Have been coming here for years and even though I was sad to hear it was under new management, the new owners are more than welcoming, accommodating and professional! They've completely remodeled the inside, everything is brand new and has a relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back! I've came to this location 3x this year. I always go for the same thing, basic gel pedicure. From last month to this month they supposedly stated at payment time that they increased there prices. For a classic basic pedicure it went up by $13. The older lady was not too friendly and this place can upcharge whenever they like. Be careful with this place before you sit just ask how much so you don't have any surprises later. Can't say I'll be back. read more

This is a nice shop...lots of polish colors available and Lily does a fabulous job. The pedicure chair massage is heaven. There is only one thing that is weird, not a huge deal, but I find it strange...they never greet you when you come into the shop. There always seems to be a nail tech sitting on the couch to the left...she never looks at you. You come I.go to the front desk, a couple nail techs look at you, but say nothing. Some of the staff here are very nice and other just seem like they'd rather die than have to do your nails. I very specifically asked twice that they SOAK my soak off gel no chip instead of using the drill because my natural nails had become very soft, weak, and sore after the previous 2-3 techs used this technique. What happened?? They used the drill. So I politely asked if there was another way they could do it without using the drill --- no answer. Just a nod, a grunt, and carried on drilling to file down. Despite being unnecessary. Never asked what shape I wanted, or if I'd like nails cut. Made me feel bad for having a short nail that hurt when she was scraping under it even though I'd explained how it broke because my nails were damaged by a previous technician. To add to that... I asked to please put two coats of strengthening base coat. She put one then proceeded to paint my pinky nail with color polish. So I stopped and asked again if she could put a second coat of base on the rest of my fingers before proceeding with color. *Told her not worry about the one pinky bc she already painted it Instead she rolls her eyes, asks me what I want, I say again "a second coat of base", and they continues to huff and puff while wiping the polish off the one painted finger. I don't know how or what I could've done to be nicer about the whole experience, but she made me feel like an inconvenience the entire time. (I should add we came in with 5 ppl all, had reservations far in advance, and the total $$$ spent was probably close to $400 by our group) Why did I give four stars??? Because I'd be damned if I didn't admit she did an EXCELLENT job - they look great. And the rest of the party I came with had FABULOUS looking nails as well by the other techs. So maybe this one woman was having a bad day, just over it, or doesn't give a $&@! Idk. read more

So sad! I came here and got a mani and pedi. Paid extra for the callus remover and gel mani. Normally they put the callus stuff on and wrap feet in plastic. She Brought the plastic bag out but never wrapped it and started filing my feet within a minute or so of putting the stuff on. Anyone who knows, knows that it has to sit for a little bit. Needless to say I still have calluses on my feet. Then within a day my gel started peeling off of every single finger. I was in from out of town so I couldn't go back to get it fixed. And to top it off, My pointer finger is infected and swollen. Very painful! Update: i finally had to lance my own finger to release the pressure and squeeze nasty crap from my finger. Ugh! read more

I'm not one to EVER write reviews but I'm extremely disappointed I went in last Friday to get a full set with dip though the customer service was great by Saturday two of my tips had come off. It is now Tuesday and I have four broken nails. In my lifetime of receiving acrylics I've never had such poor quality. Would never recommend. Definitely not worth $60 read more

Well imagine my surprise today when I walked into Polish Nails. I was having my car detailed nearby and sort of wandered over to kill some time while I waited on my car. I was greeted from the very beginning and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Mary did my pedicure and she did an amazing job. She was personable and took the time to find out exactly what I wanted. I was so relaxed at the end of it and my toes looked great!! Then I got to see Tina who did my manicure and did a fabulous job. She was also friendly and personable taking the time to find out what I wanted. She made some suggestions which I decided to go with and I'm so glad that I did. I tried the new hombre look and love it!! I really felt at home from the moment I walked into the shop. It has a great vibe, with a relaxing atmosphere and everyone on staff was friendly. I've been to shops where the staff spends more time speaking to one another instead of their patron and it makes one feel out of place and awkward. There was no such feeling at Polish Nails. I really enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. The nail techs do an excellent job. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is some minor hygiene things. I would prefer if they put the sugar scrub in individual cups rather than reaching in after their gloves have touched my feet. I also see them rinse the callous remover and put back in the basket. We waited over 20 minutes for an appointment that we had made much earlier in the day. A couple that was over 25 minutes late for their appointment was accepted before us so we had to wait. The couple was not required to wear a mask and the salon was filthy. The manicurist tried to use the same file and buffer that she used on the unmasked couple until I asked for a new ones and offered to pay. They did not sanitize the seats until I asked them to and when they did, they used the dirty towels from the previous client. The manicurist was annoyed that she actually was being called out on her inadequacy. My friend asked for a new, clean file and the same manicurist went to the back room, grabbed a file and when we asked her if it was new and clean, she began yelling at us and told us that it was new. it was not. I accidentally booked this place and would have walked out if it were not for my friend that had a job interview and needed a manicure. The staff and owner were rude and not concerned about safety or cleanliness. There was no social distancing in place as every station was occupied. I completely understand that this industry has taken a huge hit but businesses like this; dirty and unsanitary under normal circumstances and should not be open under a pandemic are the reason why this industry has taken a hit. It only takes one bad apple and the entire salon industry will be blamed for an increase in COVID cases because of lazy, greedy owners that do not care about the general public. STAY AWAY!! POSH Nails on Higley (right next to the Chevron station) is amazing and if they were not closed on Tuesdays we would not have to have endured the horrible service from Polish Nails. Posh is VERY clean, the staff is friendly and professional and my pedicure was great. Keep up the great work Posh...Polish...you need to close your salon, retrain the staff and clean the place up. read more

I was in there a week ago, not the happiest on the service. It took 2 hours to get my nails done, 2-3 other people to do my nails, and to top it off... I have a broken foot, had a cast on, and they were making me get up and go from chair to chair.. my nails came out decent, but definitely not worth $60. read more

So disappointed! I received one of the worst pedicure from this nail salon. And the worst part is that they charged me $38 for a basic pedicure with gel polish. I was in complete shock. I've been to a lot of high end nails salons and no one has ever charged me more than 30. I understand if I got callus remover or a foot rub. But it was a regular pedicure with gel polish. Horrible experience. Don't recommend this place at all. read more
