I had a very unpleasant experience with the management here. I cannot recommend this salon, particularly for anyone looking for a welcoming environment or service consultations. I attempted to do a walk-in for a waxing service during their early hours because their online system wouldn't allow me to book two services at the same time. While I understand I should have called first, the owner's reaction was completely unprofessional. Instead of handling the situation politely, they spoke to me in a deeply disrespectful, mocking manner. Communication from management is consistently rude and unwelcoming. If you need advice or recommendations on services, look elsewhere--they will make you feel bad for asking questions. To look at the positive side, their work has always been good, and the only reason I ever continued to use their services is because of their kind, amazing staff who do an excellent job on pedicures. However, the owners should work on their customer service and treat all their loyal customers the same way. It is further upsetting that the management responded to my google review stating its was a miscommunication and I failed to understand what they said(again making fun of my understanding clearly). That said, there clearly wasn't a miscommunication, but open disrespect. We both spoke in English, and it is not difficult to understand the word 'waxing'--it certainly did not require sign language to make me understand what was meant. I am so happy to have found this salon. It is hands down my favorite place and I have been coming here since they opened. I usually get Nelly for my mani and Tim for my pedi because they know me now and know and what I like best, but I have had other techs and they're all splendid. If you don't like something they will fix/change it and make sure it's exactly as you wish. And if you accidentally mess up a nail at home you can come back in for a quick fix w no issue. My husband and I are in AZ attending our cousin's wedding. We didn't have time to get our nails & feet done before leaving Cali so we yelped local nail shops by our hotel. Our cousin also thought this was a great place to go. We called first and Nellie (I later learned her name, the shop manager) said come in they could service us when we arrived. They started with the pedicures. My husband had a woman (who I later learned name is Micky) and I had a gentleman, the younger of the two in the shop. The gentleman told us to have a seat in our respective chairs. I asked if I could look at color, he seems a little irritated by that request, but I thought maybe that was just his personality and it was nothing. He gave me one color book. He then began doing my feet. He didn't scrape but for a quick second and I said something he did a big sigh, I then realize he was being rude. He left plenty of dead skin around my toenail and on my toes, I asked if he could get it off, he did another big sigh did a snip snip and asked if I wanted polish. I said no I didn't want polish, he said OK. Got up aggressively snatched the liner off the tub, ent into the back room, came back aggressively rolled his chair into another chair and went to the front desk and sat down. The lady Mickey, looked at my face and I said he left a lot of skin, she offered to clean it up for me. It took her about another 10 mins to clean up my feet, she did an outstanding job. Let me go back, after the guy walked off, I began was looking in yelping for another spa because I wasn't getting my nails done there. After Mickey's great customer service, I decided to stay to have her do my nails!! I love them, she did a great job. We talked about how long she's being doing nails, where I was from, how long I was in town etc. Mickey made me feel like a valued customer.. she saved the day. If it wasn't for Mickey this review would be a ONE STAR. The spa was clean and I learned they had more polish options than the one book that was given to me. The price is a little expensive. My pedicure was 49.00,. 32 for the pedi and 17.00 for gel. My fill was 60.00 (gel polish) my husband's basic pedi was 32.00. Our total was 141 and I gave Mikey a 20.00 tip. Overall I'm happy, but if they do not manage the guy they will lose business. I also just point out, Nellie, knew the man was doing my feet, but then Mickey was doing my feet. As a manager she should have approached me right away to see why things changed during the process, that's apart of being a good manager. She did ask me at checkout how was everything and I told her the guy was rude to keep and explained, she apologize. And said sometimes it happens but they have to remember some customers use Yelp. lol. I don't think she meant it like that but she was apologetic. She didn't offer me the stamp card she offered the previous 3 customers. I asked for a receipt but she couldn't give me one because I used Zelle as a form or payment, but it's a 3% charge if you don't pay with cash. read more

No worries, I went and got some tea next door for a bit. When I came back I showed them the design I wanted that I had found online and they were confident they could match it. Interior is nowhere near as fancy as Lux or Pretty Pink so if you're the type who goes to a salon for ambiance and pretty waterfalls, this is not a place for you and also, I question your priorities. Otherwise, they were quick, clean, and the end result was pretty much identical to my picture so who am I to complain? So 5/5 for cleanliness and comfy chairs for foot massages. But they lose stars and a client in me bc literally they never are on time for appts or if you ask for a specific person, they don't always honor it. I had three times in a row the person I asked for wasn't available (she clearly took a walk in instead of making the walk in wait bc I had an appt) or I got there and was told I needed to wait between 15-30 min. So I won't be going back bc I am particular about my nails, I want the person I want, and I def don't have time to wait around. But if those things don't matter to you it's def a great place otherwise. Last thing is the manager insists all the techs are the same and all good, not true. Some have given really sub par manicures with rough edges. My mom had enough mediocre experiences getting random techs that weren't great that she won't go back. Too bad! read more

Best pedicure I've had in a long time! They are very detailed and provide truly quality results. The place inside is pretty basic, no frills. Don't go for the ambiance, it also kind of smells like food from the restaurants in the same strip, but definitely no harsh acrylic smell either. Another client came in and the lady who was doing my friend's was asking my tech to do the other client. She then came to polish my toes.... then my tech then finish my friend's. My pedicure felt sooo rushed. Lucy Nails Spa has earned one star only due to the older male that gave me a pedicure. The issue is that he coughed the first time without covering his mouth directly onto my feet. I moved my feet away quickly and then he proceeded to cough again this time he turned his head to the left. I addressed the issue; he nodded his head as I advised him how unacceptable & unsanitary it was. he spoke very good English which is not the issue here. (No mask) He had another man apply the nail polish onto my feet. at that point, I stayed because I was under the impression that the 2nd man was taking over. No such luck! The nasty guy completed working on my feet for a few more minutes no coughing this time. In this day and age, it is 1000% unacceptable to be unsanitary no matter the industry. I brought this to the attention of the 'managers' which may have been the married owners. the woman responded to me with: 'Oh, he smokes" no apology, nothing to take action with the man that had a cough fest at the expense of my health and the health of the other patrons. FYI: There is a 1.6% charge for using a debit or credit card at this establishment. Needless to say, they have lost my business and I left no tip. The person that came with me was appalled and stated that she will never return as well. (so I guess the punch card that she was given will not be used). I will contact the health department and file a complaint regarding my experience. With nail salons in every strip mall, I am sure that there are technicians out there that can provide service without spreading germs. read more
