I love this place. It's definitely pricier than other nail salons, but it's worth it. The only caveat is that the gym parking lot is always full so it's difficult to find a parking spot, but that is super minor in comparison to the quality and the service you receive at the nail salon! David did my nails today and they are perfect. He was detailed, precise and thorough to make sure the French tip was perfect. I've been coming here for years on and off, but more consistently lately--and I couldn't be happier with the service. Personally, I love Quinn and Thi for pedicures, and Jessica is my go-to for my structure/hard gel manicures. Friends I've referred here rave about Amy, and honestly, everyone seems to have a great experience no matter which staff member they see. You can call to book, but I usually just message them on Instagram. They respond quickly and remember faces and names, which makes you feel genuinely welcomed as a returning guest. I'm giving 4/5 stars only because they do tend to charge for every little thing--for example, $5 just to shorten your nails, which would be typical for any appointment. This place is okay! The first time I went I had a Halloween set done and it was perfect but expensive. I decided to come back for a valentine set but it wasn't the same quality. I've been a regular client at The Polish Lounge since 2022. While the longevity and technique of their nail work have always impressed me, usually lasting 3 to 5 weeks without chipping, lifting, or breakage, the customer service during my most recent visit was enough to lose me as a client. During my last appointment, I was sat with David. Throughout the service, he made several inappropriate and racially insensitive jokes, while also openly flirting with younger female technicians - which I've seen from him before. It made the experience uncomfortable from the start. I asked to change my nail shape from almond to square, but he told me I'd need to cut the length to make that possible. Not wanting to lose length, I agreed to coffin shape instead. I liked the shape initially, but the polygel application felt rushed and sloppy. Rather than keeping the narrow coffin shape, the nails ended up looking wide and blocky. I asked him to return to the almond shape, and later in my service he said it was a good choice and that he didn't like square nails and doesn't think they look good on anyone. He also made critical remarks about my design choice (really pushing in the beginning to try stickers), and commenting about my choosing polygel--creating the clear impression he didn't want to do the service. As he finished my nails, the design (a simple smiley and frowny face) became increasingly messy, with uneven lines and poor detailing. While I did say "I liked them" at one point, I didn't feel comfortable being honest - especially under pressure - and didn't fully examine the line work until I got to my car. That's when I saw that the design was not clean: the eyes were inconsistent, and the mouth lines were shaky. It just didn't look good. I can accept if a design I picked doesn't suit me, but poor execution is a different issue. Additionally, he never had me wash my hands - not before the polish, not after filing. In every other nail experience I've had over the past three years (or ever), I've always washed with water and/or soap at some point during the process. At the end, he simply applied cuticle oil to my dusty hands and sent me on my way. I paid $95 and left, but ended up walking back in shortly after to explain that I didn't like the nails or the experience, and requested a redo with a different tech. The front desk accommodated this, but the new tech was cold, didn't greet me, avoided eye contact, and didn't speak to me throughout the service. I felt like an inconvenience for even asking. This technician redid the design with thinner lines and smaller smiley faces. On his suggestion, I added small circles around the faces to make them clearer. While I appreciated the design improvement, the experience felt strained. When I went to leave, I was told there was a $10 upcharge for the added detail - despite the fact that I had already paid for a poorly done design and came back in due to quality concerns, not preference. Even after the redo, I still wasn't happy with the final result, this time realizing I had picked the wrong base color. But no one acknowledged my dissatisfaction, apologized, or made an effort to ensure I was satisfied. The atmosphere made it feel like I was being a difficult client, when all I wanted was the quality and professionalism I had come to expect. I ended up going to a different salon the next day, where the tech happily tried five different design variations until I was completely satisfied. Bottom line: If you care strictly about technique and long-lasting nails, The Polish Lounge delivers. But the lack of professionalism, empathy, and customer care - especially when a client is clearly unhappy - makes it not worth returning. This is absolutely ridiculous, I went and got my nails done because I had never gone to this place before and two of my nails broke the day of and I went back to get them redone and then not even a day later they already broke and I got a pedicure and a fill and paid $140 excluding tip. And the whole time they were giving me shit for having to come back to get them redone and now I have to go to another different nail tech to fix the mistakes they made because the girl who did my nails didn't even apply enough of an acrylic base, not to mention the paint on the nails is even chipping. So only come here if you want to have to get your nails fixed a million times. And the staff was extremely rude about the whole situation even though I was being more than polite and understanding about it. read more

Went on a Thursday for a gel manicure and pedicure. The "foot massage" was so poor I asked her to stop and just paint my toenails. By Saturday evening the polish on the pointer finger on my right hand had peeled. Went in Sunday to have it fixed. No apology by the person up front. A new girl redid that nail and didn't speak to me or smile. By Sunday evening another nail was peeling. I have never had a gel manicure peel after a couple of days. Terrible job. Unfriendly service. This has become my favorite nail salon since I started coming here. In the past l've always been a "special occasion" get my nails done type of person because at every other salon I've gone to the polish starts peeling or the nails break after the few weeks it lasts. Since switching to the Polish Lounge, I've been continuously filling this poly gel set for the last 7 months and have had no issues with peeling, breaking, anything. I've gone in with some crazy design requests and always come out blown away by the finished product. All the techs both my mom and I have seen have been wonderful but David is my go to guy, he does such a meticulous job that holds up so well. He gets my nails thin enough that I'm still able to effectively scratch an itch which is my stipulation for a good poly gel nail. The vibe of the salon is immaculate, I always feel at home and have a great time. I recommend this place to everyone. I literally LOVE this place!!! Through 2 moves I will drive any distance to see my nail tech Kim. This place is so clean, management is so warm and they will literally do anything to get you a great appointment time and nail tech. I've bounced around when Kim is on vacay and I've literally never been disappointed. I've been going here for years and I can't go anywhere else this place is unmatched. Tina is the best for a pedicure!! 10/10 recommend requesting her. I got a full set of acrylics done by Nancy and they look great far away! The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars is because she didn't give me a manicure, if you look closely my cuticles are dead and need to be trimmed. She went really fast and the sides look sloppy and when she was done she rushed to leave. I didn't want to post pictures of the sloppiness because overall I like them and don't want that to be the picture everyone sees. I just she needs to take her time next time. Fantastic shop, bright and beautiful! I usually make my appointment via Instagram dm but regardless of how you get a hold of them, they are always prompt and kind. I usually go to Amy or May, I'm really hard on my nails (I live on a mini farm) and miraculously, Amy puts nails on me that last! Gardening, saddling horses, giving donkeys butt scratches all put my nails to the test and they STAY ON! Both ladies are also awesome with designs and have great suggestions for colors when I'm feeling indecisive. I found The Polish Lounge on Instagram, and loved all the elaborate designs they do, so I finally made an appointment. Unfortunately, I'm a little disappointed with the quality of my nails. The tops of the tips weren't painted, so you can see the clear acrylic along the tops, and there's some jagged edges and leftover gel underneath the nails that I have to file down because it keeps catching on things. I also didn't realize while I was there that my cuticles weren't cut, so I now have to do that myself as well. The salon was very clean and there's plexiglass between the techs and clients, but I was elbow to elbow with other clients getting their nails done. read more

A nice lady did my nails and I showed her the picture of the design and she did a very nice job. The salon apologized and did a very good job on my second set, I was very pleased when I came back and I appreciate them doing that. So I made an appointment here because their Instagram looked really pretty and I thought they could do the design that I wanted.. so that's the picture that I showed them that I wanted vs. What I got. When I was at the salon I didn't know how uneven the blue lines were until I got home and looked at my nails up close... and I was disappointed because this set was not cheap. I have mixed feelings about this place. No doubt, the nail techs here "nail it" on their designs. The nail techs I've had so far have been great and friendly! Both times I've been here, the nail art/design that I've shown them, they've done AMAZING! The picture shown is what I had done recently and I LOVE IT!! Just the sparkle I needed. On the other hand, the two times I've been here, I've felt a sense of hurry/rush by the front desk guy. The first time I came here, I felt like I immediately had to know the color I wanted, where to sit, what to do. I did not know that I had to pay the front desk guy a tip? I gave him tip money to give the nail tech who did my nails and he asked me where his tip was? I couldn't tell if he was joking, but I thought it was odd for the front desk receptionist to ask for a tip? Other nail salons I've been to, I've never had to tip the front desk receptionist? So it was a bit awkward for me, even during the second time he asked. After reading reviews for this place I was excited to go. I got dipped with an added tip, the technician filed my right ring finger so low it actually hurts. Today I realized she never actually cut or trimmed my cuticles and they look horrendous, part of the reason I got my nails done were because of how rough they were looking. I called and spoke to someone and they said that it's not included with the nails and that I'd have to pay an additional $5 for that. I appreciate the owner taking the time to respond, however I don't appreciate someone lying. Please check your cameras because I NEVER touched my own nails, why would I touch them if I went to your place to get them done? I appreciate her letting me know how much a set like mine cost, I'm someone who rarely gets her nails done and this set was a first time for me. However, every time I have gone to get my nails done it's just common practice to include the manicure or at least ask, so I hope this may be a learning experience for myself and her nail techs to just ask. read more

I've been going here for the last 8 months and the quality and professionalism has been go downhill immensely in the last 2 months. This past Friday I went in for my typical biweekly appointment. I showed the girl what I wanted and she picked the colors. I asked if she could do the full design on one nail to make sure I liked the colors she chose altogether. She told me no. So she starts doing the design and the 3rd or 4th color in I told her that I really don't like the colors she chose. She got up, grabbed cooks of color, and tossed them down telling me that I needed to decide what I want ASAP because she had another client in 5 minutes. At this point, I'm fuming. I tell her I want the design taken off completely and she gets pissy telling me I have to pay for the design anyways. She took off the design and charged me $85. Yes, $85 for a fill and design. I walked up to the front where I told the male owner and staff that I was not happy with what just happened. The male owner got up and walked off while the front desk girls apologized for the experience. I posted stories on IG, tagging them to give them a chance to reach out and rectify the situation but they didn't. The lack of professionalism really showed me that they only care about the money their making and not their clients. I will not be returning nor recommended this salon moving forward. Had a great first experience here. After going to so many mail places and having my nails lift or being ruined in less than 2 weeks, I wanted to find a legit place I could count on to do a good job. I made an appointment and got seated right away. Ming was very nice and friendly. He paid great attention to detail and never hurt me once. I never have left a review of a nail salon. This was the worst nail place I have ever been to. For 130 dollars it looked like my 5 year old did it. I showed the woman a photo of what I wanted done, nude full set with sparkles. Instead, I got white with chunky cheap looking glitter. I went to sit in the pedicure chair and I was looking at my nails and both my thumbs had huge gaps between my natural nail and the acrylic. When I questioned the tech she didn't even look and said "nope that's normal". Also, I noticed how uneven, thick, and patchy it was done. I looked at my pedicure, which I paid 15$ more for gel, and they also looked just as bad. Polish all over my skin, uneven, and didn't even do my cuticles. Absolutely terrible. I messaged them on IG when I got home and they said to come in for a redo the next couple days. I thought for sure they would take the opportunity to do their absolute best, I was wrong. This time I had a male, and every minute asked me to check them and approve. This was in a mocking way, which the girls on either side of me noticed and could see that was embarrassing. The nails looked better than the first time, but still were thick, bubbly looking, uneven, and looked pretty terrible. To top it all off, he was filing the acrylic so harshly he cut my finger badly. When it happened I tried to pull my hand away multiple times and he wouldn't let go for me to look. When I finally pulled it back he started trying to convince me that he DIDNT cut me. It was one of those deep cuts that turns white and then starts gushing. Before I could say no he placed some chemical on it with the plastic tube directly on the wound, which is incredibly unsanitary. By this point I was so fed up that I left and didn't leave an additional tip... to be honest I should've just gotten a refund and went elsewhere. The cut on my finger still isn't fully healed and it's been very painful to wash my hands or use lotion with it burning. Save your money and skip this place. The photos were taken the same day as the service, not weeks out like they look. White was the first time, nude is the "redo". read more

I loved it! I am taking a break from SNS and gel. Unfortunately, the paint doesn't last at all on my natural nail. I will definitely go again. The salon is cute itself.. the gel manicure and regular pedicure I got were probably the worst I've ever had. It hasn't even been a week and my cuticles already look bad. I would much rather go to a hole in the wall nail salon that did good nails versus one that's decorated nice but offered poor service. $28 for pedicure, $32 for gel minus the 20% off plus a $12 tip (I still tipped the man 20% regardless of the bad job, oh well) I feel robbed. My new favorite nail salon. I've gone through about 4 nail salons since I moved here and this is the best one so far! I've only gone twice (Dip fill and nail repair) I found them on Instagram, which y'all should check their work out. So beautiful! @thepolishlounge.az I got the SNS dip. Didn't get a design, it was simple and fun. I got Hannah as my nail tech. So nice! Knew what she was doing. She did so great with my nails. I was so happy with them. I also came in a week later because i broke my pinky nail, but we couldn't find the color that i used. So we improvised and put a light pink & glitter. It went with the color scheme, i wasn't mad lol. Great salon! Nice people. Especially the receptionist! Makes you feel welcomed and super nice. I really really wanted to love this place after i heard about it from a friend but i wasn't wow'd. I got dip for the first time with an added tip for length. They're just really poorly done and some are crooked and way more filed on one side than the other. They're one of those sets that look good from far away but up close look bad. I have mixed reviews about this place.. i sent my picture of the design id like thinking they'd have it set up for me but didn't. Then i later found out the colors i wanted they did not have (pastel colors) which led me to changing my nail color and design. The nail tech was ok. Seemed rushed and eager to finish to catch a new client. My nails don't match perfectly but i guess that's ok.... 3 stars for traveling out of my way to try a nail salon that didn't meet the expectations i seen on Instagram.. still tipped the tech tho. At first glance The Polish Lounge is modern and sophisticated. Lots of black & white furniture with metallic gold and silver accents. Awesome contemporary pendant lighting throughout. The ambiance of the salon only continues with the amazing customer service and talented technicians. I was greeted by Tuan, one of the owners, who offered me refreshments and showed me the color options. They have A TON!! From traditional OPI to gel and powder colors, there is definitely no shortage of options. Vi, who also owns the salon (they are a husband and wife dynamic duo!) helped me with my acrylic fill, and Jasmine did my pedicure. All of the technicians (and even the customers!) were super friendly. We all chatted throughout my service and it felt like they were all really genuinely good people. Vi said that her clients are more like friends, and I can absolutely see that. The quality of work did not disappoint. I showed Vi a picture of some colors I liked and she was able to mix two colors together and nailed it! (Pun intended lol) I'm really happy with my nails, and I will definitely recommend this salon if you like natural looking or unique designer nails, like I do. Another note- their pedicure menu is EPIC. They go beyond callus treatment and hot stones- there are bubble and collagen masks and so many more options. I went with the express because I was short on time, but based on the descriptions alone, I was impressed!
