Stopped by on 3-19-26 as it was highly recommended by my son and nephew. My family normally go to the Inglewood location. The Long Beach recently opened this spot. There was 12 of us placing one order and Estrella was patient and courteous while taking our orders. Our order totaled to $180.54. There were several hiccups when we noticed we were missing several drinks and I was given another customers order in error. It was correctly fixed once we brought up to the person at the window handing out food. All of us collectively enjoyed our burgers, fries and drinks/shakes. Would I come back? This review is solely regarding the initial drive through ordering. Just came home and our order was incorrect. When I looked at the receipt on the bag, I seen that a spicy jalapeño burger was inputted instead of the Deluxe CHICKEN sandwich I wanted. Mind you, the order was repeated. I take fault I did not double check the order receipt when the bags were handed to me. Unfortunately for me, this is the second time this happened. I'm not sure if the hype set my expectations a bit too high, but my experience was just okay. I ordered the Chicken Deluxe--it wasn't bad, but it didn't really stand out, especially for the price. I paid $33 for two combos, which felt a bit steep for what we got. My son ordered the Classic Double and really enjoyed it, so that was a plus. I went through the drive-thru, and it took about 30 minutes to receive my order. To be fair, I did visit on a weekend afternoon, so that likely contributed to the wait. Unbelievably rude service, false accusations, and cold food at the Long Beach location I came to Storm Burgers in Long Beach after working an exhausting 17-hour shift to buy food for my child. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked a worker about my order. She dismissively told me she was prioritizing online orders first. When she finally handed me my food, the onion rings were cold. I asked for fresh onion rings and placed the bag back on the counter. She immediately snapped at me in an aggressive tone, saying, "I'm canceling your order and giving you your money back." I told her I did not want it canceled because my child needed to eat. She rudely replied, "You may not want to, but I'll do it anyway." Other cashiers saw this and called the manager. When I explained what happened, the worker outright lied and accused me of throwing the food at her face. I told the manager to check the security cameras to prove she was lying. I was super excited for this place to open up in our neighborhood. I came on the first day and it was super packed. They closed down the drive thru and told us to come back but I ended up finding parking and ordered through the walk up window. It's their first week opening so lines and wait times will be long but it's totally worth it. We ordered the bbq burger, deluxe chicken sandwich and I got a plain kids burger for my son. Everything was delicious! Their peach stormade is a must try. The strawberry one is also good, classic strawberry lemonade but peach was better. I'll be back to try their onion rings and their lightning burger once it slows down a bit. Prices are also very reasonable. Also the apricot thunder is a must try. Stormburger has been on my radar for the last two years, but I've never had the chance to visit their original location in Inglewood. Fortunately, they opened a food truck right down the street from my boyfriend's house, so we finally gave it a shot the other day. They're located off Cherry and South, where a Church's Chicken used to be. It does get a bit busy sometimes and on both visits our wait time ranged from 15 to 20 minutes. Good food takes time though so that's totally fair. On both visits, my boyfriend went down to order for us, and he mentioned how great the service was. He said the staff were very friendly and attentive. They're currently undergoing construction and will soon turn into a brick and mortar. Ambiance-wise, they currently offer a few outdoor tables for those who prefer to eat there. Onto the food, I got the Jalapeño lightning burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. It was packed with jalapeño's and loaded with their green lightning sauce. Highly recommend. The fries were also good and crispy. They tasted sort of like battered fries, which I very much enjoyed. On my second visit, I ordered the exact same thing and I noticed a slight difference in consistency: my burger lacked sauce and peppers, and my fries were limp and lukewarm. I want to assume that I maybe went on an off day, or that it was because we arrived an hour before closing. Whatever the case, I'll continue to support this local business, but going forward I'll probably ask for extra sauce and well-done fries. On a side note, one of the days we went, they happened to be sampling their new turkey burger and gave us one on the house. I typically hate turkey, but wow -- it was really good, to the point that I'd actually consider ordering one in the future. Super juicy and flavorful. Tried this place after seeing how busy it has been. The burgers, fries and onion rings are very good. The only concern is the location. It's on a very busy street and right on the corner causing some safety concerns if you are using the drive thru. I recommend you park down the street and walk to the window to place your order. Traffic can back up using the drive thru and I can see someone getting hit by another car driving to fast or not being patient. But the food is good, I would go back for sure. read more

Been seeing this burger joint on social media. Friends shared it in their IG stories when they made a visit. Was curious what the hype is all about, therefore drove up to the north side of Long Beach. Been craving for a good smash burger and this spot was it. I arrived about 5 minutes before opening time which was 1030am. There wasn't much of a parking lot, but found a small one next door. A line was forming so quickly as it opened. I'm just glad I got there early. I was the second person in line ordering at the window. The bacon BBQ burger was a little dry, but needed their famous sauce to enhance it better. Came out hot and fresh so best to eat right away. Prices were decent not overpriced for a whole combo. In my case, I just ordered the burger by itself which costed $7.99. Highly advised to go when it opens. I've heard my friends waited in the drive thru for 45 mins. It's popular right now since they are fairly a new location. Unfortunately, the drive-thru experience left a bad enough impression that I'm seriously reconsidering returning to this location. When I arrived, there was only one drive-thru line open, so I got in line and waited like everyone else. After several cars had already been waiting, a second lane was opened. The problem is that newly arriving customers were able to enter the new lane and effectively move ahead of people who had already been waiting in the original line. As a customer, that doesn't feel fair at all. If there's a system behind it, it certainly wasn't explained or communicated. The result was watching cars that arrived later get served before customers who had already invested time waiting. Great food, but the drive-thru feels like a game where the rules change halfway through. Customers who had already been waiting in line watched newly arriving cars get served ahead of them once a second lane opened. They are currently operating out of a food truck while they renovate the actual building that's behind it. Burgers were pretty good. Fries are the nice crispy on the outside kind. So what sets this place apart? It's solid. Single classic cheeseburger is $5.99. They make it fresh. And best of all, service was superb from every employee there. The first three times we've ordered pick up from here was great, but this last time was really disappointing. They forgot half of my order, and the taste of the food was not anywhere it was in the beginning. The chicken strips tasted like there was zero seasoning, just straight oil and breading. I've tried Storm burger twice. Once through the drive thru and once via delivery. Both occasions the FLAVOR does not miss. The onion rings are hands down the best onion rings I've ever had. The smash burgers are excellent, my only exception would be to order dry with the sauce on the side so you can meter the amount of sauce you want. Fries tasted good but not as crispy as I like.
