Steak is missing toward the edges.
Jihoon A.

This place is close to my work, so I go here every other day. It has okay customer service, fairly quick and friendly. However, they cheap out on the premium sandwich contents. The steak melt I ordered was half the thickness I get from the Torrance location near my home.

Would you eat this wrap ? Avocado ?
Yajaira D.

I ordered a wrap which came with guacamole or avocado not sure but to my Surprise it looked like meat or poop! Check the picture and you be the judge. Luckily I work near by so of course I drove back and asked for a refund. The older gentlemen who I'm guessing is the manager or owner, if it's a franchise, said they had a "bad batch of avocados" shipped to them. I'm sorry but I wouldn't have EVER tried selling such avocados. The girls working gathered to the side room which made me believe that they clearly knew what they tried to do. I wonder how many customers they did this too and never returned to say anything.

Today's service was the worst!!! I came in and requested the rotisserie style chicken Caesar wrap. The girl that helped me was Jennifer and she seemed lost as if she didn't know what that was. She asked which one again and I repeated the rotisserie style chicken Caesar wrap. She asks "so you want the sesame ginger glazed chicken?" I said no I want the last one on this list of wraps and pointed to it and repeated once again the name. At this point the girl at the register tries helping her understand which one. They ask me what kind of chicken I want . Umm, how about "ROTISSERIE STYLE"? I tell them they usually give me the rotisserie style and point to it, trying to stay nice. So she starts making the wrap and I kid you not, she scraped the last bits of cheddar cheese from the container and I'm thinking she would take out a new refill for the cheddar and put some actual cheddar on my wrap and not just cheddar crumbs But nope she leaves only crumbs and continues to add the chicken and all my toppings. I tried to snap a picture because I was about to lose my sh*% but that's when she quickly added the chicken so I didn't quite catch it. I was on my lunch break and didn't have much time or energy to say anything. I know I'm not crazy either because I've ordered this wrap about a dozen times before only difference is the girls working there knew exactly what they where doing and greeted their customer with a smile, fast service, and knowledge of the menu.

Ii was really push back from all the reviews but decided to go anyways it was actully a good experience the workers were really nice and friendly she was paitent with em as well ii dont go to subway often ii would definitely go back

Gypped me on the ham. I ordered to go, so I had to get back in my car and drive back to the store.

Before I start the review, I have to say that I go to this Subway pretty regularly. It's close to my work and the food quality is just like any other Subway. You have to keep an eye on the the employees making your sandwich. I ordered a Ham foot-long sub, and when I got back to my work... I discovered the sandwich had practically no meat in it. I debated whether it was worth it to drive back and show them. I took a few bites and it tasted like a vegetarian sandwich. So, I got back in my car and drove back to ask them. It turns out that they are supposed to put 8 slices of ham on a foot-long as opposed to 4 slices on a 6-inch. They employee only put 4 slices on my sub. I attached pictures to show you what this looks like. They fixed the sandwich, but it did require me to make an extra trip back to the store. I find it difficult to believe that the employee did this by accident, because as she's laying the ham on the sandwich, it's visibly obvious that something is not right. You can see between the layers of ham.

My New Go-To Coffee Spot -- You HAVE to Try This Place! I…read morewas just recently introduced to this little gem, and I am so glad I was! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, cute, and incredibly welcoming -- the kind of spot that instantly feels like your place. The drinks are on point. I've tried the iced coffee and the matcha, and both were excellent -- not overly sweet, not watered down, just really well done. But what truly won me over? The breakfast sandwiches. I had a croissant sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese, and it was chef's kiss -- fresh, high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and packed with flavor. Not a single corner cut. And the service? Amazing. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. That kind of hospitality is rare and it absolutely elevates the whole experience. This is officially my new coffee spot, hands down. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee or sitting down for a full breakfast, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won't regret it!

CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING Was looking for a breakfast…read morespot and came across this place. It was about a 20 minute drive from home so I was hoping it was worth it. Walking in the ambiance was regular typical cafe. The customer service was traditionally basic. I ordered for 4ppl and when I arrived home I noticed my order was partially wrong. I ordered 2 bacon avocado toast, 1 avocado toast and a grilled cheese. They forgot the bacon on one of the avocado toast. And 2 of the 4 drinks weren't full. As I mentioned it was about a 20 minute drive so I just took the loss. The taste of the food was ok for 2 of the ppl other 2 ppl one being myself was kind turned off with the missing bacon and half full drinks so I basically trashed my meal. I'm aware humans make mistakes but that alone doesn't make me want to rush back to this location. I do want to mention something good about this place I did like how they dressed up the avocado toast with the egg on the side.

It's truly a hidden gem. Once we sat down and placed our order, that's when the smell of the food started coming through, and it made the wait even more worth it. I ordered the pulled ham sandwich, and even though it sounds simple, the flavor and combination of everything, especially with the yuca fries, was really impressive. The spicy sauce they give on the side is also really good and ties everything together. My partner got the green chicken pasta (I can't remember the name), and that was just as delicious. Definitely something I'd order again. We also tried the arroz con leche coffee, which was amazing. I'll probably try it with caffeine next time since we came closer to closing for dinner. The space is ambient and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful when explaining the menu, which makes a big difference when you're not sure what to get. They also have free parking outside, it's handicap accessible, and there are restrooms available. One thing to note--it's a cashless place, so make sure to bring a card. Both were really good and very filling--definitely didn't leave hungry. The house-made ham was a standout, and the Chimu chicken has a great specialty seasoning. It came with a side sauce that was really flavorful; I love spice, so if there was any heat in it, I couldn't really tell, but the flavor was definitely there. Next time I'll ask if they have a Rocoto sauce for a bit more kick. Solid spot for authentic Peruvian flavors and huge portions. I'll be back.

Honestly, Long Beach has more wine bars than most surrounding areas, and since the South Bay is packed with breweries, if you're tired of beer this is your sign to switch it up. You will not regret it. The food menu has cheese boards, salads and sandwiches, and everything I've had here has been delicious. The cheese boards are better than sex. There is seating indoors and outdoors. It's minimal, but somehow we always manage to find a table. The service is consistently great and the owner is wonderful. She will be leaving soon and she will absolutely be missed, but what she has built here will definitely be cherished. The new owners fell in love with the place, so you can expect it to be well taken care of and to remain just as charming. The server (owner?) asked if we wanted cheese and Cole slaw, and that's how we got it. The sandwich was big enough to share so if the sandwich seems pricey, consider sharing. Although on a hungry day, I could probably eat it all with no problem. Dilly's has a fairly decent amount of craft beers on draft. I wasn't in a beer-drinking mood so I didn't look too closely at the list. I love it when restaurants support local brewers, and this looks like the kind of place that would do just that.

Heard about Dilly's Sandwiches having the most unique rotating set of beers on tap in Long Beach,…read moreso had to come to try it. The taste portions were very reasonably priced, allowing to create your own flight (or two). Specifically scheduled an early afternoon to come to the Lakewood Village neighborhood of East Long Beach. My wife found an angled parking spot right in front. It wasn't too crowded inside and the four of us found easy, comfortable seating in the brightly decorated dining room. One places and pays for the order at the counter, with the proprietors being very friendly and engaged. They brought out our beers after the pour, and the sandwiches a bit after (since each is individually carefully made). Beers: - Northern Lager [Oxbow] - ($5 for 13oz pour) was clean, crisp and a hoppy aftertaste. - Infinite Hotel [The Wayfinder X Bierstadt] (marked as $3 but charged $4) is a rice lager and was the favorite of the group for its drinkability - Winteruption [JK's Farmhouse] ($3) is a cider with very strong maple syrup overtones: never tasted anything like it. - Hyper Paradise [Rare Barrel] ($4) - saison and ale with mango and passion fruit. I liked this beer very much. - A Place Like Home [Pure Project] ($3) - Nitro poured Extra Special Bitter. - Double Negative [Grimm] ($4) - Imperial Stout, which I really enjoyed. - Amongst Friends [Sante Adairius] ($4) - a cherry saison, unusual and was glad to sample. A lot of work was put into creating this flight, with the careful pours and markings to make sure I knew what was what. I really appreciated the opportunity to sample all of these on-tap. In terms of the food, the group as a whole really liked them, though I guess I wasn't as impressed with my two samples, mainly because it used non-descript deli meat in OK quantities, heating them up when necessary. Hot Beef ($18) was my wife's, and it had been griddled with cheese to form a crispy lattice. The Ham and Cheese ($16) was served cold and had potato chips inside which my mother-in-law liked (saving the other half for home). Our friend and I split the Hot Turkey ($16) and Pastrami No 19 style ($20). The pastrami meat was piled high and the cole slaw was crisp and good, but was served cold (should have read the description more closely) and mediocre rye bread broke apart quickly. The Hot Turkey ($16) was served on ciabatta that had been grill pressed for a long time, creating a wonderful crust as good as any sandwich I've had. But the filling was OK, using standard turkey breast slices from a loaf and an ok stuffing...using hand carved turkey would have made a big difference here, but understand it's hard to do. Strangely, even though it's a pickle adorned shop, each sandwich just came with an ordinary pickle spear, what one would expect from a diner, not a deli. And the prices are on the higher side, especially with no sides and most not being particularly ginormous. But I loved how each sandwich used different breads, and how some of them were toasted very well. And having the opportunity to try these unique beers made it a really good experience.
