I received the worst manicure that I have ever gotten at this place the other day. It was my first time here, and I don't plan to go back. My gel is uneven, over half of my nails are cured with bits of raised gunk on them, the polish ended up all over my cuticles and skin, and the lady hacked away at my nails with the file so much that my skin went raw. I was cooking with jalapeños the night I got them done, and over half of my fingers were burning due to the open sores. I want to go somewhere to fix it, but my fingers are so sore I don't want anyone touching them. This needs to be fixed if you want repeat customers. The one saving grace is John. That is why I gave this place a 2 instead of one star. Give that man a raise!! I'd come back just to get a pedicure by him. 11/10 on his pedicure. Everyone needs to get a pedicure by John. I've never had a pedicure where there was this much polish left over on my skin. When I pointed it out at the end to the technician she proceed to grab a file and FILE MY SKIN. I asked her 4 times "please do not file my skin, it hurts" yet she just continued to do so. When she was finished she just walked away no bye, sorry I just tried to file gel polish off your skin.. nothing. Pretty disappointed. The girls at the front are very unwelcoming as well, seemed like they didn't want to be there and were inconvenienced with dirty looks because they had to check me out because I interrupted their conversation. We came from out of town. My party of 4 women came in for gel pedicures. Within hours of completion one of the girls in our party had 2 toes where the gel had completely started to come off, so we went back in and they fixed her toes. That same night another of her toes had gel coming off after we had already been back in there. We flew home and now I have a toe that the gel is chipping off and it's only been 3 days. The pedicures seemed very rushed, toes weren't left under the light long enough to set properly. We felt like there was no personalization, just a huge nail salon that rushes to get you in and out as fast as they can. You're just another number to them. The girl doing my pedicure told me I cut my nails too short, and it felt like she was reprimanding me. She acted annoyed that she even had to be there or be dealing with my feet. The price is extremely high for the service you receive. I've never had a gel pedicure start chipping within 3 days. EVER. I asked for a regular pedicure with regular polish and a gel manicure. My nail tech, Anna, kept on pushing me to get a more expensive pedicure. She asked me quite a bit of times if I was getting one of the other, non-regular pedicures. I politely said I wanted a regular pedicure. Then the next thing was the nail polish discussion. I must've been asked at least 3 times if I was getting a gel pedicure. Had to reiterate that I wanted a regular polish pedicure. At this point I realize that she seemed to be annoyed that I was getting a very basic pedicure. She barely scrubbed my feet, the leg "massage" was almost laughable .. she set a timer and lightly rubbed some lotion up and down my legs (awkward). She also put the nail polish on sooo fast that I was wondering what the difference between this and a nail polish change/ express pedicure would be. I'm all for fast but this was an overpriced nail polish change honestly. She also did my gel manicure. She didn't ask what shape I wanted or how long or short I wanted my nails, she just started filing away with barely any questions. After going home and seeing the work up close. It doesn't look like my feet were scrubbed and the nail polish had bubbles (probably because of how fast she put the polish on) and there was polish on my skin. read more

I went to this salon to get long acrylic nails with black French tips. My thumbnail had bubbles, excess acrylic still hanging off the nail, and the tech never even applied a top coat during my first visit, so the paint (all ONE coat) was rubbing off just a few days later. I called and said I wanted a refund because I paid $100 just to walk out with this "quality". I went back in today, hoping to either get them actually fixed or a refund. She sanded two of my nails and added top coat to just two of my nails. Unfortunately I do not recommend this salon. I walked out almost in tears because as much as I hate complaining, this was a waste of money when all I wanted to do was treat myself a little bit. I want my money back. I went to this place a few years ago and had a great time. Well, I revisited after making an appointment for Saturday at 12. I went with a friend who was a few minutes late which I think may have irritated the front desk staff but I am not sure. The girl with the red hair was nice but the other girl seemed annoyed and short with us. When we were seated we were provided the complimentary drink, which was nice. The water was a great temperature. The tech greeted me. It was all downhill from there. Throughout my service, the tech seemed annoyed by the way I was holding my foot although I was moving them as she requested. The "massage" provided during the $95 pedicure was not a massage at all. It was her just tapping my legs with her fingertips for a few minutes. The menu said my pedicure was $80. I added an essential manicure with no polish, I just wanted a basic manicure. When I paid, my total was $120- 95 for pedicure and 25 for mani. All she did was dip my fingers in water, clip my cuticles, and put oil on my hands. I asked for clear polish 3x and she did not apply any. She cut my toe during the pedicure and tried to blame it on my toe being "tender" from clipping my cuticle then adding hot water. My toe was bleeding and sore. They talked to me and my friend in a rude tone when we declined extra add-ons. While getting my pedi, the tech asked a few times if I wanted a mani, declined. Then I told her yes, just basic, with clear polish because I usually mess up my nails quickly and I have not had a good experience with gel nails. Well, she waits until we get seated to do my mani to loudly ask in front of everyone "why don't you want gel?!" And she clipped my finger and left polish residue on my finger that was there before I got the manicure. It just was not a good experience overall, especially for the cost and for it to be a "luxury" shop. I imagine all of the 5-star reviews are a result of the offer for a discount on services that is posted in the shop. Don't be fooled. Service is subpar and vibes are not good. read more
