Lacquer Nails and Spa Tempe is a wonderful spot close by to the air bnb I stayed at and I will have to say that the high rated reviews do this place justice. I received a gel manicure and an essential pedicure. The great care that my technician took with both my services can only be described as "above and beyond". Unfortunately this salon was not all it was hyped to be for me. I came in as a walk in, and was a bit disappointed when other walk ins were taken before myself. I got a gel pedicure and a new set of acrylic nails, the woman who did my nails was very kind and the overall application was okay, the sides of my nails are breaking off in such an odd way that has never happened before so I'm not sure what's going on with that. The most prominent issue for me was my pedicure. Not only did she not use sterile tools, she gave me the wrong color and when I got home I noticed a crazy amount of lint in the polish??? I don't have very sensitive feet but she managed to hurt my toes pretty bad however the massage left SO much to be desired. It was almost like she was just tapping my skin. She also managed to allow gel to cure on the bottom of my toes? Not sure how. Don't think I'll be back. read more

I went in on 7/29/26 and i got a gel pedicure. I used to go to this location but then started going to the Scottsdale location because i live closer to that one now. This location used to be fine but when i went yesterday the nail tech cut my foot in two spots to the point i was bleeding. She didn't even say anything and then wiped the blood away and put it back in the water. It just felt very weird she didn't say anything after hurting me and tried to hide it like i didn't notice even after i jumped when she cut me multiple times. I'm not one to confront people, and i almost didn't leave a review but it just rubbed me the wrong way. Especially because i paid $89 (not including tip). I'm honestly just disappointed and won't be coming back to this location. Just wanted to add it's almost been a month and they did reach out and made me send pictures. Still nothing has come of this situation. Overall the whole experience has been handled poorly and i will not be returning. 8/24 read more

I went in for a basic pedicure, and the service felt rushed from start to finish. For $38, I expected much more than what was provided. The massage was very underwhelming and lasted only about three minutes, with the technician timing it closely. Although she asked if I wanted a callus treatment and I declined, the standard service itself consisted of a very quick scrub with little effort. The technician was very nice and polite, and I don't blame her personally--I assume she was following the salon's standard procedure. However, I arrived at 12:35, and by 12:50 the massage portion was already over. 12:55 painting and the pedicure done in less than 30 minutes. Just wow- i have been to many salons and always lasted 45 minutes to an hour. Such regret for selecting this salon. The overall experience felt like the bare minimum rather than a relaxing pedicure. I honestly didn't feel like tipping but felt obligated to. Very disappointing and not worth the price compare to other local one I called for $32 but they didn't have the time I wanted, especially in Arizona Btw the massage chair is not that comfortable. I'm sorry if I didn't tip much, I'm truly not satisfied . I mentioned it to the hostess, and she said it's just the basic option. I was like, "Well, even basic should meet some standard this is literally nothing." Oh well, just a lot of regret and disappointment, I guess. read more

I've never had a pedicure where there was this much polish left over on my skin. When I pointed it out at the end to the technician she proceed to grab a file and FILE MY SKIN. I asked her 4 times "please do not file my skin, it hurts" yet she just continued to do so. When she was finished she just walked away no bye, sorry I just tried to file gel polish off your skin.. nothing. Pretty disappointed. The girls at the front are very unwelcoming as well, seemed like they didn't want to be there and were inconvenienced with dirty looks because they had to check me out because I interrupted their conversation.
