She was filing my nails and not even looking, so the file was scraping skin and not even touching my nails. She was basically pretending to do each step, if that makes sense? Every single step from filing my nails, clipping my cuticles, buffing- every single thing was painful and done sloppily and carelessly. The paint job was just as horrific. Paint all over my skin. When I asked her to clean up a few areas, she got an attitude with me! Additionally, I couldn't decide on a color. She had handed me one sample kit to choose from and said "this is all we have", after I couldn't find one I liked, she got up irritated and shoved another one on my lap and said, there's more in this one. So, there were more colors..? The whole experience was just awful, she hated her job and makes sure you know it. With two horrible coats of paint and one top layer, the pedicure is dull and awful looking and will chip off soon. I was going to get a manicure and I just said never mind. Really really unhappy with how I was treated here. Never coming back!

Based on that, I trusted her recommendation and agreed to the fill in for $75. When she finished, I noticed the back side of my nails was still yellow. When I asked about it, she said there was nothing she could do. I asked if she could paint it red, and she said that would be an additional $20. As a professional, she should have clearly explained this before starting. She could have said, "If you do a fill, the back side will still show yellow. I recommend a new set because if you want the back painted to match, it'll be $20 more, so you might as well go with the new set." That's what honest customer service looks like. Instead, I was left with an upsell after the fact and nails that still show yellow underneath, even after paying $155 total with design and pedicure. The front looks decent, but the lack of transparency was disappointing. It's clear they cared more about money than customer satisfaction. After eight years of consistently great service with my nail tech out of state , this experience in Arizona was frustrating and unprofessional. The manager said next time we will do a full set but I won't be returning and don't recommend this salon to anyone who values integrity, honesty, or attention to detail.
