When we walked in we were greeted by Dana who was absolutely amazing at explaining the process to us. There was a ton of different items to choose from to start painting and lots of colors to choose. We had such a fun time together as a family and we cannot wait to come back again! Dana who was working was super nice, extremely kind, and patient with our young son! It's like the rented the whole place for themselves to be as wild as they wanted with no courtesy for others - except for the fact that they didn't. I'm not a party pooper. I'm not a buzz kill. I'm totally glad we get back to real life and some def fun- for everyone! So let's still be polite. Let's still be aware of our surroundings. Let's respect the others in the room ! What about indoor voices ? What about "read the room"? Oh no , you couldn't do that because you were all acting like you were at a park ! This was for a special birthday and it's all we wanted to do. Needless to say, we never got a call back, so we were not able to fulfill the birthday wish. The birthday girl and I am severely disappointed, sad and now angry. This is not the experience we wanted or expected. We were in the store six months ago and everyone was falling all over themselves to set up a private class. This isn't how you run a business, it's not how you treat customers, and it's certainly not how you stay in business. The business owner, Cindy, saw my review and said they do not have the staff to offer private classes. Then continued to say to check the website for a form that has info on private events. So which is it? Either you do or you don't. It doesn't matter because they've lost our business and we are now spreading the word to avoid this place because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. We did get two call backs by the way, one guy told us we needed to talk to Priscilla (who never called us back or would come to the phone) and the other said she taught those classes but wouldn't be available the day we wanted.

The next day, I noticed the crack was rendering the pitcher completely ineffective, the water drained out leaving a puddle and my flowers dried up. I called to see if anything could be done as compensation, since the item was damaged during the glazing process, while in their care. They stated they could do nothing else for me since they already gave me the 10% off coupon and recommended I purchase ceramic glue to repair it myself. Love the idea of an art space like this one in Eugene but they do not take accountability for broken items.

He has shelves of pottery that he and his students have made and even the Airbnb itself had some of his pieces. He was very patient and friendly with many years of experience to teach from. You can do private lessons with him to learn how to throw pots on the wheel. You can also purchase his work if you would like some beautiful pottery of your own. My sister and I went to the First Friday Art Walk a few days ago and stopped in since it was one of the major stops on the Walk. They have a wide range of art styles represented here; we saw painting, photography, jewelry, fiber arts, and more. The gallery extends invitations artists to be members of the gallery based upon their non-juried art exhibitions that happen twice per year. Whilst the First Friday Art Walk is one way they regularly welcome in the community, they also host a bunch of workshops. I was surprised to see how full their schedule is, and the cost of the workshops are incredibly reasonable--I think I even saw on that accepted donations on a sliding scale. Given its location downtown, it's very easy to visit via LTD or of course by car. There isn't dedicated parking but there's a city lot on the next block, as well as street parking.

What she did was ask what I was needing it for, made a concoction specifically for me, and hand made a custom bottle on the spot for me for $25! I have had friends who have gone there and none of them will ever go back. Two of the women were subjected to insulting comments about their cultures. One felt they were treated poorly because of their race. The classes were horrible. "Master herbalist" Heather Nic an Fhleisdeir would frequently go off into irrelevant rants during the classes and waste time (time that was paid for by the students) complaining about everything from other people's lifestyles to environmentalists to whatever random thing came into her head. And she was not particularly knowledgeable on any of the topics she ranted about. At time she seemed rather histrionic. Heather Nic an Fhleisdeir has poor boundaries or little respect for clients, students or anyone who does not agree with everything she says. She sprayed something on a friend of mine without permission. My friend has nut allergies and developed a bad rash and migraine within minutes of the incident. After telling a class that she never diagnoses or prescribes for legal reasons she then proceeded to prescribe herbs to someone who walked into the door. And she did so without asking this women any important questions like allergies or pregnancy. This person is dangerous and I do not know why she is still in business.
