The store is small and clean with a youngish staff and chill ambiance they're ready to take your order with a nice attitude. I decided on a large The Original Italian dressed Mike's way it's made with thinly sliced salami pepperoni provolone cheese ham prosciutto and cappacuolo lettuce thinly sliced white onions and tomatoes a drizzle of vinegar oil salt and pepper I added white cheddar a little mayo pickles Italian relish spread and crispy bacon this sandwich was huge I immediately regretted ordering large regular would better suited my small stomach this big boy set me back $29.00 including a chocolate chip cookie. Drooling alert y'all ....... It was worth every penny it was tender and flavorful deliciousness upon deliciousness and absolutely hands down one of the best sandwiches that I've eaten in 2024 and in the last five years. If you like Italian sandwiches make yours exactly as mine is it's soo good you will thank me. Chocolate chip cookie I know what you're thinking it's just a cookie lies you tell this mother f...ing cookie is the bomb it was tender and buttery and packed a bunch of flavor in each bite I immediately regretted not buying that 3 pack they had at the register they're so good. I mobile ordered for store pick up at 7:00. I went into the store at 7:10 and there was no one up front. All of the staff was in the back. One employee came to the front and was apologetic as he hadn't even noticed there were multiple mobile orders. He asked me to wait a few minutes and I was okay with that. I waited as he made my sandwich, I did not pay much attention to him making my sandwich because all my specifications were identified on my mobile order ticket. Once I got home and opened up the sandwich the bread was some kind of cheese crusted bread with flakes of some kind of herbs coming off of it. I specifically put white bread in my order, as I do not like other breads. I took one bite just to try it and I did not like it at all. I ended up not eating the rest of it and throwing it away. I've never had a bad experience here. I order the giant so that I can eat the other half as another meal later. My go-to's are the OG Italian, the Club Sub or the Tuna. I like going in-person to watch them make it and add what you want but I've ordered online and had no problems with my pick-up orders. The shop is clean as well. read more

I just moved in from Scottsdale Arizona and I was looking for local food spots Friday afternoon, I was in there plaza in the morning and had blue burro next door for breakfast so I came back to try the jersey mikes. Although I had a jersey mikes around the block from where I lived, my experience here was so much different! For starters, the employees here work so much faster than the employees at my previous jersey mikes. They are also much friendlier and more attentive than the dope heads back home. I'm not sure if it's the fast paced California life or if the team is just really well trained! The crew welcomed me in and was super nice. The gentleman wearing the brown hat, which I assume was the manager gave me a free cookie and welcomed me to the neighborhood after I told him I just finished moving here to Long Beach. The restaurant itself is extremely clean and the bathroom is the cleanest I've ever seen at any food establishment I've ever been too. I typically order the club sub with avocado its what I always order and my wife always get a turkey with avocado. Get this though, here in California they have what they call a CALI CLUB! it already comes with Avocado and bacon at a set price! I have always paid extra for both of these toppings. I'm glad they mentioned this when I was ordering as it's now something I'll be ordering every time I come in. The only downside is that the menu items are about a $1.25 more than they are back home and the parking lot in this plaza is horrible! Overall my experience so far has been great and I loved the environment here, I will be coming in again soon! I might walk here next time to avoid the parking lot. read more

Literally the LAST time I'll ever select this Jersey Mike's location. For starters- I'm a simple customer. Jersey Mike's offers sandwiches with preset ingredients. Ordered a #8 Club Sub which includes provolone, bacon, ham, Turkey, and Mayo. I like my sandwiches Mike's way with jalapeños. Simple, right? Well the person who made my sandwich today didn't know the ingredients for a #8. Not gonna lie, I was more than half way through one half of my sandwich and was like, "hmmm this sandwich is missing something". I check the other half of my sandwich and alas, no bacon :(. But hey, we all make mistakes right? I'm like, "no big deal I'm sure Jersey Mikes will make this right. Well folks, this is how the employees of this location made it right! They couldn't even be bothered to at least put the bacon inside the sandwich OR provide a new wrapper. It's not often I come to Yelp over stuff like this but I feel upset and down right disrespected. I had ordered extra meat and had paid extra and I had ask the guy if that was extra meat and he said it was when it wasn't he put only one layer of meat and that's what you call pay extra with one layer of meat? I'm from Jersey and grew up on Jersey subs. I had high hopes for this place but was really disappointed. No comparison to the subs made in NEW JERSEY. It was OK, but for the money not worth it. They did not have an Italian sub sauce or dressing, they only had sides of oil and sides of vinegar which was not real red wine vinegar it tasted like regular vinegar with food coloring in it, not a good taste at all, tasted like medicine. The meat and cheese did not have much flavor and the turkey was like cheap deli processed lunch meat and I could not even taste it. Tried 2 different locations and both were not worth it. When I asked why the gentleman in line behind got his sandwich before my husband, I was told it's because "it didn't have lettuce and tomato on it". Not a good experience. I purposely went further to this location because of the better reviews. I was visiting my sister at the hospital and thought I'd pick up jersey mikes beforehand. I walked up and said hello to Manny and he never responded back. He turned and walked away for a 2nd and I was asking him questions about the bread just to get him to maybe warm up a bit. I tried to be super friendly because sometimes that's one someone needs. Nothing was working. He was making my sandwich and I asked for extra tomatoes. He sloppily put tomatoes on where it wasn't covering the sandwich in big gaps and the ends to where it definitely wasn't extra or even close...so I asked him for extra on the corners and he threw one tomato on there..I asked him for more on the opposite end and he puts it in the middle huffing and puffing as if he was annoyed and as if though it was such a HUGE task for him. So I finally got annoyed and said what is your problem? I've never experienced such terrible service at Jersey mikes. Why all the eye rolling and huffing and puffing. He began to smile and become sarcastic. I told him that if you hate your job that much why not find one you actually enjoy? The sandwich had globs of Mayo in some areas where he didn't bother spreading. It was nothing like Jersey mikes I've had in the past. For nearly $20 for a sandwich I'd rather take my money elsewhere.
