The BEST nail place that I have been to for a pedicure! Jovy is my girl! She is so thorough with the cleaning and shaping and everything that comes with the pedicure. I never have to ask for things twice as far as design yet she makes sure its to liking. She is amazing! The salon is super clean as well a great vibe overall. read more

I stopped using this salon 6 months ago. I had been a patron for 4+ years). The manager had left and it seemed most of the experienced staff also left. The new nail techs were not very skilled, could not seem to understand what I asked for (nail shape, more gentle handling as I have very thin nails, etc). I came away with even thinner nail beds due to rough removal of dip nails, very thick application of nail finish, rough edges, nicked cuticles, etc. read more

Met a friend for pedicures here and had a very pleasant experience. They had a ton of polishes to choose from, were very clean, and did a great job in the pedicure. They were gentle but got all of my calluses off, the massage was great, and despite breaking both my big toe nails pretty short, they were able to file them into a decent shape without hurting my toes. Only downsides were my massage chair didn't work and even though no one ended up on the chair on the other side of my friend, they never offered to switch my chair and my girl took a while to come over so my water got cold by the time she started on my pedicure. read more

My wife went and tried this place for the first time since her favorite place didn't survive the pandemic. Here's her thoughts about her first visit: First impressions are everything and Kens didn't disappoint. I was greeted immediately and had no wait for my pedicure. After picking a couple of colors I was shown to my chair and the lady got started. I haven't had my nails done in over 2years so I went with the deluxe and I did not regret the extra pampering! I like that she set a timer so I knew I wasn't being short changed on the massage time. She tested my colors so I could finalize my choice without any complaint. It appeared very clean and watching how they sanitized after another person who left when I go there I didn't feel at risk for anything. The tools were in a sealed packet and what could be disposable was. I definitely plan to be back in a few months! read more

Service was amazing, each person gave me patience and assistance when I was trying to decide on a color/style for my nails. I appreciated their honesty and help, each person was kind. I will definitely be back because on top of the comfortable environment they created, I was so happy with how my nails turned out it was exactly what I wanted!! read more

Love this place. I will never go anywhere else. My nails always come out flawless and for a fair price. I have never gotten a bad set done. Ever single employee is kind and welcoming. It is relaxing and I love watching the home renovation shows they have on the tvs. All of my friends have started going and everyone loves this place. read more

Got my nails done by Henry. He is the best. I never have any complaints with my nails. He does such a good job. Highly recommend.

Like I said , new staff.... You can see my old set underneath. They look yellow and gross and these nails were off within a week. I asked to make the French tip color go alittle higher and they told me they couldn't. I wanted the color to cover my natural nail. And the manger comes over "just paint the whole nail" and I said "no I don't want that. I've been getting French tips for two years. I've never had a problem. I didn't care I could see my old set but they could have cleaned it up nicer by the cuticle. They've done it before he was just rushing. read more

I have been to this salon twice now as of today. I called to make an appointment same day and was helped right away upon my appointment time. I worked with Kelly and she was amazing. I did a dip manicure with gel French tip and the milk and honey pedicure. Kelly was very patient and took her time on my nails even when they were busy. I was there for 2 hours and for my manicure and pedicure it was $100. I feel like compared to other nail salons that price is great. I felt like I was taken care of so well- I will definitely be returning to work with Kelly again. read more

Unfortunately after today, I will never go back. Which is really sad because I have gone to Ken's for many years including for my wedding manicure and pedicure almost 5 years ago. I went in for a manicure & pedicure. I rarely get manicures nowadays because I do my own finger nails, but still go to Ken's every month for a pedicure. Maybe once every six months I like to go for a manicure to have my cuticles removed and just put clear or pink polish on. After removing about 90-95% of the polish I had on my fingers. You can see photos where you can see my old glitter polish underneath all of the smudged light pink polish. She started trimming my cuticles and on the first nail cut me so badly, I have still not stopped bleeding an hour later. She continued to work on my other nails periodically, putting some type of solution with a very fibrous cotton ball on my nail, and at one point used the dirty water my hands had been soaking in to then wipe off some of the blood. I told her I had to wash my hands because I am pregnant and don't want to get an infection. She insisted on finishing what she was doing for another 5-10 minutes. When I finally could wash my hands, I was gushing blood and asked for a Band-Aid which the only person that could supply was another customer. Thank you to that kind stranger. When I went back to her chair, she kept trying to paint the nail she had cut that was mostly blocked by a Band-Aid. I told her just to skip the pinkie 3 times, as I was ready to leave, and it still had a glitter all over the nail anyway. She quickly painted the rest of my nails, skipping all the nice steps of getting a manicure, like thoroughly removing cuticles and massaging your arms and hands. She wanted to take me to get a pedicure as I had booked previously. I politely told her no thank you I was going to skip it, so I could go home to clean and sanitize my hands, as I don't want to get an infection I am pregnant. So after a few minutes she said my nails were dry (obviously they weren't dry). Which I understand she was probably also nervous and stressed since she cut me so badly, my finger wouldn't stop bleeding, and just wanted this to end too. And please know at no point was I ever yelling, being mean, or rude to any employees (and I do not condone or encourage that for this or any place of business). Anyways, I assumed she was insisting on finishing this partial manicure because she felt bad, and they would send me on my way. When I went to check out the owner or whoever checked me out asked if I was going to get my pedicure still. I said no thank you, and again repeated what they were all probably tired of hearing me saying.. she cut me so badly I need to go home and wash and sanitize my hands, because I'm pregnant and I don't want to get an infection. I was then charged the $20 for a manicure: that did not take off my original nail polish all the way, there was no hand & arm massage, I still have all my cuticles on all fingers, my one finger that is still currently bleeding, the ends of all my nails are rough and jagged, I'm picking off the cotton from the remover still from my nails (you can see this in photos too), and of course, it's a smudged mess on the 9 of 10 nails that were painted so I now just need to take it off. I completely understand accidents happen, I have had this same employee cut one of my toes on my last two of three pedicures with her. I haven't complained and I paid/tipped. ... perhaps that should've been my sign not to let her do my hands. I actually would've kept coming back because I've been here for so many years, and they're only a half a mile from my house. But how do you charge someone for an unfinished manicure, where they leave bleeding? Thank you for listening to my TED talk, I now need to go change my Band-Aid again. read more

I am torn between three and four stars for this nail salon. They are very professional, everything is clean and neat and organized, and they have a lot of selections in terms of polish colors. However, I have been there twice recently, and both times, the quality of my pedicure is not what I would prefer. the first time I went, nails were different links, and different shapes. The second time I went, it was very difficult to communicate with my technician, and I could tell my polish had not dried, even though I was there for quite a while. I left before I even got home, the pedicure was ruined. I did go back, and they offered to fix it, but they kept me waiting, and I did not have time. I would probably go back here again, but I have one or two other salons that I prefer. read more

The quality here is unsurpassed!! I usually go to Shayna's Nail Salon and was recommended by a friend to go here and they have shown me soooo much more improvement and better quality than Shayna's. They have shown me that Shayna's was basically half a$$ing my nails because they're always so busy. Which is why my nails were always lifting and chipping. I will never go back to Shayna's after going here! They are THE BEST!! Also, so much more friendly and welcoming and explaining everything. read more

I've never been more humiliated! Wednesday 3/1/23, I went in for a fill. The man explained I had to pay for a full set due to my thin overlay lifting off my natural nails. I didn't have a problem. I explained before he started I wanted a very thin acrylic overlay. He ended up putting a very thick overlay with acrylic under my nail and stuck to my skin. I again explained what I wanted. He explained he need to file. He continued to disregard my concerns. I decided I would leave without finishing. The manager, I believe came over and tried to assist, but instead pointed out I am always a problem. He further stated I've been there at least 10 times causing a problem. I explained, wanting my nails a certain way shouldn't make me a problem! I am paying for a service! He continued to insult how I'd did not want my nails all the same shape. He then explained I have a lot of acrylic because my nail bases were uneven. I told him they were not. He continued to interrupt me until I broke into tears. Another customer explained he needed to stop interrupting me so I could explain! Thanks so much! I don't know your name. I asked him to soak the acrylic off and he will see my nails are fine! He told me; if he soaked off the acrylic he will not do them again and I can go elsewhere! Sarah agreed to do my nails exactly how I wanted! They came out great! They were thin and beautiful! Thank you Sarah! The man never apologized or accepted his wrong. Instead he had Sarah check me out. He couldn't even face me! If Sarah was the only one working, I would go back! I would never treat anyone that way! read more

I came in for a fill/pedi/eyebrow wax as a last minute plan. So I purposely arrived at opening time as a walk in and was seated to a spa chair right away. Hanna did my pedi and she was the sweetest. Asked me twice to confirm that I didn't want matching colors on nails and toes. She had the experience so relaxing. After the pedi, she directed me to the mani section. Nathan did my fill and he was amazing. He was so nice and did a great job. After the fill, he directed me to the room for the eye brow wax. I didn't catch the name of the lady who did my wax but I wasn't as satisfied with the wax as I was w my pedi and fill. I have a scar on my left eyebrow and I asked her to keep the tail on the end of it longer so it doesn't look too short and I don't think she understood me bc my eye brows came out shorter than I would have liked. The total $ spent was higher than I had expected. I had thought the fill and wax was going to be lower. The shorted one star is partially from the eye brow wax and partially for the higher than expected price. I would still come back though, at least for Hanna and Nathan. read more

This would be a 5 star review if they would have social distanced their manicure stations. This was my first experience here. The salon is well maintained, exceptionally c The technicians and front desk staff were all very nice. The quality of work is a 8.5 out of 10. I had a pedicure #3 and a mini manicure. The massage was a little on the light side, but it was still acceptable. She forgot to clean under my finger nails. I would come back if I was able to sit 6' away from another customer. Thank you. read more

Disappointed in the service I received (and DIDN'T receive) recently. I wanted to take my Dad here for a pedicure so I made a 330pm appointment on a Sunday. We arrived at 325pm and were told it would be 10-15 minute wait. OK, that's fine. 15 minutes go by and I flag down one of the nail techs (because there was noone sitting at reception for me to ask) and ask him how much longer we'd have to wait. He told us to wait a second, walked away, then came back and took us to the pedicure area. We sat down in the massage chairs and put our feet in the running water. The nail tech went back to his client he was working on. Another 15 minutes go by, and there's been no sign of anyone coming to work on our feet. At this point, we've been waiting 30 minutes. I feel like this delay is unacceptable because we made appointments for the pedicures. I understand having to wait if you're a walk-in client, but if you've scheduled an appointment, there's no excuse for a 30 minute wait. My Dad had dinner plans at 5pm so we couldn't wait any longer to start the pedicure. I grabbed some towels and we dried our feet off and walked towards the door. At that point, a woman tried to stop us from leaving but we told her we had already waited 30 minutes and couldn't waste anymore time. I don't think I'll ever come back here. The facility itself is really nice and all the other Yelp reviews look good, but my time is valuable and there are many other nail salons in the Valley with better service. read more

I really wanted to put 5 stars. For the last several times I have come, the pedicures and manicures have been exceptional. I do SNS and gel. The customer service is amazing and the ambience is fancy. I've been going to Ken Nails since they opened (several years). They now have so much turnover on the nail techs you never know who you're going to get. Ken Nails & Spa - SNS mani - Nail Technicians Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

I got a pedicure with "Tommy" and my feet/heels look worse than before I got there. He started doing bottom of feet/callus work and stopped after a few seconds which made it worse. And the polish was smudged all over the top of my big toes (which I cleaned up when I got home because I didn't notice). He was done in 25 min ($30 + $6 tip). Pretty expensive for a short, below average job. They want you to pick more expensive pkg OR combo pedi/mani, and it's not right to get poor service when you don't. I HAVE had good pedi's there, but not this time. read more

I love Henry I'm so glad i was referred to him. I do not go to anyone else for my hands. Last time i did and you say hi to Henry one of the girls was mocking me as i said hello to him while she was working on my nails. When ever she did my nails (SNS powder) they chipped at least 3 times in less than 2 weeks when they normally last me 3 weeks when Henry does them. So after all of that i will never go to anyone but Henry when it comes to my hands. You can easily hide your feet but not your hands. read more

Second time coming here and although the work they do is good , they don't respect people's appointment time. I had an appointment at 5pm when I got there I was waiting and a lady sitting next to me said she was waiting too and her appointment was at 4:15 and she had not been seen yet. I had to leave and made another appt for next day since they looked like they were very busy. Next day I showed up for my 12:30pm pedicure/ manicure appt and I waited 20 min before I had to tell them I needed to leave by a certain time . Around 12:55pm someone started doing my nails then Henry came to ask her to go do someone's eyebrows. I think it is extremely rude to leave a client half nails done to go do another job . I am glad this place is busy but please respect people appointment times and don't overbooked yourself. Seems like an extremely unorganized nail salon read more

I've been coming here for about 6 mos because it's right by my hair stylist's location. It's a clean, calming, visually appealing nail salon with crystal chandeliers, relaxing music, sounds of the beach and waves, daytime TV on mute with subtitles to zone out to, 16 massage chairs, orange peel foot soak, and they always offer cold bottled water. I never make an apt and luckily they've always gotten me seated quickly for a spa pedicure. I see women doing gel pedicures there too. They have a punch card, so loyalty will get you perks, and there prices are reasonable. I would recommend it to anyone searching for a spa pedicure or manicure home. read more

New favorite nail salon! This salon was perfection. My sister and I found this place searching online as they were open on Black Friday. The staff is incredible- extremely nice and attentive, offering coffee and drinks upon arrival. My sister is not able to control her left hand. The manicurist was able to do her manicure without question and listened to exactly what she needed without seeming overwhelmed at all. I had a pedicure/manicure with Mia who was also excellent. Prices are reasonable and salon is clean. We both walked out and immediately said were coming back. Great experience. read more
