The family was traveling nearby talking about somewhere to eat, and we all said.... "Storm Burger." So this time, I decided to try their crispy chicken sandwich. All that I can say is that I was floored by this sandwich. Look at my 800+ reviews. I know a good food place when I see one. This chicken sandwich was crispy with every bite. When I say crispy, I mean that you could hear a "crunch" with every bite of the sandwich. I ordered the deluxe chicken sandwich and got it spicy. The spiciness was not terribly hot. It was just enough to peak the interest of your tastebuds. For a sandwich that you want to enjoy, instead of suffer through, that is the right amount of spiciness. When I took the first bite, I knew that this was something special. The flavors explode on the first bite: sweet, salt, fat, savory... every tastebud was in motion. It was the perfect blend of flavors for a chicken sandwich. I've had the Chick Fil A, Chili's, Popeyes, KFC, and all of the possible chicken sandwiches out there. There were none that brought the broad depth of flavors that the Storm Burger chicken sandwich brought. I might have to say that the chicken sandwich was better than the burger.... although slightly. StormBurger was genuinely one of the most overhyped disappointments I've tried. The burger meat tasted like edible silence because not a single seasoning showed up for work. The sauces were carrying that burger on their backs, and don't get me wrong.... the customer service was great, but unfortunately I can't eat kindness and ranch for dinner. I truly don't understand the huge lines. People wait outside like there's a Michelin-star chef in the kitchen, just to receive a burger with the personality of a wet paper towel. And the way people praise this place online? All I'll say is influencers have bills too, because there is absolutely no way we all ate the same food. Stormburger is living up to the hype. I've driven past it several times and finally got the chance to try it on two different occasions and tried two different burgers. Tried the limited time tevs burger I believe it was called. Other time I tried the lightning burger. The lightning had a kick to it but was good. The fries were worth mentioning. Only complaint is there's not really parking and you can't eat here really. It's set up as a drive thru and go situation. Tried it for the first time yesterday. I ordered the double burger combo. The fries are good, and the burger was good too. I don't know if it's because of all of the hype, but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. It is also on the pricier side of $17 bucks for the combo. I remember seeing long lines at Stormburger when it opened earlier this year. It popped up on my radar again recently and it reminded me to check it out. A half year later, lines continue to be long, as I waited upwards of twenty minutes to get through the drive through. Food is made to order, and they feature their smash burgers and chicken burgers. I got the BBQ bacon burger combo, which I thought was reasonably priced. It is their version of a western bacon cheeseburger with onion strings. Familiar flavor but was surprised to have such a crispy burger. Crispy bites came from their onion strings, bacon, and meat crust; however, I felt like I was missing some sort of juicy element like tomato or lettuce, but the bbq sauce and my large soda kinda did the job. My wife's classic stormburger combo was better as it had that classic smashburger with lettuce, onion, tomato, and burger sauce. I preferred the balance of meat to veg to the BBQ bacon cheeseburger that I ordered. For sides, I got fries and my wife got onion rings. Fries were breaded with cornstarch and seasoning to give an extra crispy bite. Nicely fluffy for a thin fry. I had a few extra seasoned fries that looked like cajun fries and the seasoning on the cajun variation was a lot better. I'd order that next time! My wife really enjoyed the seasoning on her breaded onion rings as well. Overall, I'd like to come back to try their chicken and their stormburger. I don't know that I'd order the BBQ bacon burger as I wanted more variations of texture. If Cajun fries are on the menu, I'd definitely get those. Ah yes, the famous StormBurger, got to pull up here and see what all the hype was about. Got me a double StormBurger meal. Anyway I take a bite into the burger, tender meat, not the flavor I expected but not a bad burger, I can't really compare all these new up and rising smash burgers because they are all on their own category. So if we compare in the likes of Chris and Eddy's, 50Burger, Chubzies, and burgers of those sorts we get an above average burger. The fries on the other hand were just garbage, maybe if I were to come back I would get onion rings but these were almost like Rally's fries with not as much flavor unfortunately. I decided to give Storm Burger a second chance, hoping my experience would be better this time. The drive-thru line wasn't very long, and the employee who took my order was incredibly sweet. She provided the menu without assuming I knew. However, the drive-thru setup is confusing. There are two lanes that eventually merge into one, which I understand is meant to keep the line from backing up into the street. The problem is that there's no employee directing traffic or alternating cars when the lanes merge. As a result, drivers become frustrated because no one wants to let the other lane merge. Even though there were only about five cars ahead of me, I waited approximately 20 minutes without the line moving. I asked another employee what was causing the delay, and she said they were understaffed. I understand staffing challenges happen, but I also noticed three employees standing outside after one of the drive-thru lanes had been closed. If the kitchen was short-staffed, it seemed like those employees could have been helping inside instead of standing around. Since I had only ordered one sandwich, I politely asked if, once it was ready, someone could bring it out to me instead of letting it sit while I waited for the cars ahead. I explained that I didn't want to get home with a cold sandwich. The employee assured me she would do that. She was nice about it. Eventually, after all but one car ahead of me had left, she finally brought out my sandwich. Unfortunately, I live only one stoplight away, and by the time I got home, the sandwich was already cold. To make matters worse, the Storm Sauce I paid extra for wasn't even in the bag. I tried calling the restaurant, but there's no way to speak to a live person or leave a voicemail. The recording instructs customers to send an email instead, so I did. I waited several days but never received a response. In the end, I threw the sandwich away. There wasn't much point in trying to reheat a cold sandwich, especially without the sauce I had paid for. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to like Storm Burger. Unfortunately, the operational issues, long wait, cold food, missing item, and lack of customer follow-up left me turned off from giving it another try. We have been seeing this spot everytime we drive around Cherry area so we decided to finally give it a try. The line gets pretty long so it def gets you intrigued. We ordered their bbq cheese burger and a regular burger. Hubs and I def enjoyed their fries. I wish I tried more of their side sauces because they had a bunch. The kids enjoyed their fries too. Went here hopefully it would be very good. It was ok, acceptable but not great. I got the classic and husband for the jalapeño one. Classic was pretty dry, the meat was just not enjoyable because it was so dry. The jalapeño one wasn't as dry though and his was better than mine. I came on a weekday hoping to get some fast food for dinner but it became more of a long detour. It took about an hour from arrival to receiving my food. It seemed that there needs to be improvement in time efficiency. The drive through line was being manned by 4-5 people and in the pickup area there was 3 people. I'm not sure how many people they have cooking, but it was very laid back. Honestly, I wanted to not like Stormburgers food, but dang.. this place hits. Not only are the burgers solid (tried the Jalepeno Lightning) but the fries and onion rings are fried to perfection. I've been to this location twice; once when they first opened and again recently. The first time, we waited in the drive-thru line for an hour. The parking lot is fairly small, so although it looked like there were a lot of people, it really wasn't that busy. When we finally got to the pickup window, the worker handed us our food with her back turned, which was very rude. I also realized afterward that another worker was giving out coupons for free food, but we didn't receive one. During my recent visit, the line had died down, and we got our food within five minutes. I mentioned that during their grand opening week I had waited an hour and didn't receive a coupon. The worker said, "Oh, let me get you one; please drive forward." Then another worker approached us and said they didn't have any more, and rudely asked if we had everything we needed in our order. Again, no apology. Just another rude interaction. Both times, I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and I really enjoyed it. The bun is soft, the fried onions are crispy, and you can taste the bacon in every bite. The patty is flavorful, but on the drier side, which some people may not like, but I personally do. The onion rings are also good, but $4.99 for a small serving (about seven pieces) is overpriced. The fries are good as well, lightly seasoned and crispy. Overall, the food is good, but the customer service definitely needs improvement. read more

I had the most amazing experience at StormBurger. This is my kind of burger joint, 10/10 all around. Don't be intimidated by the long lines, they moved us through quickly. The double cheeseburger was full of flavor, perfectly greasy and cheesy without being sloppy, just an all around great classic cheeseburger. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the chicken tenders were crispy and really good as well. The strawberry lemonade was sweet and seriously so nice and refreshing. Finally got a taste of this smash burger :) Line wasn't too hectic on a Sunday afternoon. Menu was handed to once you pull in the drive through lane. I went with the double classic combo. Didn't have to wait to long to get the food. Everything I ordered was in there. Took a bite of the burger and it was good. Fries a bit salty to my liking. Peach tea was fine, not too sweet. This was my third time picking up food from Stormburger and the food is consistently good. We always get their burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and onion rings. Their proteins are delicious but I'm a sides girl at heart and fortunately for my taste buds--unfortunately for my hips--their sides are awesome! The first time when I ordered from the walk up window a sweet young woman was giving out samples of their milk shakes; their chocolate milkshake is perfection. But what I really wanted to highlight is the staff that helped me on the early evening of Thursday, June 30, 2026, when my 24 year old Honda Odyssey started making loud groaning noises and was sputtering smoke and literally just died out right as I was about 3 feet from the drive thru window. My van had overheated and it wouldn't start up and three Stormburger employees helped me move my minivan out of the driveway and get it to a safe spot out of the way. They were all helpful and kind and I never had the sense that they were feeling annoyed or judgmental. They were all just ready and willing to help a lady out. The young woman who was handing out the orders even brought the order out to me at my van while I was waiting for my husband and the tow truck. The Stormburger security guard helped my husband and the tow truck driver move the van into the right spot so it could be loaded onto the flatbed. I was a little flustered and worried about the only brand new vehicle I have ever owned so other than a few quick "Thank yous" that I said to the Stormburger staff members that helped me at the time I didn't get a chance to go back and thank them before we left to follow the tow truck home but I truly appreciate their assistance and great attitudes and, of course, the tasty and comforting food. read more

I tried this establishment for the first time on 4/4/26 in the evening. The drive thru line was unimaginable, thank goodness for the online ordering option. There are approximately 5 companies you can choose from to place your online order with no fee. The wait time ordering online was about 15 minutes vs 30 + minutes in the drive thru.. Per armed security we had to find a parking spot on the street, which we did and walked over to the pickup window. I ordered a turkey burger $9.99, and a double classic storm burger combo with a strawberry lemonade. $15.49. There is an up charge for the strawberry lemonade of $2. I wasn't expecting 2 juicy turkey patties on my sandwich. The bread was fresh and delicious! The burger was delicious and juicy also. I ordered the fries "no salt"and unfortunately they were salted. *I took off a star due to the salt on the fries* The lemonade was very sweet but adding water fixed that and it was perfect. Overall the food was good. Everyone seemed to be on their best behavior waiting patiently. Music was being played on speakers and lots of people watching. They probably should have opted for a bigger location with parking and the ability to handle 2 drive through lanes with ease. This was going to be our first time here. Since we weren't familiar with the menu, I pulled into a parking stall that had a sign partially blocking it -- I didn't want to sit in the drive-thru lane while we figured out what we wanted. A worker came out and motioned for me to back up. My wife surprised me with Uber Eats from this place and I'm sure it would have been a little fresher if I ate it there vs having it brought to me but I got to say. What a wonderful delicious lunch. First off I started with the onion rings and yes they might have been a little cold but the panko breading made them so different then your normal run of the mill onion ring. 10/10. Next I tried the chick tenders and boy they make any other chicken tender look bad. Great fresh tasting chicken. Didn't taste frozen and the cornflake type breading gave it a great texture and flavor and last but not least had the double cheeseburger with all the fixings. So with the distance it took to deliver it was a little soggy but still one of the best burgers I have had in a minute. The sauce on the side was ok chicken 10/10 and the burger 8/10 due to how wet it got traveling to me and I know the driver stopped at a few places doing multiple orders at once. I will definitely be back. My one criticism is everything needed a little more seasoning. A little salt and pepper go a long way. read more
