I explained that I'm a little rough with my hands and prefer my nails to be a bit thicker, and they really listened and accommodated exactly what I asked for. So far, I'm happy with the experience! I was a tad hesitant when told the basic pedicure is $35.00, but there was no wait so I went with it. While sitting in the chair I opted for the first upgrade from the basic service, the Deluxe Pedicure for $50. It was quite nice and very relaxing. I almost could have dozed off for a few. The treatment was precise and gentle where required, firm but not rough or aggressive with salt scrub, massaging, or hot rock application. Definitely deserving of more than the suggested 20% tip that pops up on the screen when checking out. And my nails look perfect. Of course the color selection was my touch so of course I love that. Felt good getting a little pampering. I was long overdue. There was little to no conversation, but I was preoccupied with catching up on social media so I wasn't bothered by this. Finally, a nice little Bonus. Was gifted some Bare Soak silky butter lotion 100ml since this was my first time here.

I found myself in Chandler with some time to kill, so I thought why not look for a salon who can take me in today? I did a quick Yelp search and called a few places that offered hair tinsel. Salon Terrene was the only one who had availability that day as well as great pricing so I booked an appointment! They were able to squeeze me in as their last client. The salon is cozy, warm, and welcoming. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Once in the chair, they showed me all their available colors, which they had a ton of. I chose a deep pink shade and about 10 or so tinsels. The hair stylist was very thorough and carefully attached the tinsel strands one at a time. I was in the chair for no more than 30 minutes! The tinsels lasted a little over a month. Most of them fell out within a month or less and some faded over time, both of which are normal, so I definitely recommend getting at least 10 strands!

I have become so annoyed and telling others how lazy Asians have gotten. There use to be a time where if I broke one nail-I could go get it fixed easily. Now- today-It took me FOUR salons until the last one fixed my broken nail! The others turned me away because it was not enough money for them! And the fourth salon did a crappy job! It is frustrating paying $130-$150 on nails and not being completely satisfied!!! So I decided to cut all my nails off short-took off all polish -ordered me a nail kit to do my own nails!
