I came in with long toe nails because I haven't don't my pedicure for one month with white gel. I told them specifically keep them square, not shorty but def cut down because there was a lot of nail grow out. Well I practically left with now toe nails and gel funny bunny color that has streaks and not all of my nails have full color of gel. My toe nails aren't square like they were when I came in they're and honestly really taken back they chopped my nail down so bad they had to add powder to create a nail ... why if I had nails to begin with. I will not recommend or return and they still charged me $55.00 even though I've expressed how I didn't like them and they did them wrong. I went to this nail salon about 6 weeks ago and had amazing service with a sweet girl. I went back yesterday and got a man (I think he was the owner) and he did an awful job. He cut me once with the Dremel nail file tool and I flinched, he asked if I was okay, but then preceded to do it THREE MORE TIMES on different fingers. My fingers hurt so bad today and I'm sure one is infected. My nails are also super bumpy. If you go do not let the man do your nails! read more

Sometimes their state of the art massage chairs alternate between goosing and squeezing my bum. Sometimes, when you order the callous removal, they grate a hole in your foot with that cheese grating tool, and sometimes they don't... but the pedicure is so good you'll be back. Now that my mom lives in the Valley, she's found her own local nail shop just as we had "our spot" in Indiana. They seem to remember everyone and ask how everything is going - that is definitely customer service! Bottled water and a quick whisk to the comfy spa seats awaits you upon arrival. The gentleman I had for my pedi was a little rough on my legs during the massage. I asked to ease up and he didn't do so too much. I recently moved to Chandler and scoured Yelp for options on a new nail salon. I tried Furama this past weekend and couldn't be more happy! They have tons of nail polish options and the wait wasn't long at all even without an appointment. The shop has about 10 pedicure chairs that seriously give the best massage ever- I've never had the bottom butt portion feel so amazing! I received the $40 option that included callus remover, hot stone, paraffin, longer massage and sea salt scrub (so basically everything) and it didn't disappoint. I went with the basic manicure with a French Tip and I loved how they moved me to an actual station. It feels like every salon now a days has you sit in the pedi chair and awkwardly turn so you can get both done quicker- totally takes away from the relaxation! This used to be my go to place for manicures and pedicures for over a year but I will never be going back. I am so disappointed in the service I received. I was getting a Dipped Manicure by one of the technicians who was very frustrated with me not "relaxing my hands" enough. He kept snapping my hand by the fingers trying to tell me to relax! After two times of doing this eventually took a nail file and slapped the back of my hand and telling me that I was doing a bad job "relaxing". He laughed thinking it was funny. Later on in the manicure he was trying to clip my cuticles but instead of clipping them he was ripping them out. By the end of it I had two fingers that were bleeding. My thumb was the worst. He saw the blood on my thumb and then proceeded to wipe off the blood with his bare finger and WIPE MY BLOOD ON TO THE BACK OF MY HAND he left it there for the rest of the session. As he painted my nails my thumb kept bleeding so he tried to wipe the blood off with a little napkin he had and used it a few times and my bloody napkin was just sitting there on the counter the whole session. He painted over areas of my thumb that had blood on it and DIPPED THE BRUSH BACK INTO THE PAINT VIALS. He never washed his hands the whole session. As a nurse I just couldn't believe this was mishandled so badly. I know sometimes cutting cuticles can cause bleeding but you HAVE to be sanitary and cautious about how you handle it. I had a little infection in my thumb for a few days- couldn't even enjoy my manicure because I had to treat all of my cuticles with triple antibiotic and band aiwill never be going back here. **my nails have been damaged for weeks after my manicure, I found out the technician used the drill to clean up the edges of the dip manicure next to my cuticle and I have a dov read more

I've been coming here on and off since they opened and love the service each time. The prices are decent but make sure you start a stamp card for $10 off a future service! I am new to town and found this place through yelp. I went right when they opened and proceeded to get a full set with white tips. The man was kind and gentle when removing my old set. He started to put the tips on and it seemed ok at the time. But when I got home I noticed that the tips were not completely adhered to my nail. The gap is enough to catch little things. I have to use a stiff brush to get it out, but some of the nails have a deep gap and I can not get it. I advise against using this salon all together. Grrrrrr So update ... My nails have all lifted off starting from the back. Not in my entire history of getting my nails done have they lifted like this. Next they just started popping off like the cheap press on nails, but with pain. My nail bed is so thin I can't get my nails redone until it heals. This review is well overdue. We use to come here once a month back when Scooby worked here. This place has gone down here. The worst mani/full set I've ever had. He cut my cuticle and then continued to put acetone over it!!! My fingers got infected. After putting on the acrylic he used this tool to shape everything and it burned my nails like crazy! Getting a mani is not suppose to hurt. The gel also was also bubbly and he left gel under my nails. My nails were "square square" according to him.. these don't look very square to me. My nails were also all different lengths. I'm never coming back again. I was there for 2 hours and 20min for just a full set with gel (sat down right away but my fingers soaked in the water for a good 35min before) Oh! And their prices went up. We made an appointment because we thought they would be busy. This was our first time at this salon. We arrived early since my daughter had acrylic and wanted gel. My daughter had Tiffany and she was great. She was able to trim her nails, file down the acrylic and apply gel. Her nails looked great. So my usual nail technician moved to California!!! NOOOOOO!!!! Has my world collapsed?!?! Fear not, Furama Nails is just down the road and is FANTASTIC! It's in the same shopping strip as the Safelite call center and has plenty of parking. I walked in with no appointment on a Monday afternoon and was immediately taken care of (no surprise there). The interior is beautiful and clean. I got a basic mani just to test the waters with it being my first new nail place in 5 years. They were very gentle with my unruly cuticles, no bleeding. The hand massage was a tad short, but maybe I was just spoiled with my previous tech. My nails looked fantastic for the week, no chipping, my nails didn't dry out or tear. I will definitely be back for a pedi and gel mani. They also have a rewards card for each time you go. I've noticed the other reviews on this yelp page and I'm honestly shocked and sorry that sort of thing happened to them. I've been going to Furama Nails for four years. They are my only nail salon and I've literally never had a problem with them. Usually Ken does my nails but all of the techs there are good. One thing I've noticed is that if you see something or don't like the way it's looking, TELL THEM! They will happily make it right for you. I've messed up my polish multiple times and come back for a fix, which they've always done for me no problem. This is my go to place! $27 full set come on! read more
