I have been buying/selling clothes here for many years. I have learned what to bring to make it most worth it. I really go through my items to sell. Make sure everything is clean and no holes or stains. Shoes need to be the same. It will be worth the extra time. I find if I bring a small amount of current, clean items, they actually buy more. Overall it's a great place due to the fact you can bring your kids outgrown clothes for store credit or cash. I've done both and have not had a problem. I would say, just keep a forgiving and open mind--not all your clothes will be bought. They do give you a chance to have the items they don't buy donated. The ladies are very welcoming and nice. They have a large selection of everything. Unfortunately some of the prices were higher than I thought being a second hand store. I recommend signing up as they do have some deals that are worth it. Sometimes it's cheaper at Ross and it's new. I went to the location in Medford. It seemed we got there a little late but all of the workers were so nice and let us explore anyway. The location was conveniently close to a mall and the clothes selection was mostly name brand and well taken care of. We ended up getting 3 toys that sell for way more than we bought them for ($25) and our three kids are beyond happy with their selection. We will be returning to get some snow gear before winter hits as they had an amazing section of it! read more

I have been shopping here for years. Came in to sell 2 big toys that cost a lot of money. They were busy so I was asked to leave the toys and that i would be informed the price they would be buying it for by email. Than recieved an email my toys were bought for 3$. When I told them i refuse to sell it for such a low price, i was informed that the transaction already happened and that i can't refuse or pick up the toys. I asked to talk to a manager and was refused. Horrible service. The place is a scam. Would never shop here or bring in clothes or toys ever again. read more

For someone who recently had kids this year, I was excited to go to a second hand store for kids. There has been a big difference in cost with buying and selling as well as staff. My friend got a large amount cash for stuff she brought in back when it was the old location. I brought in two bags of preemie, newborn, 0-3 months, and some 3-6 months clothes, some sets and twin matching clothes. I also brought in a thermal bag and variety of swaddles. All in great condition and some new with tags including socks and bibs. I was given $18 and told about 50% of it was considered donation due to "missing sets". I was unhappy with this and did mention this to them but never heard back. Maybe they were busy with the increase in stuff but the staff that was impatient and seemed rather irritated when given clothes to go through but cashier was delightful. If I would have known it was going to be 50% donation I would have donated it to our local shelter for families in need. That 50% "donation" will now be turned around by the store to make a profit for them. As you can read in other 1 star reviews, they all have similar experiences as well as another friend has the same issue. Myself and several friends and family will not be doing business with Kid to Kid in Medford anymore. Families can go to Ross, Michaels and Burlington right around the corner for roughly the same price or go online. read more

This place was a great find! It is clean and well organized and easy to shop. They have a buy back program for store credit. They have new and used really cool toys there and good choice of car seats and travel playpens. The clothes are gently used and some still have price tags on them from the original manufacture . I have saved so much money buying my 2 grandsons clothes as I do shop here for all seasons for them. I have even found clothes for me because I am a Jr. size small and sometimes they have girls size 14 which I can fit into :) although the used shoes are not very good as they are pretty worn out or not very clean but the rain boots are in pretty good shape. They do have a small choice of new shoes but not very good quality in my option. I totally recommend this store. read more

I've been going in to kid to kid for many years. Once upon a time I could not afford much of anything for my oldest daughter and their store was the only place I could afford to get semi decent clothing. Fast forward a couple years to my second daughter, I'm doing a bit better financially and am just trying to save money where I can. I'd bring in my oldest daughter's out grown clothes (5 year difference is more than I'm willing to hold on to clothes to do hand me downs), and the brand of clothing has significantly gone up for my oldest daughter. The quality is fantastic and the items are always in impeccable shape as she's disabled so she can't really wear the clothes out or even stain them. I would bring the clothes in (3-4 large garbage bags full) and they'd keep 75% of the items for sale. I'd get less than $30. That was when I stopped going there. Now, having a third child who is a boy and I'm surrounded by all of these girl items, which I was unable to sell privately, I wanted to just get rid of them and get some money for boy items. I took he remaining amount of baby/little girls clothes to kid to kid, (it had been a few years and they're voted "the best place to purchase kids" stuff). I brought in 6 full bags of top brand, pristine condition items. It took my husband and myself 40 minutes to put it all in their baskets at the store. They kept 80% and donated the rest. I got $26. That's it. That's about 10 cents per item. When I went in to look around to see if there was anything that I would buy, I came across many of the items that I had brought in. They were priced $4-18. They are pricing items close to what you can purchase brand new pieces at from target or even Macy's, and giving people who are trying to get by by the skin of their teeth less than what they are spending on gas to get to their store. They should really rethink their business policy. Their business would not be what it is without the people bringing them business. Treat them better in every aspect. read more

Ever since they came under new ownership the store has been far from a pleasant place to shop. 1. The staff is extremely RUDE every time I've been in. And are little to no help. 2. Prices are jacked way up when I know from experience they pay you the minimum when selling to them. 3. Ive seen serval clothes with holes and stains priced as if they're in excellent condition. Only since the new owners and employees!! Before then I never saw any items with flaws!! I've held off on writing a review I hopes my experiences would get better there but no. This evening was the worse. Over heard one of the employee talking smack about me for my sons snack. She took the stroller to the front to point it out the the other employees when it was clearly being used!! My sons snack and my keys were hanging from the stroller.
