Ask the Community - Killer Nailz

How much is sns full set?

I offer gel polish manicures and acrylic nails, the dip system isnt something I carry but a strengthening gel polish can be easily incorporated in a gel polish service.

How much is nude acrylic nail full set?

Full sets start at $55 for short to medium with a nude acrylic of your choice and includes a gel top coat.

A couple more questions. Can you accommodate more than 1 person at a time? I use a mobility scooter and it's difficult for me to get in and out of chairs for waxing and pedicures. Can you accommodate me?

Being in a suite I only have 105 sq ft to work with, one extra person can be sat inside my suite in another chair and I believe a mobility scooter could fit in a corner of my room as well

What is your price for pedicures and brow waxing?

Facial waxing is $10 per area lip, chin, or brow. Express pedicures are $30 for 30-45 minutes and Spa pedicures are $45 for about 1 hour

Do you do pedicures and eyebrow waxing?

Yes I offer facial waxing, spa pedicure and Express pedicures by appointment

How much for gel acrylic?

My sculptured acrylic full sets are $55 A 2 week rebalance is $45 A gel polish manicure is $35

After it was all said and done I see why Chloe is the "go-to". Chloe has some really good designing skills. On top of that my friend hadn't gotten a mani in almost 8 weeks and her nails were holding strong, none broken!! Now that's quality nails!! The pedi chair was higher off the ground, so you really get to feel like a King/Queen. I really liked that Mia scrubbed my feet with the grater thing. The other places never do it. My pedicure was very relaxing, I really enjoyed the leg and foot massage Mia gave me! The massage chair wasn't half bad either! At the end I decided to get a clear coat on my toes! These ladies were very kind, and Chloe can definitely hold a conversation. My pedicure finished before my friend's Mani, I just relaxed in the chair and admired the awesome looking room! When the Mani was done, I was blown away with the design and effort put into her nails! Top notch nail artist!! The price for us both was very reasonable, actually cheaper than the place I was going to bring us! Definitely will consider coming back when I'm due for another Pedicure! The location has moved to 6601 S Rural rd in Tempe, AZ.

They…read moreeven required me to put my credit card on file in case I didn't show up, which would be fine if the quality matched the policy but it definitely didn't. I had an appointment and still waited about 30 minutes before being taken back. Mia did my nails, and while she was nice, the builder gel set came out super thick and uneven. Definitely not worth the $90 price tag. After my fiancé encouraged me to call and ask for a fix, the salon was very sweet about it and told me to come back, which I appreciated. But when I returned, I waited another 30 minutes before being seen, and the atmosphere was just uncomfortable and silent. Chloe seemed to know what she was doing, but unfortunately, Mia didn't seem as experienced. Within two days, my nails started lifting, and I ended up taking them off myself. I basically spent $90 for a set I couldn't even keep on. For a salon that requires a card on file and charges premium prices, the quality and service just didn't match.

The same man who greeted me then came back and asked what I wanted and why I was there, which was confusing and unprofessional. When the pedicure finally started, the nail tech cut me twice, badly enough that I was bleeding and she had to apply pressure for a while to stop it. I was also nicked several other times on both feet. It was painful and careless. When it was time for polish, I still had the moisturizing mask on with towels wrapped around my legs. The tech told me she would be back and that someone else would do the polish. After the second tech finished painting my toes, she left. I waited about 15 minutes for my polish to dry, assuming the original tech would return to remove the mask and towels--but she didn't. Instead, I saw her start a brand-new pedicure on another customer. I ended up wiping off the mask myself, paid my bill, and left. I skipped the gel manicure entirely and did not leave a tip. I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't go.

On January 6, I went to Anna's Nails in Tempe, and this was without a doubt the most upsetting nail…read moreexperience I have ever had. I originally went in asking for acrylic nails. While seated, I asked Michelle the nail tech who was going to be doing my nails what service would last 3-4 weeks because I needed something strong and durable. I was told that Gel X was very strong and was recommended to me, so I trusted their professional opinion. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 years old. I know what quality work looks like, and I know when something is done wrong. These nails were completely unacceptable. I asked for short almond-shaped nails, red with sparkles. What I received was: * Uneven, sloppy shaping -- some nails look almond, others have straight, blunt edges * Nails that are completely flat, with no apex or structure at all * Bumpy, uneven surfaces * Nails that were not properly cured -- the tech repeatedly pulled my nails out early during curing Less than 48 hours later, my nails began peeling and lifting. I work an office job, I'm not rough with my hands. * Two nails are peeling * One nail is already coming off I paid $60 for this set and still tipped $10, totaling $70, for work that didn't even last two days. I was visiting family, and my cousin and I went to this salon together. This is not my local nail salon, and I live 40 minutes away, making it difficult to just "stop by" for fixes. Because I was so upset and disappointed, I called the salon. I asked to speak with the owner and was initially told the owner was not available. I calmly explained the entire situation and asked for either a refund or a full new set, preferably not Gel X, since it was clearly not done correctly and I've had much better results with acrylic in the past. I was told they do not give refunds, which I accepted. I then asked if I could come in for a full new set. I was told I could only come in to fix two nails, despite the entire set being poorly done. I explained again that I live 40 minutes away and was only in the area visiting family, so driving back just to fix two nails was not reasonable. I asked again for a full new set using a different service. She refused. After several minutes of going back and forth, I stated that I would be leaving a review and would not be returning. Instead of handling this professionally, she told me that people like me ruin her business, that she has family to feed and bills to pay. That comment crossed a line. I told her that I also have family and bills, and I paid for a service that was not done properly. She continued talking over me and accusing me of ruining her business. At one point, I asked if I could leave my number so the owner could contact me. Only then did she admit that she was the owner, after previously telling me she wasn't. We ended the call with me stating I would be leaving a review and wouldn't be returning. She later called me back. The same conversation happened all over again. I told her the only day I could come in was Monday, but she refused to guarantee that she would redo the full set. I made it clear I was not driving 40 minutes without that guarantee. She continued talking over me. At that point, I clearly stated that I would be leaving a review and would not be coming back, and I hung up. This entire experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and emotionally exhausting. The quality of the nails was bad, but the way I was spoken to as a paying customer was worse. I will never return to this salon, and I strongly encourage others to think twice before coming.

I never tried threading, but then again, I never lived in Tempe, so I thought, While I've got a trend of doing new things going on, why not try out this threading business? Well, let me tell you: threading/Rambha is AWESOME. It's such a strange feeling for first-timers, but it doesn't hurt, and it's so much less mess and less fuss than waxing. I went to get my brows and upper lip threaded, and the result was a great look minus the pain, minus the remaining sticky residue, and plus the rest of my day to go out to enjoy instead of hiding out to shield society from having to be alarmed by my red, swollen face. The only downside from my experience was that Rambha answered a phone call during my session and proceeded to converse for the next 5-10-ish minutes while leaving me to just hang out. I thought that was kind of unprofessional, but it wasn't a deal breaker cuz I'll be back. Plus, if going back means the possibility of seeing this guy I saw there in his two-sided puss n' boots t-shirt again, I'm so there. Note: Rambha only takes cash or check, but she prefers cash (who doesn't?). Once you enter the salon, be sure to walk down the hallway to the left because that's where Rambha's little section sits. You can try to follow the instructions upon walking into the salon by using the electronic registering service, but I did, and it did nothing. I just waited until Rambha came out to get coffee and just happened to ask if I was waiting for something. If you want some prices for threading, here you go: Eyebrows: $12 Upper Lip: $8 Forehead: $5 Chin: $8 Side: $10 Full Face: $40
