My wife went and tried this place for the first time since her favorite place didn't survive the pandemic. Here's her thoughts about her first visit: First impressions are everything and Kens didn't disappoint. I was greeted immediately and had no wait for my pedicure. After picking a couple of colors I was shown to my chair and the lady got started. I haven't had my nails done in over 2years so I went with the deluxe and I did not regret the extra pampering! I like that she set a timer so I knew I wasn't being short changed on the massage time. She tested my colors so I could finalize my choice without any complaint. It appeared very clean and watching how they sanitized after another person who left when I go there I didn't feel at risk for anything. The tools were in a sealed packet and what could be disposable was. I definitely plan to be back in a few months!

Like I said , new staff.... You can see my old set underneath. They look yellow and gross and these nails were off within a week. I asked to make the French tip color go alittle higher and they told me they couldn't. I wanted the color to cover my natural nail. And the manger comes over "just paint the whole nail" and I said "no I don't want that. I've been getting French tips for two years. I've never had a problem. I didn't care I could see my old set but they could have cleaned it up nicer by the cuticle. They've done it before he was just rushing.

I have been to this salon twice now as of today. I called to make an appointment same day and was helped right away upon my appointment time. I worked with Kelly and she was amazing. I did a dip manicure with gel French tip and the milk and honey pedicure. Kelly was very patient and took her time on my nails even when they were busy. I was there for 2 hours and for my manicure and pedicure it was $100. I feel like compared to other nail salons that price is great. I felt like I was taken care of so well- I will definitely be returning to work with Kelly again.

Unfortunately after today, I will never go back. Which is really sad because I have gone to Ken's for many years including for my wedding manicure and pedicure almost 5 years ago. I went in for a manicure & pedicure. I rarely get manicures nowadays because I do my own finger nails, but still go to Ken's every month for a pedicure. Maybe once every six months I like to go for a manicure to have my cuticles removed and just put clear or pink polish on. After removing about 90-95% of the polish I had on my fingers. You can see photos where you can see my old glitter polish underneath all of the smudged light pink polish. She started trimming my cuticles and on the first nail cut me so badly, I have still not stopped bleeding an hour later. She continued to work on my other nails periodically, putting some type of solution with a very fibrous cotton ball on my nail, and at one point used the dirty water my hands had been soaking in to then wipe off some of the blood. I told her I had to wash my hands because I am pregnant and don't want to get an infection. She insisted on finishing what she was doing for another 5-10 minutes. When I finally could wash my hands, I was gushing blood and asked for a Band-Aid which the only person that could supply was another customer. Thank you to that kind stranger. When I went back to her chair, she kept trying to paint the nail she had cut that was mostly blocked by a Band-Aid. I told her just to skip the pinkie 3 times, as I was ready to leave, and it still had a glitter all over the nail anyway. She quickly painted the rest of my nails, skipping all the nice steps of getting a manicure, like thoroughly removing cuticles and massaging your arms and hands. She wanted to take me to get a pedicure as I had booked previously. I politely told her no thank you I was going to skip it, so I could go home to clean and sanitize my hands, as I don't want to get an infection I am pregnant. So after a few minutes she said my nails were dry (obviously they weren't dry). Which I understand she was probably also nervous and stressed since she cut me so badly, my finger wouldn't stop bleeding, and just wanted this to end too. And please know at no point was I ever yelling, being mean, or rude to any employees (and I do not condone or encourage that for this or any place of business). Anyways, I assumed she was insisting on finishing this partial manicure because she felt bad, and they would send me on my way. When I went to check out the owner or whoever checked me out asked if I was going to get my pedicure still. I said no thank you, and again repeated what they were all probably tired of hearing me saying.. she cut me so badly I need to go home and wash and sanitize my hands, because I'm pregnant and I don't want to get an infection. I was then charged the $20 for a manicure: that did not take off my original nail polish all the way, there was no hand & arm massage, I still have all my cuticles on all fingers, my one finger that is still currently bleeding, the ends of all my nails are rough and jagged, I'm picking off the cotton from the remover still from my nails (you can see this in photos too), and of course, it's a smudged mess on the 9 of 10 nails that were painted so I now just need to take it off. I completely understand accidents happen, I have had this same employee cut one of my toes on my last two of three pedicures with her. I haven't complained and I paid/tipped. ... perhaps that should've been my sign not to let her do my hands. I actually would've kept coming back because I've been here for so many years, and they're only a half a mile from my house. But how do you charge someone for an unfinished manicure, where they leave bleeding? Thank you for listening to my TED talk, I now need to go change my Band-Aid again.

I have been coming here for over a year now, Henry and Ken are the only ones I like to do my nails at this location as I am picky about shaping and painting quality. The prices are a little higher than competitors but worth it when I get serviced by the 2 I gentlemen I mentioned before!

I asked for brown with pearl chrome and got this... I had to get them redone somewhere else right after

Really nice service and reasonable pricing. I am always happy whenever I walk out of the shop

I get my nails done here almost every month and I love it! They make me feel comfortable and everyone does amazing on my nails. All of these nails are dip.

Looked online for a great nail salon and this place popped. It's located in a plaza and very well maintained! Place is spotless and very friendly staff. I had a young lady name Minh do my gel manicure. I couldn't pick a color to go with and the staff there offer to help me look for a color that I would like. This experience really went above my expectation. Not only that but I had my sister and her 2 kids with us. They made sure the lil ones were also taken care of and super attentive. Thank you so much Kens Nail & Spa for the wonderful customer service!

After it was all said and done I see why Chloe is the "go-to". Chloe has some really good designing skills. On top of that my friend hadn't gotten a mani in almost 8 weeks and her nails were holding strong, none broken!! Now that's quality nails!! The pedi chair was higher off the ground, so you really get to feel like a King/Queen. I really liked that Mia scrubbed my feet with the grater thing. The other places never do it. My pedicure was very relaxing, I really enjoyed the leg and foot massage Mia gave me! The massage chair wasn't half bad either! At the end I decided to get a clear coat on my toes! These ladies were very kind, and Chloe can definitely hold a conversation. My pedicure finished before my friend's Mani, I just relaxed in the chair and admired the awesome looking room! When the Mani was done, I was blown away with the design and effort put into her nails! Top notch nail artist!! The price for us both was very reasonable, actually cheaper than the place I was going to bring us! Definitely will consider coming back when I'm due for another Pedicure! I had an appointment and still waited about 30 minutes before being taken back. Mia did my nails, and while she was nice, the builder gel set came out super thick and uneven. Definitely not worth the $90 price tag. After my fiancé encouraged me to call and ask for a fix, the salon was very sweet about it and told me to come back, which I appreciated. But when I returned, I waited another 30 minutes before being seen, and the atmosphere was just uncomfortable and silent. Chloe seemed to know what she was doing, but unfortunately, Mia didn't seem as experienced. Within two days, my nails started lifting, and I ended up taking them off myself. I basically spent $90 for a set I couldn't even keep on. For a salon that requires a card on file and charges premium prices, the quality and service just didn't match.

The same man who greeted me then came back and asked what I wanted and why I was there, which was confusing and unprofessional. When the pedicure finally started, the nail tech cut me twice, badly enough that I was bleeding and she had to apply pressure for a while to stop it. I was also nicked several other times on both feet. It was painful and careless. When it was time for polish, I still had the moisturizing mask on with towels wrapped around my legs. The tech told me she would be back and that someone else would do the polish. After the second tech finished painting my toes, she left. I waited about 15 minutes for my polish to dry, assuming the original tech would return to remove the mask and towels--but she didn't. Instead, I saw her start a brand-new pedicure on another customer. I ended up wiping off the mask myself, paid my bill, and left. I skipped the gel manicure entirely and did not leave a tip. I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't go.

While seated, I asked Michelle the nail tech who was going to be doing my nails what service would last 3-4 weeks because I needed something strong and durable. I was told that Gel X was very strong and was recommended to me, so I trusted their professional opinion. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 years old. I know what quality work looks like, and I know when something is done wrong. These nails were completely unacceptable. I asked for short almond-shaped nails, red with sparkles. What I received was: * Uneven, sloppy shaping -- some nails look almond, others have straight, blunt edges * Nails that are completely flat, with no apex or structure at all * Bumpy, uneven surfaces * Nails that were not properly cured -- the tech repeatedly pulled my nails out early during curing Less than 48 hours later, my nails began peeling and lifting. I work an office job, I'm not rough with my hands. * Two nails are peeling * One nail is already coming off I paid $60 for this set and still tipped $10, totaling $70, for work that didn't even last two days. I was visiting family, and my cousin and I went to this salon together. This is not my local nail salon, and I live 40 minutes away, making it difficult to just "stop by" for fixes. Because I was so upset and disappointed, I called the salon. I asked to speak with the owner and was initially told the owner was not available. I calmly explained the entire situation and asked for either a refund or a full new set, preferably not Gel X, since it was clearly not done correctly and I've had much better results with acrylic in the past. I was told they do not give refunds, which I accepted. I then asked if I could come in for a full new set. I was told I could only come in to fix two nails, despite the entire set being poorly done. I explained again that I live 40 minutes away and was only in the area visiting family, so driving back just to fix two nails was not reasonable. I asked again for a full new set using a different service. She refused. After several minutes of going back and forth, I stated that I would be leaving a review and would not be returning. Instead of handling this professionally, she told me that people like me ruin her business, that she has family to feed and bills to pay. That comment crossed a line. I told her that I also have family and bills, and I paid for a service that was not done properly. She continued talking over me and accusing me of ruining her business. At one point, I asked if I could leave my number so the owner could contact me. Only then did she admit that she was the owner, after previously telling me she wasn't. We ended the call with me stating I would be leaving a review and wouldn't be returning. She later called me back. The same conversation happened all over again. I told her the only day I could come in was Monday, but she refused to guarantee that she would redo the full set. I made it clear I was not driving 40 minutes without that guarantee. She continued talking over me. At that point, I clearly stated that I would be leaving a review and would not be coming back, and I hung up. This entire experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and emotionally exhausting. The quality of the nails was bad, but the way I was spoken to as a paying customer was worse. I will never return to this salon, and I strongly encourage others to think twice before coming.

I went to get my brows and upper lip threaded, and the result was a great look minus the pain, minus the remaining sticky residue, and plus the rest of my day to go out to enjoy instead of hiding out to shield society from having to be alarmed by my red, swollen face. The only downside from my experience was that Rambha answered a phone call during my session and proceeded to converse for the next 5-10-ish minutes while leaving me to just hang out.
