The first time I went in my nails turned out great, I was sure this was going to be my new go to spot. I went in last Thursday for a new hard gel set and they are so thick and two have broken. They've done some updates over the last year and have new pedicure chairs. Large variety color selection and various options available depending on what you want and price you're aiming for. First time here and I felt like a Queen! Service was fast and friendly, and my nails turned out so pretty. The facility is clean, and I love that their tools are from sterile packs. The luxury pedicure was amazing, my heels are so soft and my legs feel like jello after the lotion and massage. I recently stopped by this salon while in town and in need of a weekend manicure. The location was conveniently close to my hotel and right in-between a little strip mall with a subway and Starbucks. I went with a gel manicure (color #72) which ended up being $30 total. The price was a little bit higher than I'm used too, but I'm also comparing it from out of state. The girl who did my manicure was very nice and definitely a perfectionist which is never a bad thing when getting your nails done. I came here for a quick pedicure after hiking nearby mountain, and was in need of some pampering. This place was immediately available and closest from where I parked to carpool for hiking. Walking in, I saw pedi stations on the right and noticed on plastic liners. I was quite pleased with cleanliness of this place. Everything including floor was clean and they used tools out of sanitized packet (as they are supposed to do). I went hiking and had a drink at lunch, so I was tired and dozed off several times as my tech worked on my pedi and massage. Massage chair was comfortable and I was totally relaxed for nice one hour. The older lady who worked on my nails asked me several times throughout the process if I liked them so far. Payed attention to detail and was gentle while drilling. I went there a couple of times to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, my experience was not pleasant. The first time was a brand new set of acrylics and a pedicure.. the gentleman doing my pedicure had the water way too hot. I asked if they could be cooled off. He kept moving my feet in the positions he needed me in which was very uncomfortable. I indicated that to him, I was uncomfortable and he didn't care. My new set of acrylics got loose within 2 days it was first 2 nails. Sloppy, inconsistent, chipped before I even got out of my car and a nice hair is trapped in the gel layers. I'm sad because I was in a hurry and didn't really check before I left. At a glance it seemed fine. Driving home I felt that two of the nails didn't seem smooth. Immediately I noticed one chipped. I do t even know how or when. All I did was get in my car. Gel manicure shouldn't chip within minutes. The other one looked weird and felt strange. At first I thought it might be a bubble but close up shows it's a hair. Hopefully just a brush hair but a hair nonetheless. Overall the French tips are all different sizes and inconsistent in shape. There seems to be clear polish on the skin around several nails as well. Initially I'd gone to the place across the street who had over a 30 minute wait that I couldn't stay for. This place was not busy. I see why. I'm angry at myself for not noticing all of this before I left and making them fix it. I was in a hurry and had to be somewhere soon. It took me like 20 minutes to pick out 5 colors that complimented each other and looked good with my complexion. David helped me pick colors, brought me other colors and offered suggestions. He was very patient and they came out exactly how I wanted them. I recently went there a second time and had another great experience. I've been to other salons but I keep coming back to this one. My sister and I LOVE getting our nails done here. We've brought family and friends more times than I can remember. All because of Bebe and her fabulous technicians! We love how clean it is and how amazing our nails look after. We both usually get gel on our fingers and regular coats on the toes. My sister has done acrylics here too and they are equally amazing. All the tools come pre packaged and the water bath is lined with plastic for the pedicures. I have tried other places but nothing compares. My nails usually last 2-3 weeks or whenever I come back to get them done. Definitely worth it. They do have new technicians as a few veterans are on vacation.
