cheaper than other places! My feet were super soft once I was finished. Then the nails! I normally just do a solid color but the tech seemed very comfortable with designs. At the last minute, I switched from a solid color to wanting polka dot nails. He chose the perfect light pink shade and made sure the polka dots were the exact size and pattern I wanted. I'm obsessed with my nails and I keep getting compliments on them! The shape is perfect too!

As a walk in, I waited about 15 minutes at the front desk just to get an answer on whether they could fit me in. It felt like there should have been a quicker way to determine availability. I was also surprised by the $2 sanitation fee. It's not the amount that bothers me it's the principle. Maintaining clean, sanitized tools and equipment should be a standard part of doing business, not an extra charge passed on to customers. To me, that's simply part of the service I'm already paying for. The quality of the pedicure was great, but the wait and additional fee left me with mixed feelings about the experience. I don't believe I will be back.

The staff here is friendly while staying attentive to their work. They offer a discount punch card. Make sure to get one before you leave. My nail tech started off great. She removed the gel with enough pressure so it didn't harm my natural nail. Later, a couple of walk-ins came in and boss lady assigned one to my tech. So she had to rush the end of the job. As a result, the filing isn't consistent on my hands. Thankfully, I had a no-polish manicure so mistakes were minimal. I don't blame her. I wish that she was allowed to finish her work well. Perhaps the walk-ins could have been asked to wait 10 minutes to ensure that services are completed to satisfaction. So my tip for relaxing and attentive service, avoid peak hours, which are Friday to Sunday. If you have to go on the weekends, maybe avoid being a walk-in with nail art request.

The day after my appointment, I noticed yellow crusting and redness on my right big toe. The infection has since worsened. I am especially concerned because I am currently 14 weeks pregnant, and an infection is the last thing I need. I'm embarrassed to share the picture of my toe, because I can't put any lotion or anything on the infected toe to prevent worsening, but it has to be included. During my visit, the overall service was also disappointing. I had booked a higher-tier pedicure that included paraffin wax and was told they would try to fit in a manicure if time allowed. I made it clear that I did not need the manicure if there wasn't enough time, but I was assured after my pedicure that there was time for it to be completed. I requested a simple service. No polish, just cuticle care and shaping. The manicure was done in the pedicure chair while I was receiving the paraffin treatment since the tech forgot the paraffin treatment and I had to remind her, which made it physically uncomfortable, as I had to twist and reach across awkwardly. The service itself took about five minutes and was rushed and uneven. I would have preferred transparency if there truly wasn't enough time to complete it properly. I was charged $100 for the services, which means my 'manicure' was $25?! This felt very disproportionate to the quality of the manicure received. I still tipped $20. While I initially considered not leaving a review, the development of a significant infection following this appointment raises serious concerns about sanitation and safety. Please exercise caution before going here. Update: The business responded to my concerns and issued a partial refund. I appreciate their attempt to address the situation.

The pedicure was wonderful, and I was very happy with my feet. Unfortunately, my eyebrow experience was the complete opposite. I specifically asked for a simple eyebrow cleanup, but the technician removed far more hair than she should have. My eyebrows are now noticeably uneven, and a significant portion of my right eyebrow is missing. When I expressed my concern, the technician insisted she had not made a mistake, despite the obvious difference in my eyebrows. I then spoke with the manager, hoping the situation would be taken seriously. Initially, it felt like my concerns were being dismissed. After I removed my glasses so she could get a closer look, I was simply offered a discount for a future visit. I found that response unacceptable given the extent of the mistake. I had an event to attend that same day, and instead of feeling confident, I left feeling embarrassed and upset. While I appreciate the excellent pedicure service, the handling of my eyebrow appointment and the lack of accountability afterward have ensured that I will not be returning. I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and provides better training and customer service when mistakes occur.

Been twice & disappointed both times…read more My first visit, I got a French tip gel manicure over my natural nails. French tip turned ok, some were filed crooked to one side, and the painted tip was crooked as well, but not the worst. I could see the nail grow out from underneath the clear pink polish because the tips were painted to far down almost immediately. Within a couple weeks, the gel polish started chipping off and my nails would crack close to the nail bed. It would snag my hair in the shower and the cracks would hurt so I had to clip my nails down super short to where there wasn't a free edge anymore (stubs). I had to start picking off the lifted parts of the gel polish so it wouldn't snag things and eventually just took off all of the polish by hand. My real nails underneath the polish suffered greatly. I gave them a few weeks off, kept them short and natural. (Also received a pedicure this visit, which seemed okay but they started to chip as well and were slightly crooked too, but not as bad) My second visit, (different tech) because I had my short natural nails (stubs), I got acrylics for a little length with French tip gel polish. Not only do they not look like the simple French tip design photo I showed, you can see the nail tip growing out from the nail bed underneath because the tips are painted on too far down towards the end of my nails. I tried to say something about having that fixed but then he would've had to completely redo the polish and some of the clear acrylic because it wasn't noticeable until painting the clear topcoat. I just don't have the time nor can my nails withstand being drilled down again. It should have been done correctly the first time. Some of the painted tips have more of an arch on one side than the other, and the white line is messy on a lot of them. You can also see the dust that was left on and painted over underneath the gel polish. I did not get to pick out the pink/clear acrylic that went underneath the polish. My cuticles were drilled over and are extra sensitive on some fingers. I did not receive any nail soaking to push my cuticles back or an arm massage this time. I'm heavily disappointed because I've paid about $75 each time plus a 20% tip on top of driving 30 minutes one way. I've had to wait weeks in between having my nails done. They were heavily damaged from the first set cracking and lifting, requiring a lot of downtime to recover despite being a healthy length prior and almost never breaking. Im familiar with proper nail care. Normally mine are in great shape, all I do is maintain a reasonable length, use gel polish, and can go up to 4 weeks between (but usually aim for 3). But they have been pretty annihilated after these two visits, weeks apart. I don't feel confident in returning and feel both visits were a waste of time and money.
