The cookies were just amazing, and our idea for a woodland rose birthday theme was perfectly executed. We had the cake designed to match my daughter's dress and it was perfect. We got the vanilla cake, raspberry filling, and vanilla buttercream. Everyone loved the cake and it was so fresh, not overly sweet, and had that homemade goodness to it where close tour eyes and smile and feel nostalgia for something new. This shop is in the Old Mill area which is a great historical spot in Salem and the shop has a great selection of yarn. The shop is part of a larger group of boutiques and a cafe housed in what was once a large mill. I looked at the plentiful selection and found what I wanted. I would have given this five stars but the owner/manager of the shop was not there, apparently only is in the shop a few days a week so the manager of another nearby shop rang up my purchase and wound the yarn for me. Part of a wonderful shop catering to crafts or art is having a knowledgeable staff person to ask questions of or discuss yarn qualities. A great place to purchase yarn and surroundings in which to browse but lacking a hands-on presence.
