My wife surprised me with Uber Eats from this place and I'm sure it would have been a little fresher if I ate it there vs having it brought to me but I got to say. What a wonderful delicious lunch. First off I started with the onion rings and yes they might have been a little cold but the panko breading made them so different then your normal run of the mill onion ring. 10/10. Next I tried the chick tenders and boy they make any other chicken tender look bad. Great fresh tasting chicken. Didn't taste frozen and the cornflake type breading gave it a great texture and flavor and last but not least had the double cheeseburger with all the fixings. So with the distance it took to deliver it was a little soggy but still one of the best burgers I have had in a minute. The sauce on the side was ok chicken 10/10 and the burger 8/10 due to how wet it got traveling to me and I know the driver stopped at a few places doing multiple orders at once. I've heard lots of good things about this place. Their drive thru is organized, two young ladies taking order, very polite and thorough. Right off the bat I have to say, I've never had a smash burger and this was good burger, I'm not sure if I liked the meat falling out when I opened up the wrapping of my classic burger. I received the bag quickly, but left right away to not clog up the drive through, as it's not a huge space. The materials are high quality - the cup for my soda was sturdy, and the bag was surprisingly thick, which signals to care and quality. However, my order ended up COMPLETELY wrong. My turkey burger was supposed to have ONLY cheese and onion, and it had just sauce and tomato. That said, it was juicy, well seasoned, and the bun was good. Also, I ordered 2 extra dipping sauces for the fries, and they never made it in the bag, so I was out $2. The soda was crisp, so that was a good thing. The fries were crunchy, and piping hot, which is AMAZING. I'd just say that there was a bit TOO much Cajun spice. I came to Storm Burger expecting high expectations from the reviews. I have read come to find out. I was very disappointed. The burger had no structure. It was soggy and laughed a little of the meat flavor. Everything in there was wilted. I know I had to travel about 15 minutes to my destination to have the Burger, but when I did, it wasn't a good experience the marketing was top-notch as far as the bag to the soda cups to the Burger box. But for $22 I expected more I would much have rather went to Five Guys or get two In-N-Out meals for that price. I finally went to StormBurger in Long Beach. I'd have to say, it was pretty good. I decided to go for the onion rings rather than the fries. The onion rings were the best I've had. You could taste that they're homemade and their special seasoning was flavorful and crunchy. The Bacon BBQ burger was a mess, saucy and greasy and was barely holding itself together, but the taste was very good though the patties were a little dry as if they had been precooked and waiting around. People had posted about their special fries but they are just standard starch-coat frozen French fries- I was told I should have gotten the onion rings instead. $13.99 wasn't bad for the combo, the onion rings instead of fries would have set me back another $2.00. Once the hype dies down and they get settled in and the wait is manageable I'll be back for another try. read more

For many weeks now my family and I saw how crazy packed the lines were for this place and we wondered if it was good. We finally decided to give it a try for dinner one night and it definitely lived up to the hype! The meat in the smash burger was more on the well done side which I actually liked even though I usually order medium rare burgers. The crispy bits was actually really good. My only con is that the burger is extremely greasy, so be prepared with some wet wipes to clean yourself after eating it. The standout was definitely the French fries! a bit more on the salty side but I loved how flavorful and crispy the French fry was but still soft inside. Stormburger has been on my radar for the last two years, but I've never had the chance to visit their original location in Inglewood. Fortunately, they opened a food truck right down the street from my boyfriend's house, so we finally gave it a shot the other day. They're located off Cherry and South, where a Church's Chicken used to be. It does get a bit busy sometimes and on both visits our wait time ranged from 15 to 20 minutes. Good food takes time though so that's totally fair. On both visits, my boyfriend went down to order for us, and he mentioned how great the service was. He said the staff were very friendly and attentive. They're currently undergoing construction and will soon turn into a brick and mortar. Ambiance-wise, they currently offer a few outdoor tables for those who prefer to eat there. Onto the food, I got the Jalapeño lightning burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. It was packed with jalapeño's and loaded with their green lightning sauce. Highly recommend. The fries were also good and crispy. They tasted sort of like battered fries, which I very much enjoyed. On my second visit, I ordered the exact same thing and I noticed a slight difference in consistency: my burger lacked sauce and peppers, and my fries were limp and lukewarm. I want to assume that I maybe went on an off day, or that it was because we arrived an hour before closing. Whatever the case, I'll continue to support this local business, but going forward I'll probably ask for extra sauce and well-done fries. On a side note, one of the days we went, they happened to be sampling their new turkey burger and gave us one on the house. I typically hate turkey, but wow -- it was really good, to the point that I'd actually consider ordering one in the future. Super juicy and flavorful. Yo!! The fries a really good. It's flavorful, the texture is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I didn't even use ketchup. I haven't had good fries like that in a while. I also got the Classic Stormburger, it's fresh and the bun is really soft and good and the burger is juicy. And it's affordable. This place is really busy. The line for the drive thru is long and every time I drive by I'm like "nah I ain't that hungry". We decided to park and just order from the window. Stopped by on 3-19-26 as it was highly recommended by my son and nephew. My family normally go to the Inglewood location. The Long Beach recently opened this spot. There was 12 of us placing one order and Estrella was patient and courteous while taking our orders. Our order totaled to $180.54. There were several hiccups when we noticed we were missing several drinks and I was given another customers order in error. It was correctly fixed once we brought up to the person at the window handing out food. All of us collectively enjoyed our burgers, fries and drinks/shakes. Would I come back? Heck yea when I'm in the Long Beach area. FYI: There are NO sitting areas to enjoy your food. Either you eat your food standing up, eat in your car or take your food home to enjoy. Stormburger was a great experiences for me and my colleagues who were looking for a yummy place to go for lunch! I got the Classic Combo with fries and a Strawberry milkshake and it was all so good! The burger was very fresh, the fries were crunchy and not too greasy, and the milkshake was deliciously sweet! Unfortunately I got too full to finish the rest of my food but I definitely see myself coming back! My only complaint is the parking was a bit confusing, nowhere to sit (you have to stand) and the music was loud where we were eating. I was super excited for this place to open up in our neighborhood. I came on the first day and it was super packed. They closed down the drive thru and told us to come back but I ended up finding parking and ordered through the walk up window. It's their first week opening so lines and wait times will be long but it's totally worth it. We ordered the bbq burger, deluxe chicken sandwich and I got a plain kids burger for my son. Everything was delicious! Their peach stormade is a must try. The strawberry one is also good, classic strawberry lemonade but peach was better. Despite all the bad reviews i read i had to come pull up for myself , we came Saturday night around 6:50 PM - line took about an hour ... the kid that took my order was named anthony he was so polite and explained the menu well. We got 2 double cheeseburger combos , one w onion rings & one w fries . One strawberry lemonade and one peach , also added chicken tenders to try . Everything was absolutely amazing , like honestly worth the hype... id probably pass on the chicken tenders next time but they're still a solid 7/8. The sauces are definitely made in house we tried the ranch & avo creama ... even the storm sauce was different 1000/10 . Notable was the heavy duty to-go bags with our order providing insulation for the 15 minute drive home with no grease ladened soggy bag upon arrival. Came out hot and fresh so best to eat right away. Prices were decent not overpriced for a whole combo. In my case, I just ordered the burger by itself which costed $7.99. Highly advised to go when it opens. I've heard my friends waited in the drive thru for 45 mins. It's popular right now since they are fairly a new location.
