Honestly where do I start I'm updating my review because I'm very disappointed in the service I received. I do not like calling people out but when they don't seem to like their job or want to rush a job that requires ( care, patience, and quality) it's disappointing. I have gone to Dip a nail every time I did want to get a " good " pedicure because normally my experiences were good. Yesterday my son went and got a manicure and in got a pedicure, I had a male set up and seated pretty quickly. Unfortunately I noticed that he didn't put anything in the water to soak my feet like they normally did, I figured they stopped doing that part maybe! So as he began he was just so quick didn't even let me soak! Being quick is is not a problem but but be accurate and quick! Not just quick especially with a service that is supposed to feel like a treat to the customer. Not just quick where it feels like I'm an inconvenience on your day when this is what you do for a living. He began taking my polish off and squeezes the nail polish remover with all my red nail polish into the water, which was a little bit weird! But OK... He gave me the book to pick out which pedicure I wanted. I picked one he grabbed his drill to take the rest of my normal polish off and cut the top and sides of about 6 toes, barely filed and cleaned up a bit of the cuticle. He did the foot file for less then 15 seconds on each foot I had to come home and do that after because it didn't even feel like I got anything done. He didn't clean under my nails he honestly didn't seem to want to touch my feet! Like he did not want to do that at all. And mind you I keep my feet up pretty good but still do your job! So he went on to do the scrub, rinsed and then started cleaning up the tub! I was like ok never had that done before I was done with the service. He rubbed from the top from my ankle half way up my knee never once did he touch my feet to massage! Honestly that's the main reason I wanted a a pedicure! I can do my own toes better at home with filing and shaping but I wanted the experience! In wanted to relax on a day off and I was so disappointed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He tried to upsale me on gel polish but like I said I don't go in enough for that I just really wanted the massage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stand on my feel all day, I own my own hair studio so I know customer service is key and I know I needed a good massage and relaxing day!! Never got that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He painted my toes told me to sit for a moment came back snapped his fingers after 2 min at the most, put my shoes on me and told me I'm done...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the lady sitting next to me getting a pedi who was there way before me just looked at me kind of shocked. I was done with the whole experience in 20 min at the most no soak, no file, no feet massage It was honestly a waste of money and time. but I do love the color I picked! They took 5 $ off because I told them he didn't massage my feet I didn't even want to tell them the rest, I just wanted to leave.. I will not be going back. read more

I don't love leaving bad reviews because [[HIGHLIGHT]]the staff was so warm and welcoming and friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went in on Monday for gel, I wanted an "orange" design which I showed the guy as soon as we sat down. He said ok...as you can see not at all what I got but I was like it's ok I'll live with it, I felt bad for the man. Tuesday morning I noticed my thumb fingernails were bubbling up already. My ring finger also had bubbled up... Wednesday morning my ring finger nail was already coming undone(had to peel some of it off after it got stuck in my clothing) and you still can see the little bubble on the other coats. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not even a full week. I haven't been able to go back to show them in person due to my work schedule. Jimmy was my nail technician. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I sat down the water was already in the bowl and it was luke warm. I asked Jimmy if he could make it hotter. He either didn't hear me or ignored me (I think he was trying to ignore me).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked 2 more times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He seemed annoyed, turned the water on for 10 seconds and then back off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He started to walk away and I asked again if it could be hotter. Again did not respond. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked the guy that was doing my daughter's nails and he told me to tell my tech.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was done asking and decided it would just affect his tip and there are plenty of other salons in the area. I got gel manicure and pedicure, from different technicians. Pedicure was decent. The manicure came out SO BAD. The technician did 2 coats of clear gel, 2 coats of chunky glitter, and 1 more coat of clear polish. My nails are already short, and now they super lumpy and messy looking. I don't have time to get them redone this week and I have a special event this weekend. I'm so disappointed. She tried to correct the lumpy-ness by using a nail file to even them out but ultimately gave up. read more

I stopped by Dip as a walk in. I usually drive to Gold Canyon to get my nails done, with now living in Mesa on McKellips and Recker, I've been looking for a place closer. Tracy did my Ombré fill and did an amazing job. I came out of state to visit and had been wanting to try this place with my boyfriend but was very unhappy and disappointed with the service i had received especially with almost spending $300.00 including tip just to have Crooked nails, horribly shaped uncured for the gel to open up and have it be wet still 3 days from visit including having a burning sensation on my cuticles. My nails have officially survived the "two week test"! I told myself I would not review until I experienced if my nails held up for at least two weeks, and, here we are!! I tried this salon a couple years ago when they were under different ownership and sadly, did not have a sturdy manicure. A couple weeks ago, I was looking for a new place to try to get a mani/pedi and get out of the house! I noticed the new name, DIP, and decided to give it another go. I got a basic pedi as I wanted to splurge a little and get SNS for my manicure. The basic pedicure was even better than I expected! Loved it! My pedi has held up well over the last couple weeks also. Yay! For my mani, I got SNS. I personally love SNS because of the durability. I am a person who is rough on her nails, so SNS seems to hold up better for me. My only issue was I was cut and bled during the mani. I'm sure my technician didn't mean it, but still was a bummer and was sore for a couple days after. Salon was clean and open. I am thinking I will be back to satisfy my SNS mani addiction next week. There's just something about having pretty nails, and I love not having to paint them for weeks! read more

I've given it two years and I'm done. When I went back because he did a sloppy job, he would not even fix all the ones I thought needed attention, probably because he had someone else in his chair when I again had made an appointment. We made an appointment for 3pm and this was our first visit. We got here 10 minutes early and picked our colors. Then they seated us and we waited for about 10 minutes after 3. Then we just sat there and no one attended to us. Then around 20 after a gal came and got my mother in law soaking and left me alone. We are both getting a dip so I need to be soaking too. Now it's 3:30, everyone is with someone and we're sitting....at 3:30 the gal came back to my mom and asked if she picked her color but not asking what number. Then she walked away. We sat and waited again. Nothing. So now we're 30 minutes after our appointment was for and no one has touched my hands. Finally they started me and did a crappy job. Messy, stuff under my nails and over drilled. Burnt my nail bed. I went because they had great reviews but I was horribly disappointed. read more

Everyone is so friendly and it is super clean. Ashley continues to do the SNS/dipping powder, acrylic, liquid nails, basic manicures and all types of pedicures. She is also excels at waxing and facials she has been in business for 22 years. I am really hard on my nails because I volunteer in dog search and rescue and they last for a month with the dip. Her typical nail treatments last at least three weeks to a month. Even if you have not used her in the past I highly recommend her and please go check her out! She has a lot of clients in Las Sendas but does not have their phone numbers to give them the good news. read more

The first time I was in I had a pedicure and dip nails. Danny did a wonderful job. I should have ask for him again today. I came in only for the dip nails. First they did not remove all of the old powder. I have a French nail with the dip and you can see where the old powder is still at. My nails are uneven with a variety of thickness to the nail. Unfortunately it cost $60 for a really bad job. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I even asked for the full powder to be removed and they acted like I was asking for something crazy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have had the powder dip for at least 4 years and salons always remove ALL of the old powder. The staff here are very friendly! I usually go on the weekends and have only waited about 5 minutes each time! I have gone about 3 times and The only reason I took one star away is because my dip typically chips within a few days each time I have gone. I have had other salons dip last 3-4 weeks before it chips. Overall great experience with staff quality is ok! read more

Omg I'm soooooooooo happy finding this place and David. I'm living in California and would come to Arizona every year to visit my family and this is the best nail salon I've been. The place is very nice and clean, and the staffs are very friendly and professional. On top of that is David, a very kind and genuine man. You can tell he really pays attention to his work and makes sure you come home with perfect nails. I had my nails and toes done more than a week ago and they still look stunning.
