I walked in here to browse with my wife and the inventory was absolutely unbelievable. They have every type and color of yarn imaginable. Nylon, polyester, cotton, bamboo, milk thread, mohair, etc. A quick count of some shelves has me estimating there is an inventory of close to 50,000 balls of yarn here. If you can't find what you need here, you can't be helped.

SOCK YARN!!!!

I don't believe there is another yarn store on the planet that has every yarn known to human. This is one of those places where when you say "I've died and gone to heaven" you can really mean it. If you need it... They've got it. Highly recommend you put on your resource list for yarn supplies.

Shop keeper was very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots to pick from! Wish I had more time to explore.

Sadly I am not able to offer a review. The shop was closed. No note on the door. Maybe the next time I'm in the area.

A Spinner's Barn - The shop is named for our 1900-era barn where the alpacas live. Several local spinners have items for sale here.

You can probably go in any time you're visiting Aragon Farm (make an appointment to be sure). A Spinner's Barn has a beautiful selection of silky smooth alpaca yarn, gorgeous alpaca fur blankets, clothing and scarves woven locally, alpaca fleece, socks, stuffed animals, bags, hats, alpaca-themed gifts like mugs, and a variety of original landscape paintings by the Plein Air Painters of Lane County, whom you'll often find painting out at the farm. A Spinner's Barn also organizes spinning classes if you get in touch with them. We stopped by this week, petted the adorable and very sweet alpacas, and then quickly sought some warmth in the gift shop where we got some of the softest yarn I've ever felt as a christmas gift for a family member. Our visit was well worth the drive, but make sure you check that they're open, or just call ahead and they'll make sure they're there to open the place for you!

A spinning wheel is available for impromptu demonstrations, and the alpacas are usually gathered just outside for you to visit. Meet the animal who has contributed fleece during annual shearing. I love Michael's. I wish I could buy everything besides the scrapbooking stuff. Lol…read moreI love the clearance aisle and Dollar deals. I could get lost here. I once got sucked into the Michael's hole for 4 hour. Very friendly staff and they are great multi taskers

Shortly after I…read morenoticed some items on sale and placed another order also for pick up that day. looking at the orders I noticed my original ordered had been added to my second order and I had been billed 2times. I couldn't see how to fix it online, used "chat" finally gave up and called the store. after explaining my situation the young lady who answered said she could do nothing, she couldn't refund over the phone. a huge pet peeve with me. customer service 101, never say you can't help someone. I asked her if when I picked up the order and returned the item at that time wouldn't they be able to refund it? she back pedaled, got upset and I told her never say you can't help someone, always think out of the box. she could have offered that to me but she immediately said no. she hung up on me. nice. I got no notices that my order was being processed, was ready, I finally looked online and it was ready so my husband was able to grab it on his way home. Customer Service appears to be a lost art here at our local Michaels. Oh, and by the way, they give you a customer service number of 1 800 Michaels, it's Incorrect despite being given out by everyone and plastered all over their site. It's too many numbers. It's 800 Michael.
