tried this place for a mini pedi when they first opened. I ended up getting the owners mother, who had exactly zero work experience at the time. And they were texting back and forth while she was trying to do my nails. I wrote a review at the time and at that time was told by the owner to come in and he would make it right. I declined. So fast-forward to today, I thought I would give them another shot as I was next-door buying groceries anyway. I couldn't believe it, I ended up getting the mother again as my so-called technician. She still doesn't have a clue what she's doing, pulled up a very messy unorganized cart that she couldn't find anything she was looking for, not interested at all doing a good job, and constantly looked up every time a customer walked in, was more interested in the conversation around us than she was in doing my mini pedi. She haphazardly trimmed my nails, did minimal filling, did not trim my cuticles, and spent less than 10 seconds on each heel scrub. Got a wet rag, (not even heated), wiped my feet and said " your the special right" . I nodded yes and she said "your done" The owner was doing a pedicure on a customer in the next chair, so he has to be aware of the mother's limitations, but still chooses to let her work on customers. This is very unhealthy and unsafe. Most states require nail technicians to be licensed. read more

Called first for appointment and told to just come in. Did not ask for my name. Pedicure was mediocre and only rinsed my feet instead of soak. Cut my finger severely when preparing for nail service. Left salon because I was sick from severe pain. Did not even apologize or have any concern for my condition. Two days later my finger is still bandaged and I was forced to cancel weekend plans with family. Just praying I won't develop an infection from wound. Do not put yourself in this predicamen. read more

came in for a standard manicure and pedicure. less than24 hours later the polish on my hands chipped and peeled off..... the tech didn't wait long enough for them to dry.... I can back to fix them and they made me feel like it was my fault... the tech had to redo the polish twice because she was rushing the drying process..... patience is a virtue the techs at this salon don't have. read more

Kristine is super sweet. Unfortunately didn't receive what I wanted and the nail tech is very rough with the grinder. When I arrived I asked for a simple design. Their training is very limited and have minimal to basic capabilities. I felt rushed through with the $35 pedicure. When I left the nail tech a tip on my card instead of saying thank you she had the audacity to ask for cash. Sorry. You lost a customer. I'll go back to new moon nails where they can do more than simple nail designs. read more

I have loved Kristine Nails since I moved to North Mesa two years ago! This review is long overdue. They know me by name, which feels awesome! I see Dionna, unless she is unavailable. I regularly get pedicures and acrylics done by her, and I just love her work. I always get the ultimate pedicure with gel, which is completely worth it for all of the ways that they make you feel pampered! Their prices are fabulous compared to some other places in the area and I always leave feeling special and refreshed. They also just got new massage chairs, and they are glorious and the foot bath is beautiful. read more

This has been my regular nail spot for about a year since I moved to the area. They do a great job and the prices are reasonable. I usually get pedicures, the deluxe medicare with a basic Mani shape up. They fill up pretty fast so getting there earlier helps on the weekends. They listen well and are very considerate. I'm a repeat customer and even though I moved from East Mesa to West Mesa and I will still drive across town to go to my fav spot. read more

Whelp..... Took 2 hours to get a gel pedicure and dip manicure- Not the bad part. The pedicure is subpar- Not worth $50 because my toenails are uneven and have points, not to mention the nails aren't painted all the way. However, it's the $40 manicure that blows my mind. The guy who did them- Was nice but I'm questioning whether he just didn't care because they were busy or really couldn't see how terrible this was. Also- I've never gone somewhere that didn't offer a white or black base coat, if they knew the color was basically a clear coat. I am NOT a happy customer. UPDATE- Thanks for your response Kristine's Nails! I mentioned in my review you were busy, I'll note- I had an APPOINTMENT. Also we were the ONLY 2 pedicures at 5:30.... So no excuse there. I was also, the only one having a service done on my hands and was rushed out of the chair to make room for someone else- So the opportunity to say anything was completely void. I would have thought that when I looked at my hands multiple times or sat there taking pictures would have been a non-verbal sign I wasn't happy. I'll skip coming back and spend $90 somewhere that wouldn't let me walk out with my hands and feet looking like the pictures. Thank you! read more

I had one good experience followed by one very poor one. I just moved next door and was excited to have a salon so close. I don't get my nails done often but I like to do gels every once in a while. I went the first time a few weeks ago and got my toes and feet done with gel polish. The owner Kristine did them and she did a great job, she's very nice too and you can tell she really cares about her business. I went a few days ago to get the gels on my hands removed, and had a terrible experience. Someone else did them this time and literally just dremeled the polish off with the rotating tool, shaving off half of my nails in the process. It left my nails jagged and rough with huge gashes in them. Now they're super weak and keep breaking and I have visible dremel marks all over every nail. I should have said something but instead I just paid and left. Every other time I've had gels taken off they file the gel polish gently with a nail file and then soak the nails in polish remover, nobody has ever shaved off all the gel with a dremel and destroyed my nails in the process. To be fair, I saw this happening and got nervous and didn't say anything. I should have stepped in and stopped her and then spoken to the owner. I won't be going back. read more

I brought my ma in for a pedicure and manicure today because she did not feel well on mother's day. We were greeted by a whole salon with warmth welcome and she was taken to her seat right away. The staff are so friendly and speak good English. They understood my mother's medical problems with her feet and know exactly how to care for her feet. Dionna was so caring and I kept hearing she checking on my mother all the time. Phillip started on her manicure and he was very good helping her choosing the color. I had a facial wax by Queenie and she ripped half of my lower lip off. I am on blood thinners and it took a very long time to stop the bleeding. She had waxed my face once before with good results. Kyle did my pedicure and manicure. It was so horrible that I came home and refiled my own nails and repainted both my toe nails and finger nails. I won't go here anymore.
