I think she may have been the owner, but I'm second-guessing myself a bit now. I was on the Charm Trail. We got to talking and somehow it came about that while I'm from Eugene I currently live in Chicago, and she happened to live in Chicago at one point, too. We also both worked at universities in the city. Just having a chat with her made it a fun stop. The store is very clean and has many of the art supplies one would need to create their next masterpiece--paper, canvases, paints, pens, you name it. They have information about workshops and art-related events as well. I am not much of an artist but I did do a paint night in grad school once and found it to be a lot of fun (surprisingly so--it was very soothing). That is to say, you may also find painting to be a relaxing activity, so if you've ever wanted to pick up the hobby, visit here and you'll good guidance from very helpful staff. I was a bit sad that it's not in Eugene, since I don't get to Florence very often even when I'm home visiting, but coming here did spark creative energies that I'm hoping to follow in the coming months!

Her shop is amazing - full of fascinating crafts from lots of different artists, and she herself makes gorgeous stained glass! We found so many treasures, everything was priced so reasonably, and we spent the rest of our afternoon raving about how much we love this gem of a shop. The owner is so wonderful, and her kindness and generosity just added to an already fantastic encounter. We'll definitely be back!

This place sells all kinds of beads, my achilles heel right there in Yachats. The place sparkles with pretty glass colored beads as well as jewelry and other craft items hanging around. Turns out that was a copycat I had seen earlier. I'm going to hang my jellyfish near my pool. They are so creative and interesting looking. I'm also loving sustainable artists who recycle materials into something unique and beautiful. The pirate galleries are hidden behind the store fronts and looks like a Hollywood set! Great find and super cool. Mine was $75. Go get one!

We were intrigued by this sweet little shop! She has an assortment of gifts, including air plants!…read more But the unexpected items we found were raccoon and fox penis bones! They can be ground up and used for spells, but they are interesting whole. I resisted the urge to blurt out "THAT'S why they are called boners!". The proprietress is delightful! Stop in and see what a nice selection of items she has. We found some incense we liked. You might find something cool too! The penis bones will have to be my next visit!
