I have been going here for years and have nothing but great service. The staff is very friendly and always does a great job on my nails.

I just had to stop coming here. I really want to love it, but there's just too many things that go wrong. It looks to me like the salon is under new management as of a couple of days ago... But I was going to the sister of the owner and she did a great job other than her constantly cutting my finger or cuticle every time she filed my nails.... Whenever she decided to not show up, her sister would take care of it... Now her sister is the owner or was the owner but she just does a terrible job. She doesn't follow the shape of the nail that I ask for, she also cuts me and the last time I went, the closest end to my cuticle was like 2 inches thick.... I exaggerate, but it wasn't flush like the rest of my nail, it was really thick, and when it grew out, it looked dumb, and it got stuck in my hair... and that's not unusual for her. I don't know if she just doesn't care or just doesn't know how to do nails correctly. So I got tired of letting it go, and decided to go to a different salon. It's probably my fault because I am not very good at advocating for myself and saying something when it actually happens. So anyway, if it's under the old management with the lady that owned it, don't let her do your nails. Not to mention that the infrared nail dryers and tools are absolutely filthy. Nobody cleans anything. read more

I'm never one to leave a bad review but after taking my daughter and 4 of her friends for pedicures this past Sunday for her 7th birthday I was beyond disappointed in the service and the way the staff treated all 5 kids, none of us will ever be back to this salon. We went for Mother's Day pamper and went in as the store opened at 11:00am The ambiance is good with fresh look, clean and organized. We were seated and the regular pedicure starts at $50 and with callus removal it's $58 and above. There's no special treat unlike other places, missed the champagne, basic water was not asked or provided. The whole experience was fast paced and basic, the lady was in a hurry to wrap up to attend other customers. The nail paint was applied only once, barely holding a week. Overall not happy with the service, total for 2 people costed $130 with tips which is 15% min. I would not be visiting again. read more

Had a really great experience here today. Everyone was just so kind and my nails look fantastic!! I was here ages ago but I kind of forgot about it because it's tucked behind In&Out Burger shopping plaza at the Gilbert 202 crossroads. The interior is nicely decorated, the pedicure chairs are modern and the new manager CJ is very focused on each customer having a good experience, which I very much appreciate. Maybe for me its been a long while since I have been this happy with a nail spa, so it feels right to give praise on Yelp. I called and got a same day appointment on a Monday after work. There were many beautiful colors to choose from but the woman who was paying as I walked in had a gorgeous nude pink powder and so I asked for the color and decided to have mine done up the same. The Nail Tech Ben took his time and did meticulous work, I am obsessed with the shape and length. He was super gentle when he had to remove an old nail that was lifting. I hardly felt a thing. Usually (for me) that part can be the least fun part of wearing nails. He pulled out this foam hand rest when he was filing, which made my wrists comfy and I think the angle was better for him to work as well. Paying was easy using their iPad point of sale system. On the way out CJ inspected my nails and thanked me for coming in. I will most definitely be back to Glitter Nail Bar. read more

Got a pedicure with my girl friend. They did an amazing job and were so sweet. It didn't feel like they rushed it and we had a great time!

So I recently moved to the area and was looking for a nail salon. I found glitter nail bar and got a pedicure (best pedicure in life !!!!!!) roughly about six months ago while I was there I met CJ and we began chatting and instantly I wanted him to do my nails!! Between his schedule and my schedule I wasn't able to get on his books for a while, my work schedule was super hectic. I had made an appointment to go on a Friday afternoon. I ended up running a couple minutes late and had to be switched to another technician, I will admit I was very nervous, because I had visited CJ's Instagram page and specifically knew which that I wanted and was concerned that the vision would not be carried through. CJ was very apologetic, but assured me that his sister will take care of me, and does amazing nails, he was not wrong not only did she take her time to execute the Perfect set she was so kind and attentive throughout my entire appointment. I can't wait to return. I think I found my new nail home in Chandler. Ps it is beautiful in there the aesthetic is so clean! read more

The most time I've waited is less than 10 minutes. The owner actually works there and is present every time I am there, which is great. Before, the place was a mess and dirty, and since she has been there, it is looking much better. They have a great selection of colors for both gel and dip. They play current music and not super loud. They have comfortable seats, and their prices are comparable to most salons. I highly recommend Jenny! Since CJ and Lily are gone, Anne is my new favorite nail tech, I like to bring in my ig pics for nail inspo and she does a great job recreating them. I am new to the area so I am glad I found this place! CJ made a special design for me based on some inspiration pics I showed him. Timing was also fantastic! Came in on saturday april 27th for my daughter and I to get gel polish change on our hands and feet. They didnt seem like the really wanted to take us because they took people back for pedicures that came in after us first. The lady doing our nails kept walking away to awnser phones take payment and at one point to turn on the radio (keep in mind no one else in the salon got walked away from only my daughter and I) now its tuesday may 1st and im looking at my nails and my daughters nails and they didnt even paint them correctly they didnt get the color close enough to the cuticle because they already look extremely grown out like they need redone. This is what $120 get us and $120 for just a gel polish change on hands and feet for 2 people not even pedicures or manicures. Absolutely ridiculous read more

Jane did a 'dip' and it was uneven and started peeling off the very next day. She also cut my middle finger quite bad and it was hard to get the bleeding to stop. She didn't even have a bandaid for me. Also they were playing nasty Rap music. I asked the young man receptionist if he could change the station and he argued the it was R&B music. He did change it after awhile to a better station but it was still Punk music. Not relaxing at all. I know I could go back and have them redo everything but I won't do that. She charges for additional services without notice and/or increases the total at the end, I'm sure, in hopes the client does not notice (ex: extra for longer natural nails). During my last visit, I asked for a breakdown of services rendered upon checkout due to inconsistent totals for the same services. Ivy quoted $30 for my hands (manicure with regular polish) and $30 for my feet (gel polish change). I called later asking the price of each service and was quoted only $20 for manicure with regular polish (yes, I confirmed to ensure I heard correctly). I was overcharged by $10. In addition, I started to notice a decline in the quality of work. Ivy has become more rushed and less attentive to detail. She would not remove all of the previous SNS dip before applying the new layer of dip. When I'd point this out, her response was "it's ok." When I called this salon to make the appt, I told the person on the phone that I wanted a Vegas design with cards. He said he could do it. I arrived at the salon and was told to go with a woman. I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she acted as if it would be no problem. An hour into the manicure after adding tips and cutting them, she tells me she can't do the design because my nails are too small. When I told her I wanted the lines on the French manicure to be slimmer she told me she didn't think that looked good, because it looked fake...needless to say, $70 and two hours later I'm stuck with nails that did not match my expectations at all. Twice I have made an appointment at Glitter Nail Bar using their online scheduling service and twice the store has been closed when I arrived. Apparently they allow you to make appointments at times when the store is closed. When I called to find out where they were, the phone just rang and rang and rang before disconnecting without being able to leave a message. Today my appointment was at 9am. I arrived at 8:55, then left to find somewhere else to go as this was the time I set aside for a pedicure for my son's wedding in 2 days. Glitter called me at 9:45am asking me why I wasn't there! I live in North Phoenix and drive 45 min - an hour to get my nails done here because CJ is the best! Consistent, polite, fun to talk to, creative and overall a stand up guy.
