I placed an order online and paid for it with a plan to pick it up the same day. Shortly after I noticed some items on sale and placed another order also for pick up that day. looking at the orders I noticed my original ordered had been added to my second order and I had been billed 2times. I couldn't see how to fix it online, used "chat" finally gave up and called the store. after explaining my situation the young lady who answered said she could do nothing, she couldn't refund over the phone. a huge pet peeve with me. customer service 101, never say you can't help someone. I asked her if when I picked up the order and returned the item at that time wouldn't they be able to refund it? she back pedaled, got upset and I told her never say you can't help someone, always think out of the box. she could have offered that to me but she immediately said no. she hung up on me. nice. I got no notices that my order was being processed, was ready, I finally looked online and it was ready so my husband was able to grab it on his way home. Customer Service appears to be a lost art here at our local Michaels. Oh, and by the way, they give you a customer service number of 1 800 Michaels, it's Incorrect despite being given out by everyone and plastered all over their site. It's too many numbers. It's 800 Michael. read more

I love their frequent buyer points and their sales. I make Edwardian hats and I often find many of the embellishments that I need here at Michael's. Service is always warm, friendly, and caring, which I really appreciate. These folks go the 2nd mile I really love this store. read more

Did the employee Carlie seriously just say snatch to my 74 year old mom? How inappropriate can an employee be! The manager need to speak with employees on customer service and what you shouldn't say too customers read more

Carlie was excellent! We were filling up balloons for a 6 year old birthday party and were running all over town. Carlie was so incredibly helpful and sweet. Thank you so much! read more

Fun for the crafty, yup. They are overpriced, but most brick and mortar stores have to be these days. Not a great attitude day for staff, evidently, for my recent visit. So, yeah. Keep that in mind and speak up. The customer isn't always right, but they usually are... *ahem read more

They did a fantastic job on both the cross-stitch matting and framing as well as the original artwork. I am very pleased with them.

Your customer service is terrible had me on hold for 30 minutes called again and they said they would give me a call back never took down my number or anything read more

Just got off the phone with Trinity because I had a few questions about their Halloween items and oh my goodness she is so so so nice and helped me with exactly what I needed! I ended up calling twice because I had another question, she answered both times quickly and she made my day! Seriously so amazing and I'm just blown away with her attentiveness and work ethic!! :) thank you so much! read more

Very clean and organized craft store. So many items at reasonable prices. My daughter and I wentt there looking for artificial flowers to make spring wreaths and flower crowns. Some were on sale so we got different colors and sizes! We enjoyed browsing and just looking around in case we need something else in the near future! read more

See all

I walked in and was like a deer in headlights. I had an odd ball size frame my wife had bought there years ago. She sent me to find a near match and a coupon she got in the mail. I headed to the back where I saw "Framing" on the wall. Omg...Sooooo many options it was overwhelming. I found Aaron who quickly and expertly measured up my original frame. He took me right over to the oddball sizes and there it was... a near match! $35 for a frame? Damn, no wonder why she sent me, lol ;0P. I got to looking at the 50% off coupon my wife had sent me with and quickly realized it hadn't even started yet! Aaron offered me a 40% off coupon currently running and went to look for one. After no luck finding one, he said he would just ring me up back at the framing register. He explained he was the manager and decided he would honor my 50% off coupon even though it wasn't active yet. If that's not great, 5 star customer service then I don't know what is!!! I have very little experience coming into Michaels (that's wifies thing), but I will seek out this location anytime it presents itself, solely due to the service I experienced. Aaron, Thanks a ton for assisting this helpless newbie and making a daunting chore quickly and easily attainable! read more

I love Michael's. I wish I could buy everything besides the scrapbooking stuff. Lol I love the clearance aisle and Dollar deals. I could get lost here. I once got sucked into the Michael's hole for 4 hour. Very friendly staff and they are great multi taskers read more

Great store and equally great people. So helpful and priced well. Always bargains and coupons!

Normally customer service is ok at this store . Today however it wasn't. I was in line, being very patient as the one checkout person was taking a very long time checking someone out (chatting). Finally it was my turn and halfway thru my checkout the employee answers the phone and commences to help the person on the phone and stopped helping me! Never should a phone call take precedent over someone in the store. I was livid. Answer it, put the call on hold but don't stop helping the person checking out. I tried finding a manager but couldn't find one so I decided to deal with it this way. read more

The women working in this store have amazing customer service skills! I admit, I don't know one bead size from another, and I couldn't be more grateful for the help I've received here. read more

The framing department has great skills and do customer service in a big way. I will be back!

So I love michaels!!! However this location seems to only have a few employees and none of which know what they're talking about...walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice employee asking if we needed any help and I certainly did so I described what I needed and she confidently told me the isle to find it in. I then go to said isle and it was far from what I was looking for so I was confused and went back to the costumer service desk and no one was there, so we politely went to a cashier who was extremely busy if she could page someone to customer service, and then we were RUDELY interrupted by the same lady who "helped" us when we first walked in. She asked us why we couldn't find what we were looking for where she said it was, so then she pages an employee to meet us in the wrong isle she told us in the beginning so we split up I waited in said isle and my friend waited in the isle we thought it would be near. The employee who was to meet us met my friend in the isle we thought it would be near and in the end they didn't even have what we needed anymore so we had to settle for something that may not work...in all we were there for 30mins longer than needed be and it was a terrible experience I don't want to go back!!! read more

This Michaels isn't as big or well stocked as some I've been to but it carries a lot of options and they have a lot of good sales. I've had a bunch of things custom framed here and though it's spendy I have really appreciated the professionalism and caring of the framing staff. They were great with helping me put together several projects and remembered me the next time I came in. The paper craft selection is decent and the flower and jewelry sections are hit or miss depending on what you are looking for. My biggest complaint is just available selections can be small sometimes. I've always had good service here and will happily continue to shop here! read more
