[[HIGHLIGHT]]Staying in the area house sitting and needed a quick mani pedi for an event tonight and was able to get an appointment at 12:15 (on a Saturday!--I thought there wouldn't be availability).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only had to wait a few minutes after picking polish to be taken back. Yuen did manicure first and she did a great job getting all the cuticles and dry skin around the nails, and she was memeticulous with the paint job (even with me doing just a plain mani (no gel or powder)). Then we moved on to the pedicure and I practically fell asleep it was so relaxing. The massage felt awesome on my tired dancer feet, and again she was meticulous with the cuticle trimming and the ppolish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone is super friendly and helpful and the place is spacious and clean (great ventilation doesn't smell like a nail salon), and I love that they use sterilizing pouches for the nail tools![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a little far from my house but totally worth the drive to come back! read more

Disappointed in my service here. Although Kelly was extremely friendly, my experience was not good. There was way too much glue in the gel-x application (which can cause allergy), improper curing, and spilling of top coat around my cuticles. Each nail was cured separately under the light so my hands were under the light for basically the entire hour I was there. She stepped away every 5-10 minutes during my appointment to check out costumers, repeatedly touching cash and coming back to do my nails with ZERO hand washing and no gloves. Also using previously used files. To top it off, she and a customer besides me spent several minutes discussing their support of Trump and that they don't read "bigot news." Very uncomfortable experience. I hate to leave these types of reviews, but please do better with your sanitary standards. I came here because of the positive reviews about cleanliness here but that was not the case. read more

We are normally so pleased coming here but the woman who did my husband's pedicure seemed to care more about everything else than doing his pedicure. She kept disappearing and in no way did a pedicure worth $58. Very disappointed read more

I wish I could give 10 stars for the service I received here! First off, this is the most fancy/clean/kind nail salon I think..ever?! I'll start by saying we went in with some very poorly done nails from a previous salon so I was skeptical at first. Bad experiences will do that I suppose. My mom and I both went together to get our bad nails fixed. Let me start by saying right off the bat, Kelly's Nails immediately saw the concern in why we wanted better nails- but kept it so professional and promised to fix them for us and they did. If you're looking for a sterile, sanitary salon this is your place. They have hundreds of color choices, great music, a coffee/tea nook, and prices are very clearly stated on their service menu. There's about 25 pedicure chairs, same with manicure stations, and plenty of seats in the waiting area. But crammed like sardines here! Everything is so beautifully decorated and furnished, wiped down often and all around an enjoyable experience. The $40 pedicure is their second up from their basic and it put me to sleep with the 10 minute massage. Their technique is great, very detailed work!! I will be returning monthly for my nail needs. read more

I absolutely love Kelly's. I came here a few times in college and it was always an amazing experience. After moving to Phoenix, I had hoped to find a salon I loved in my new area. But after MANY underwhelming experiences at different salons around me, I've finally returned to Kelly's and I'm so glad I did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff are so unbelievably friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I arrived about 30 minutes early due to a short work day and because I made my appointment for a Friday, I was expecting to wait at least some time to get in the chair but they took me back almost immediately. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted in terms of design so I chose two colors and told Henry I was going to Hawaii on a trip. He basically free-styled and the final product did not disappoint! I am so impressed with the design and his attention to detail. After having many experiences at salons around the valley where I felt I was significantly overcharged for a set that I didn't even love, this was such a breath of fresh air. UPDATE - they contacted me to make it right and Tom redid my nails. He was meticulous and took his time which resulted in the perfect shape and natural looking dip nails that aren't too thick. This was my second time at Kelly's nails and I had much higher expectations considering I had a good experience the first time. I made an appointment to see Kevin again and he did a terrible job. From the time he started soaking off the dip to finishing was 45 minutes... this was also including me picking 3 different colors from their color station since he couldn't find my first 3 choices. He was rushing the whole time and didn't cover my entire nail, there are spots missing on the edges. He also skipped steps in the process. After using the activator he did a light buff and that's it. My nails are not smooth at all. I'm pissed I even paid for this. I will not be returning nor recommending this place to anyone. read more

I got one of the sloppiest manicure ever today. She brought over blistering hot water to soak in, but hardly let me soak before she proceeded to cut up my fingers. I was bleeding in two places from her cuticle trim. She then shaped my nail, without asking my desired shape, and didn't even clean off them off before painting. My nails are bumpy, rough, and there is a lot of paint still on my skin. I also asked for a nail art and she slapped it on my nail without any regard. I am so embarrassed by my nails and so mad I paid so much for this. My pedicure wasn't much better, but at least the technician was nice. The other two people in my party loved their nails so maybe I just got the worst of it. read more

I've been here a couple of time in the past and always had a positive experience. Today I came in and asked for an ombré nail. She asked if I wanted gel or dip, and I said I didn't care whatever was easiest/the best to do ombré. She did both dip and gel, which I didn't particularly care I trusted her expertise. Before starting she was asking the girl next to me if she could do it, which made me nervous, but I thought I might be missing context. Here was what I requested and what I got. It looks very unprofessional and I spent $55. This was for a special event tomorrow night and will now need to get them redone. read more

Ok. Well, I called to make an appointment for my daughter. When I arrived I get the weirdest look EVER!!! I told them I wanted a full set for her the blonde teenager looks so confused about what I'm saying. Then she goes off to say they all don't do full sets of nails. Then she goes off to get some Asian lady looking at my daughter she is getting a full set like she never sees a mom with her daughter to get her nails done. Then every white woman getting nails done just looking at us like have you not seen two Latinas before... First time here already getting an ugly welcome to a new customer. Will not be returning. Went for an appointment and got in the chair about 20-30 min after said time. My nails looked good but 1 popped off less than 4 hours after my appt ended. I ended up paying $95 not including tip and after discussing with the client that recommended this place, I was told I had been overcharged. I took this up with their Instagram DMs with proof from their website of pricing. They told me it was pre-Covid and pre-inflation and it had not been updated. I come in to get my nail fixed free of charge and inquire about an itemized receipt. The lady goes over pricing with me and claims I was given a discount. She could not show me any updated service menus and I was never given an official receipt showing me the services I was charged for, only a word of mouth exchange. I'm just going to cut my losses and take my business elsewhere. Tom was great though, very thorough. read more

Love this salon. This is my 2nd review because I feel I needed to update my thoughts! Still a 5 star!! More stars but they only allow 5! I have been a regular customer since 2019! Clean-strong nails-fantastic pedicures- My go to guy Kevin is a 10 star but if you don't get him they are all awesome. I now live in North Scottsdale and make a drive down to Gilbert they are worth the trip! Plus downtown Gilbert is just a cute little strip. read more

Well.. other than getting the wrong color i had a very uncomfortable experience. got a pedicure and was given the only guy which is fine I don't mind ever usually! But I am a young girl so i keep my guard up. Went with just white and ended up getting a completely translucent color that I mentioned wasn't right but it got brushed off the shoulder, why I didn't say anything is well I frankly just wanted to leave. Have gotten my toes done many times but never experienced being tickled this much. I knew it was intentional with him even chuckling everytime he'd go into the middle of my sole. I felt I was literally giving a service instead of receiving, felt nasty and scared after. Whole time I was jolting my leg and letting out uncomfy laughs. Be careful, will never be returning. Day before my birthday and frankly I want a refund but will not be entering that salon again. read more

Cannot recommend this place enough! I've been coming here for a full year now and Kevin never disappoints! This is my most recent acrylic manicure. My favorite thing is how perfected his art is. My acrylics never look bulky or fake. They always blend into the normal nail. That has always been a struggle in finding nail salons because of my skinny fingers. read more

This is my favorite place of all time to get my nails done. My mom, grandmother, and I have been coming here for years and have always been pleased with the results. The salon was recently expanded and is very clean and pristine and has a gorgeous and relaxing ambiance. I went into my appointment and unfortunately they would not take me because I was on antibiotics and they said that I could burn. I was very disappointed, but I understood. They said at least I had to be off antibiotics for two weeks. Unfortunately, I had to be on antibiotics for a few months because I was ongoing an infection that I could not get rid of. Finally, I have been off the antibiotics for two weeks and I called to schedule my appointment. Told them I was ready to receive my Wax service. Also mentioned I had my Bogo free appointment that I was promised because that was my next Wax service. They told me they cannot honor it because I did not come back in a few weeks. However, they were the one that turned me away due to antibiotics and told me I was not allowed to come back until I was off of them for two weeks. They told me they couldn't honor it because it was too long. I am a cosmetologist and have been in the beauty industry for almost 30 years. I would never give a gift card or offer service and then take it away due to a client being sick. That's saying like a gift card expires in a few months. I have been going to them for multiple Waxing services for months prior to this. They said that there is nothing I could do. Very disappointed because I am the type of woman that stays with a licensed professional once I find somebody I like. I will now be moving on to other options and places now. Customer service is definitely not the way it used to be. Very disappointing.
