Used to go here. Twice a month for 3years. Would even bring my Mom w/me, referred 2 of my girlfriends & one of them would bring her sister, so that's 5 of us. Tee told me I was too picky & that all the dust flying around from the drilling & the hairs that were being left in my nails because she used her brushes a little too long before replacing them for the last Two times I went in was my fault. Her words exactly after having my hands in hers for the last hour of her doing my nails, "You bring the dirt w/you." I asked her, "Did you just tell me I bring the dirt w/me??" She said yes & I said wow. I had been going there for 3yrs, at least twice a month, dropping $100-$200 every visit. I never went back & neither have any of the people I know. I visited Pinky Nails & Spa Saturday 5/24/2025. My nail technician was David Tat. This was my very first visit to this salon. I have acrylic nails and was there to get a fill and a gel polish change. I wanted a French manicure. I was so impressed with David. He was kind and cared so much about making sure I was pleased with his work. I requested that he trim my nails. He did so without making them too short (ladies you know what I mean when they hack off the nails it took you a while to grow). Then he gave me a fill without making my nails look like way too thick (like chicklets). My nails looked natural. What impressed me the most, was when he put the white polish on my tips. The white was way too bright and didn't look natural. I told him so, and he didn't flench. He never tried to convince me to take what he used, got an attitude, or tried to embarrass me. He simply said "you are right". "I have something much better". He picked out a much softer white and my nails looked absolutely beautiful. This is what EXCEPTIONAL customer service looks like! David's kindness, patience and great skills have made him my new nail tech. I will be going back to see David Tat again. What a wonderful first experience. I'm thrilled with my nails. read more

I used to enjoy coming here during my trips to AZ because the previous technicians were kind, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about providing a quality experience for their customers. However, I've noticed that some of the current technicians aren't as professional and often talk and laugh about their customers when they're right in front of them. When I came in today, the woman at the front desk scolded me for not telling her that part of my party cancelled, when we actually notified her yesterday that they were coming the day before instead. David did a wonderful job with my pedicure, but I wish that the other staff would be more professional and respectful towards their customers. read more

Love my nails! I got dipping powder with extensions. Color 429 Boston University Red. Coffin shape, short. They're shinier in person than the photos. Nikki did my nails and was thorough and gentle. The place was really modern, cute, and clean. I think great prices. Mine was $65 but she also took off my acrylic nails before so if you come in with clean nails it's $50-$55 I believe. I decided to try this place based on all the 5 star reviews and it's super close to home. I was easily able to get an appointment for this afternoon after calling this morning. I want to start by saying it looks beautiful inside...everything looks new and clean. However, I did not see anyone wipe down the pedicure station after I sat there which means it most likely wasn't wiped down before I sat there. I was happy to see that they carry DND polish since I've had it many times before and it holds up well. DND always has the matching gel and regular polish in one box making it real easy to match. Now, I don't know if I got an old set, but the 2 colors are completely different. Oh well. I still like them both, but I try to really match toes and fingers. On to the actual service...Ny (spelling?) did a good job massaging and painting, but the callous removal was not the best. She also removed the old gel polish from my fingernails. She directed me to the manicure station and I was surprised to see a different tech sit down. Tracy was her name and she did not seem to speak English at all making it very difficult for me to communicate with her. This is one of my pet peeves. I need to be able to have the person understand what I want. The polish application is so uneven it's not even funny. I'm not happy with the way they look, but you can't ever tell when you're in the salon. You really tell when you get outside in the natural lighting. This is the most important part! There are many places where the polish was not applied evenly, I can still see my last color on the side of one nail and I don't think Ny filed them down evenly on the surface of the nail bed making them lumpy. I didn't have high expectations going in so I'm not surprised, but I definitely won't be going back. The prices are higher than the salon across the street. I'm still on the hunt for a great tech/salon. Wish me luck! read more

The quality of my nails after the session was done was atrocious, I asked her many times to correct the shape & also the chrome of the nail. I showed her an inspo picture of what I wanted and she said she would be capable of doing it. She was also wasn't paying attention most of the time, she kept filing my finger more than my nail and I had to keep pulling away and tell her she was hurting me.‍ So I trusted her, but what second guessed me was her putting on a sloppy bead of acrylic. And her boss kept coming over to see if she was doing okay, and when it came to the chrome she didn't know how to remove the excess. Anyways the after product was bad, I will never come here again. I'll take my business elsewhere, where they are capable of doing a better job of the quality i'm paying them for! read more

Loved that they accommodated a large group for us for a bachelorette party. They were kind to seat us together and patient for a variety of needs. Service overall was slow but it may have been because of the size of our group. I got a pedicure and the quality of the polish portion was great, everything seemed clean and well sanitized and my nails came out very neat. I am docking a star however because I paid for a deluxe pedicure and it was hardly that, my feet were literally still rough leaving the shop despite paying extra for all of the callous treatment options. I am not sure if it was a hustle or if I just have intense callouses but for all the extra costs and steps I'd have expected more. Bottom line I don't think anything above a basic pedicure is worth the investment here but if that's all you need, stop in! read more

I'm so glad I had the chance to visit this nail salon! I booked an appointment online. I was greeted when I entered and was able to check in at the front desk for my appointment. I scheduled to take off my acrylic nails, a gel manicure, and a pedicure. I changed my mind on the gel manicure and was happy that I was able to switch it to an acrylic overlay(with just my nails). The salon was very clean. My nail tech was Diana and she is such a gem! She was very knowledgeable and we discussed what I wanted with my nails before we started. She tried different swatches(color) of the acrylic for me to make sure I was going to be happy and I appreciated that. She gave me pricing (very reasonable) of everything in the beginning and checked in with me as we went along to make sure I liked everything. She was patient in removing my acrylics (that were layered on way too thick by a different salon). Diana has great attention to detail. She was not rushing and I enjoyed our conversation. Each pedicure comes with hot stones. The whole experience for me was amazing. As a wife and mom of 5 I just needed a break and this was what I needed. I felt so relaxed! I've been supporting this business since they've opened. Not only did they start charging for all card use, passing on the charge to the customers, even though they are already one of the more expensive nail salons in the area. I always make an appointment because my Work time is limited and I had 1hour out of an entire week to get my nails done. When I walked in the salon was full, they did not honor the appointment that I made. They left me sitting there without explanation for 15 minutes before I walked out. I will never be returning to this business again. I don't appreciate having my time wasted, and I don't appreciate being ignored and making zero attempt to communicate. No one from the business attempted to talk to me as I was leaving or called me. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Ive been here twice. The first time was great no issues. The second time Nancy cut my cuticle and insisted it was because I had to much dead skin. It's not dead if it's bleeding... As a remedy they gave me a five dollar gift certificate... It's been two weeks since I have been here and my cuticle is still dark from the cut. I went with my family and it was good. It was my daughters first time (She's 4) and the lady who did her toes and nails was so sweet and good with my daughter. The inside of the salon was beautiful and very clean! Outside of that, I personally wouldn't go again. The service was FAST which on some days is good, but it felt rushed. The gentleman who did my nails was good at asking if I liked the amount of paint that was on, but he was working so fast he cut my cuticle (which I know happens, but he didn't apologize or say anything at all when he did and when it kept bleeding). My sister who came with me got her mani and pedi and there was white polish paint from her nail left on her fingers (again not a huge deal, but those details are what deter me from going again). Also, I know the room is not very big, but when my pedicure was done and they were doing my manicure they had me go to the manicure table and my daughter was left in the pedicure chair while her nails dried. I wish they would have had my daughter move next to me or wait until her nails dried before having us separate across the room. It being the unfortunate dangerous world we live in, I kept looking back almost every second to let my daughter know that her mommy was still there and paying attention. She was a little scared to be alone as this was her first time to a nail salon and she is only 4 years old.
