I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Gallery Nail Bar Mercy. I visited yesterday for a pedicure and eyebrow service. The pedicure was wonderful, and I was very happy with my feet. Unfortunately, my eyebrow experience was the complete opposite. I specifically asked for a simple eyebrow cleanup, but the technician removed far more hair than she should have. My eyebrows are now noticeably uneven, and a significant portion of my right eyebrow is missing. When I expressed my concern, the technician insisted she had not made a mistake, despite the obvious difference in my eyebrows. I then spoke with the manager, hoping the situation would be taken seriously. Initially, it felt like my concerns were being dismissed. After I removed my glasses so she could get a closer look, I was simply offered a discount for a future visit. I found that response unacceptable given the extent of the mistake. I had an event to attend that same day, and instead of feeling confident, I left feeling embarrassed and upset. While I appreciate the excellent pedicure service, the handling of my eyebrow appointment and the lack of accountability afterward have ensured that I will not be returning. I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and provides better training and customer service when mistakes occur. read more

Got a collagen pedicure with a french tip by Amy and it was the best pedicure I have ever received! The salon itself is super welcoming, clean and decorated very luxuriously. My toenails seriously look the best they ever have and not only was Amy amazing, but everyone in the salon seemed to be extremely welcoming. She absolutely loved it and Mai had great banter! A job well done in a calm, fun environment-- the inspo photo we provided was matched perfectly. Came in on a Sunday. Checked in at the desk as you walk in. You type in your number and it shows your time/requested services. I was asked to look at the gel colors, which there are plenty of them (maybe 200 or more colors). I was then escorted to the back pedicure chairs about 17 of them. Ken started my pedicure. I choose the "THE COLLAGEN PEDICURE $43. & Add Gel $15 includes: (40 mins: Massage - 12 mins) This pedicure comes with nail trimming/shaping, cuticle grooming, buffing, heel scrub, moisturizing massage, & hot towel wrap. Further, nutrition therapy socks & collagen lotion to help repair your skin. We finish off with a polish color of your choice." Once my pedicure was finished, I asked if they had time for a structure gel manicure fill. Which they did. Kim did my nails & they came out beautiful! She's been doing Nails for 20 years. Such a beautiful salon! Too bad it was a horrible experience. I got a pedicure which was priced higher than a basic pedicure, but was supposed to include callus remover. And paid another $15 for gel polish. In addition, I needed a full set after taking many months to let my nails be free from any dip products. Again, I paid extra for 2 nails on each hand to have a French tip look. I have 6 places where I was filed until I bled and said ouch! I went back and showed the owner my feet and my bloody fingers. She told me to put lotion on my feet! And then said she would give me 50% the next time I get my nails done. Do you think I would want to go back?!? I will attach pictures. The best thing about this salon is the two young girls who are the receptionists. They should look for better paying jobs because they are worth it, and could be working at offices where they would have opportunities for advancement. read more

Oh my gosh have we had a horrible experience here three times (one time we went back to correct a nail mistake). It's so heartbreaking that the techs at this place are so incredibly rude because they are so incredibly talented and it is such a beautiful and convenient place, such perfection to be right next to Starbucks. I went in here on Mother's Day with my 13 year old daughter. The sad thing is there weren't many customers in there and I had requested to sit next to my daughter because it was Mother's Day. The first thing they do is split us apart across the room. We tried not to be disappointed and just sat across the room from each other. The worst part is what happened next that I had no idea was happening until the end. The tech helping my daughter is a little bit of an older woman who sits all the way to the right in the first row with glasses. She first started complaining to my daughter (because we were making faces at each other and saying hi from across the room) she kept saying to her "what does your mom want now". In fact my tech was so sweet and was offering my daughter water, but that seemed to annoy my daughters tech. Then she started bashing my daughters choice of length of nail, she told my daughter at least 8 times that her nails were too short and making her feel guilty for choosing that length and because she was choosing a short style that it was making it hard on the tech and making her feel bad for it. My daughter chose a little shorter than the length as my picture in the review. Not short at all. Not only did she keep telling her they were too short, then she made her change the color and said her color wasn't good, she is 13 years old! Then not only did she make her feel bad for having them short, then she started attacking one of her biggest insecurities which is to have sweaty palms. She was making my daughter so upset and nervous that her palms started to sweat and the lady was so incredibly rude to her telling her that she had only seen peoples feet sweat and she was making her feel so bad and embarrassed and blew a fan in her face and kept aggressively wiping her hands with a towel. The saddest part is the lady has a daughter in college she had told us, so she is a mom to a daughter! I didn't know any of this was going on until I went over to my daughter after I finagled before her and she was almost in tears. I had to have a talk with the lady because I could not believe she had just treated a child that way! I was a so upset! The next couple days we had to go back and the only lady available was this same lady and we were in a rush and figured we would let her fix the issue she caused, thinking my talk with her would have helped her realized that she cannot talk to children that way and she should not be forcing little girls to have long nails. We walked in to fix a nail that was not glued down correctly and I kid you not. The first thing she said to my daughter is "it's because your nails are too short", no lady it's because you didn't didn't glue the nail all the way down to the nail and there was a space between her nail and the tip. I could not believe that she was still trying to shame my daughter and this time in front of me! That same day I was getting my nails done and the lady helping me was so incredibly rude also and had such a bad attitude. She was aggressive and just mean. She charged me extra for my shape and length (even though I had been in there 4 other times and never been charged-see picture). My nails ended up being $70 for a full set of dip, because she charged me extra and they chopped my nails off without my permission. The first lady I say with who seemed to be the manager because of where she sat to the off of the right of the register and the way she supervised everyone was the one who soaked off my nails. While I was talking to my daughter she cut my nails (which were super long) where I would not have needed tips without asking me. She said "oh well with tips make the dip is stronger". I said you should ask permission before you cut someone's long nails and now force me to pay $15 extra for tips. Needless to say after not just one, but three bad experiences with three different techs it's a pattern and we will not be returning. So sad because there are two really sweet techs we have had and they are so talented. I cannot imagine that we are the only ones who have had this experience. Not sure why the techs want to treat the customers especially children that way when they are in the service business. It's like we were interrupting them or making them annoyed by being there to get our nails done. So sad and strange! We are still upset by the way we were treated. Very disappointed. read more

I'm actually sad to post this because I gave this spot 3 chances. The gentleman that did my pedicure did an ok job and I have no complaints about that part but two different times I've been here I waited for a very long time. Today I came in , I didn't have an appointment but they didn't appear busy and I specifically asked if I should make an appointment and come back which they said no. I was put in a chair with the water on and after about 15 minutes, I was annoyed but decided to wait another few minutes, but there was no one around or even walking by me. Finally after 30 minutes and my feet were wrinkled and pruned. Someone came by and did my pedicure with no apology or any awareness. read more

Interior is nice but unfortunately it was hard to enjoy my pedicure for a number of reasons. 1. My nail tech was clearly sick. The entire time she is just loudly sniffling and coughing which was distracting in addition to the anxiety of oh great am I going to get this 2. Massage chairs are some of the worst I've experienced. There is only one mode and it's not great 3. Massage was lacking. They make a point on the menu to say how long it is and mine was supposed be 10 minutes but it was only 6. It also wasn't great, likely because she wasn't feeling well 4. When you walk in they have all these beverages on display but I was never offered one. If I could give zero stars I would. I made an appointment for a pedicure, show up on time, and don't get brought back to my pedicure chair for 10 minutes. Ok so they're a little backed up, fine whatever. 10 minutes later, I get seated in my pedicure chair with the warm water and start the massager on the chair. It cycles through the entire 20 minute (because it shows you on the chair) timer on my chair and still didn't have anyone start the pedicure. Meanwhile, 2 employees bring their nail carts back by the pedicure chairs and start prepping the chairs for other customers. Am I invisible today? Meanwhile, I'm sitting there with my feet in now cold water. I ended up getting up and just walking out with wet feet, now 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment time mind you. Thanks for the 20 minute free foot soak. This is completely unacceptable and I will never come back here. read more
