Jalapeno Lightning Burger. Lukewarm and patty was dry. Fries are very crunchy but lacking in flavor.

Maybe it was just so hyped up, maybe it was because we got it delivered and the burgers were ice cold. Either way, it was not what we had hoped for. We ordered the spicy chicken deluxe, jalapeño burger, two, single patty classics, onion rings and fries. Onion rings were the stand out item, the only thing that was warm, surprisingly. They had great crunch and flavor, super yummy. Spicy chicken deluxe had a nice crunch but the slaw was too sweet it overpowered everything; I did not enjoy. The classic smashburgers were very cold but I could forgive that since, as I mentioned, it was delivered. Regardless, the patty wasn't juicy or flavorful and neither was the cheese. At least the lettuce, tomatoes and onions were very fresh! Jalapeño burger was ok. I'm not a fan of Swiss cheese. I would give them a second chance maybe, but I'd go in to check out the place in person and I think I'd only try the classic burger again, hopefully it's better fresh. From the outside, the building looks cute and clean and the parking lot is usually pretty busy.

I came on a weekday hoping to get some fast food for dinner but it became more of a long detour. It took about an hour from arrival to receiving my food. It seemed that there needs to be improvement in time efficiency. The drive through line was being manned by 4-5 people and in the pickup area there was 3 people. I'm not sure how many people they have cooking, but it was very laid back. Honestly, I wanted to not like Stormburgers food, but dang.. this place hits. Not only are the burgers solid (tried the Jalepeno Lightning) but the fries and onion rings are fried to perfection. I probably won't be coming here after a long shift, but for sure would have this again (if I can avoid a line.)

I've been to this location twice; once when they first opened and again recently. The first time, we waited in the drive-thru line for an hour. The parking lot is fairly small, so although it looked like there were a lot of people, it really wasn't that busy. When we finally got to the pickup window, the worker handed us our food with her back turned, which was very rude. I also realized afterward that another worker was giving out coupons for free food, but we didn't receive one. During my recent visit, the line had died down, and we got our food within five minutes. I mentioned that during their grand opening week I had waited an hour and didn't receive a coupon. The worker said, "Oh, let me get you one; please drive forward." Then another worker approached us and said they didn't have any more, and rudely asked if we had everything we needed in our order. Again, no apology. Just another rude interaction. Both times, I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and I really enjoyed it. The bun is soft, the fried onions are crispy, and you can taste the bacon in every bite. The patty is flavorful, but on the drier side, which some people may not like, but I personally do. The onion rings are also good, but $4.99 for a small serving (about seven pieces) is overpriced. The fries are good as well, lightly seasoned and crispy. Overall, the food is good, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.

So, my family lives around the corner and they have been waiting for the hype to go down so I coaxed my sis to walk up there. It was a wait, but not bad. We ate our food, but was it sensational, it was aight. Was it pricey, well it was what to he expected... Check out my photos for the visuals. We had munchies, we ate it but were not blown away per se. Maybe need to try something else

Line was packed on Sunday night. Highly recommend to just park in another lot and walk up to the window and order. We waited 15 minutes for our food versus the hours we could've waited in that drive thru line. The burgers and sandwiches were all great here. I cannot understand how this place makes a profit by keeping these prices so low and quality so high. Kudos to the owners for figuring it out. All items were great here. The deluxe chicken sandwich was the only photo I got. Chicken was crispy and the sauce was delicious. Bbq Bacon cheese burger was incredible too. Very flavorful and had a lot of different textures to make it exciting. Love storm burger and really really advise you to just park instead of going through the drive thru.

I had the most amazing experience at StormBurger. This is my kind of burger joint, 10/10 all around. Don't be intimidated by the long lines, they moved us through quickly. The double cheeseburger was full of flavor, perfectly greasy and cheesy without being sloppy, just an all around great classic cheeseburger. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the chicken tenders were crispy and really good as well. The strawberry lemonade was sweet and seriously so nice and refreshing. Ooh, and I was ecstatic to be given a sample of their chocolate shake. She saw my excitement as I chugged it down and was kind enough to give me a second one. 10/10 customer service. Cool music and vibes even for a drive thru. I need more StormBurger in my life!!

Finally got a taste of this smash burger :) Line wasn't too hectic on a Sunday afternoon. Menu was handed to once you pull in the drive through lane. I went with the double classic combo. Didn't have to wait to long to get the food. Everything I ordered was in there. Took a bite of the burger and it was good. Fries a bit salty to my liking. Peach tea was fine, not too sweet. All in all the burger is delicious. I believe going with the combo is a little pricey. Stick to the burger and you'll be good.

I tried this establishment for the first time on 4/4/26 in the evening. The drive thru line was unimaginable, thank goodness for the online ordering option. There are approximately 5 companies you can choose from to place your online order with no fee. The wait time ordering online was about 15 minutes vs 30 + minutes in the drive thru.. Per armed security we had to find a parking spot on the street, which we did and walked over to the pickup window. I ordered a turkey burger $9.99, and a double classic storm burger combo with a strawberry lemonade. $15.49. There is an up charge for the strawberry lemonade of $2. I wasn't expecting 2 juicy turkey patties on my sandwich. The bread was fresh and delicious! The burger was delicious and juicy also. I ordered the fries "no salt"and unfortunately they were salted. *I took off a star due to the salt on the fries* The lemonade was very sweet but adding water fixed that and it was perfect. Overall the food was good. Everyone seemed to be on their best behavior waiting patiently. Music was being played on speakers and lots of people watching. They probably should have opted for a bigger location with parking and the ability to handle 2 drive through lanes with ease. I forgot to get a picture of the double classic storm burger and fries.

My kids highly recommended I try StormBurger because I love a great Smashburger. This joint replaced an old churches chicken. It's right on the corner of south and Cherry and the heart of North Long Beach. I really enjoyed the look and feel of the logo and colors that they use. They have walk up windows to order if you don't want to hit the drive-through, but parking is limited. They opened at 11:30am and I got there 15 minutes after to find the parking and drive-through packed. When I arrived a fire truck parked right in front and loaded their whole crew to order lunch. Despite the craziness, they had a very cool security officer who was directing the traffic and he was doing an amazing job. There are two lanes for the drive-through and I commend the managers for having the workers outside with tablets taking orders to keep the drive-through flowing smoothly. The line took about 20 minutes, but I also know that there was a difficult customer ahead of me that was unsure of their order. Other than that, they were as organized as can be. As soon as I hit the window, my order was ready. We ordered two combos of their western bacon barbecue burgers with a side of fries and onion rings and their strawberry lemonade. I ordered a classic cheeseburger. The kids had me asked for thunder sauce, and when I asked the worker what it was, she described it as an apricot habanero and let me tell you, it's fire! So good! I really enjoyed the classic cheeseburger. It was exactly that, a classic cheeseburger with all the flavors. The strawberry lemonade is so fresh and taste homemade, the strawberries in the lemonade were perfect. Their fries and onion rings are pretty classic and traditional. Unfortunately, one of us wasn't able to finish their burger because we found a big black piece of garment thread in it, but when I message the restaurant via IG and let them know about it, they seem sincere and apologized. I just wanted them to know so that they were aware. Things happen! I'll have to go back and order something different next time. I see they have chicken sandwiches I want to try.

: 30 minutes in the rain--was it worth it? We stopped by during a bit of rain. Even with a long line, things moved at a steady pace and we had our food in about 30 minutes honestly better than I expected for the crowd! * The Service: Huge shoutout to the young lady taking orders. It was raining and hectic, but she was incredibly sweet and kept a smile on her face. Things got a little chaotic near the pickup window (the guys in front seemed a bit disorganized at first), but they eventually found their rhythm. * The Eats: Deluxe Chicken Sandwich: Really solid! The standout for me was the kale slaw it added a great crunch and flavor. * The Storm Burger: Hubby really enjoyed this one. * Fries: 10/10. They arrived hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. * The Drinks: The Strawberry Lemonade was the star of the show super refreshing. Minor Note: The honey mustard had great flavor, but it was a bit on the runny side. Verdict: It might not be a "life-changing" culinary experience, but it's a very "cool" spot with reliable food. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and craving a burger

My first time visiting Storm Burger this morning. All I can say is the food is nasty. I purchased the turkey burger combo. I requested for the meat patties to be well cooked (done). The meat was not well cooked. The burger was sloppy put together. I did not have a good experience for this to be my first time eating at this establishment. I prefer to go to Marathon Burger or In-N-Out.

I finally went to StormBurger in Long Beach. I'd have to say, it was pretty good. I decided to go for the onion rings rather than the fries. The onion rings were the best I've had. You could taste that they're homemade and their special seasoning was flavorful and crunchy. The burger was the double patty (smashed) with a nice flavoring, and, of course, served with iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion, and their special homemade sauce. It was a pretty good burger.

I'm not sure if the hype set my expectations a bit too high, but my experience was just okay. I ordered the Chicken Deluxe--it wasn't bad, but it didn't really stand out, especially for the price. I paid $33 for two combos, which felt a bit steep for what we got. My son ordered the Classic Double and really enjoyed it, so that was a plus. I went through the drive-thru, and it took about 30 minutes to receive my order. To be fair, I did visit on a weekend afternoon, so that likely contributed to the wait. Overall, I wasn't overly impressed this time around, but I'm open to giving it another try once things settle down. Hopefully, the experience will be better on my next visit.

And the service? Amazing. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. That kind of hospitality is rare and it absolutely elevates the whole experience. My wife found an angled parking spot right in front. It wasn't too crowded inside and the four of us found easy, comfortable seating in the brightly decorated dining room. One places and pays for the order at the counter, with the proprietors being very friendly and engaged. They brought out our beers after the pour, and the sandwiches a bit after (since each is individually carefully made). Beers: - Northern Lager [Oxbow] - ($5 for 13oz pour) was clean, crisp and a hoppy aftertaste. - Infinite Hotel [The Wayfinder X Bierstadt] (marked as $3 but charged $4) is a rice lager and was the favorite of the group for its drinkability - Winteruption [JK's Farmhouse] ($3) is a cider with very strong maple syrup overtones: never tasted anything like it. - Hyper Paradise [Rare Barrel] ($4) - saison and ale with mango and passion fruit. I liked this beer very much. - A Place Like Home [Pure Project] ($3) - Nitro poured Extra Special Bitter. - Double Negative [Grimm] ($4) - Imperial Stout, which I really enjoyed. - Amongst Friends [Sante Adairius] ($4) - a cherry saison, unusual and was glad to sample. A lot of work was put into creating this flight, with the careful pours and markings to make sure I knew what was what. I really appreciated the opportunity to sample all of these on-tap. In terms of the food, the group as a whole really liked them, though I guess I wasn't as impressed with my two samples, mainly because it used non-descript deli meat in OK quantities, heating them up when necessary. Hot Beef ($18) was my wife's, and it had been griddled with cheese to form a crispy lattice. The Ham and Cheese ($16) was served cold and had potato chips inside which my mother-in-law liked (saving the other half for home). Our friend and I split the Hot Turkey ($16) and Pastrami No 19 style ($20). The pastrami meat was piled high and the cole slaw was crisp and good, but was served cold (should have read the description more closely) and mediocre rye bread broke apart quickly. The Hot Turkey ($16) was served on ciabatta that had been grill pressed for a long time, creating a wonderful crust as good as any sandwich I've had. But the filling was OK, using standard turkey breast slices from a loaf and an ok stuffing...using hand carved turkey would have made a big difference here, but understand it's hard to do. Strangely, even though it's a pickle adorned shop, each sandwich just came with an ordinary pickle spear, what one would expect from a diner, not a deli. And the prices are on the higher side, especially with no sides and most not being particularly ginormous. But I loved how each sandwich used different breads, and how some of them were toasted very well. And having the opportunity to try these unique beers made it a really good experience.

I got the Tony Hawk sandwich which is turkey, honey mustard, avocado, and provolone cheese, typically served on Dutch Crunch bread with "dirty sauce" which is how I got it. It was warm and had this sweet sauce taste to it. Got the Bayou blackened ranch chips and vanilla soda drink to go with it. Everything was delicious and the cashier was so helpful. I am excited to go back and try other sandwiches!

So disappointed because the concept sounds great but the food was just sooooo BLAND…read more Our first sandwich was the Elvis and it was absolutely flavorless except for the wasabi. The bread had no flavor, the chicken had no flavor, all that you could taste was wasabi. Our second sandwich was the Rawson Thurber and again it was very bland. The bread had no flavor the turkey had a little bit of flavor, all you could really taste was the cranberry sauce. This is high concept fast food, with lots of different ingredients, yet the final product is sorely lacking. In contrast, Jersey Mike's is low concept fast food, just basic subs. However, all the ingredients that go into their sandwiches are loaded with flavor......the bread, the meat, the sauces. On a positive note, they give you big portions, the staff is friendly and efficient. Won't be going back.

I hate nothing more than to struggle bite my bagel. Here, you can assemble your own concoction or choose from a list of re-made options. I ordered the Desi ($11.75) simply because I was curious about the hollowed out bagel situation. I suppose this is the healthier of their options because it comes with egg whites. It also comes decked out with bacon, avocado, jalapeño, cream cheese + lemon pepper. I chose a Parmesan bagel as my vessel and it was a very tasty breakfast bagel. There were hints of lemon pepper which was an interesting flavor addition. For a more traditional breakfast bagel, Joe's Special ($10.50) was quite special. It's a bacon, egg, cheese, jalapeño cream cheese + lemon pepper breakfast bagel. This was a very solid breakfast bagel without the usual accompanying grease. Again with the lemon pepper lol. They also offer an extensive drink selection which I appreciate. I'll definitely be back to try their lunch bagels or to simply pick up bagels for home.

The pineapple added to what's basically a Cuban style sandwich sounds different at first, but it works perfectly. The balance of sweet, savory, crispy, and smoky was spot on. Ended up finishing the whole thing because it was that good. Service was friendly, food came out quick, and the whole spot had a really chill local vibe.
