Stopped by on a Thursday at 12:30. Found parking and seating. Service was not only fast but extremely courteous! Great recommendations and amazing food. Onion rings were fresh and fries were perfectly crispy. Got the chicken sandwich deluxe (I think) with cheese and slaw and the BBQ bacon burger. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. The buns were amazing and a highlight of the meal. Loved the variety of sauces. Unfortunately we devoured prior to pics since I drove home to Lakewood but we will be back and will share pics next time. Can't wait for the brick and mortar. We've been stuck on this place for the last month- It's that good! Our faves are the jalapeño burger (wished it was more spicy, but still great flavor) and onion rings with apricot sauce . The lines can be long, but they are organized, professional and we def appreciate the great customer service. Shout out to Jess for her help today! They did forget my BBQ sauce on the side, but I was able to catch it before leaving and the gentleman who noticed me assisted me quickly and even gave me extra sauce without hesitation or my asking (that's great service). Very crowded, but managed well. I got to my chicken sandwich within 10 minutes despite 12+ cars in front of me. They lost my order when I got to the window and forgot my sauce, but the food was delicious. The onion rings were battered perfectly and I had no crumbs in my bag. The strawberry lemonade also perfect, not too sweet and very natural tasting. Very impressed with the chicken sandwich. Every ingredient compliments the other. The reason I didn't do 5 stars is because during the long drive thru wait I noticed the employees having their break in a small outside area that seemed more like a storage area than a break room. Sad to think that that's the place they have to unwind from the madness of the restaurants high success. No a.c and only 2 chairs fit there. Could just imagine during summer. I hope I'm wrong and there is a dedicated indoor area for them with enough room for the number of crew members the location has. Positive: The burgers and the fries had good flavor, and the shake was good. Negative: I ordered a double classic stormburger and only got one patty instead of a double. That experience is what got us hooked and excited for the restaurant to open, hoping the burgers would taste just as good as they did from the truck. Back then, the burgers were grilled perfectly. The patties were juicy and not smashed flat or burnt, the buns were just right, and the signature sauce was applied with care, making it feel like a really well-made burger. Unfortunately, after trying the restaurant, we were pretty disappointed. The burgers we received were flattened, the bread was burnt, and the signature sauce was only given in a small amount on the side in a cup. We really miss the quality and care that went into the burgers when they were operating out of the food truck. Back then, everything felt flavorful, thoughtful, and worth the hype. Now, it just feels flat, burnt, and disappointing. I mean we do get it. New restaraunt, new and young employees , still in training. The rush hour, traffic jams, Just my two cents. When I took the first bite, my head fell back, and I immediately took a nostalgic trip back to my childhood in Dallas where we had the original Dairy Queens. The fries were exceptional, and that "Apricot Thunder Sauce" might as well be title "Apricot Crack Sauce," because it is so addictive. Storm Burger does the burger the old fashioned way just good quality ground beef, nice, fresh condiments, like lettuce, pickles, tomato, onion, and cheese if you'd like it. I think the Owner/Founder of Storm Burger has created something great. This might be the next best thing that will be a hit just like at In-N-Out! The people were so nice there and even though it was really busy, the line moved really fast. THE FOOD!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS! I went with my dad and tried their burger and chicken sandwich and GOLLY it was so good. I highly recommend getting the apricot sauce because that is so delicious. We also got the fries and the onion rings, and even though the fries are some of the best I've ever had, THE ONION RINGS were out of this world and I definitely recommend. The burgers were small and tasted unseasoned, definitely not living up to the hype I've seen from social media. Service was just okay. Shoutout to Brandon, the young man who took my order, he was polite and took the time to recommend some items, which I appreciated. However, once the food was ready, it seemed like no one was paying attention. I saw multiple orders just sitting on the counter for several minutes, and people had to approach the window to ask if their food was ready since no one was calling out names. I love this place. I love coming here, but I have a problem. The young black lady,at the last window has an attitude problem. This happened today, July 3 at 12:28 PM. She shouldn't be rolling her eyes at customers just because i asked for a cup of water that wasn't given to me in the first place even after i had told the young lady that charged me to add that and if a customer say thank you so much she should learn how to reply and say you're welcome. Overall, this was not a good experience. The first issue is parking. The front of the establishment is consistently blocked off with cones, making it impossible to park. If you're ordering for walk-up service, you'll likely have to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood or on nearby streets, which is inconvenient. After placing your order, you have to pick up your food from a side window. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to hear when your name or order number is called because of the loud music they play. To make matters worse, the wait time was unreasonable. Despite there being very few customers, I waited approximately 40 minutes for a burger and fries. This is unacceptable. Additionally, there is no seating area or restrooms. Due to the lack of organization, long wait times, and overall inconvenience of the ordering and pickup process, I will not be returning. This establishment needs to improve its system and customer experience significantly. read more
