Another brunch here. Got the omelette this time. The salsa added a nice touch. Ate much more than I normally do for a brunch.

Meat Lovers Pizza

Was driving down lemmon ave a few nights ago and saw this spot and decided to give it a try. The pizza was good and i enjoyed the thin crust cut, I would give it a 7/10. The restaurant had a very laid back, dive bar type vibe which was exactly what I was looking for and the service was pretty quick.

Had a great time at the stoneleigh P while watching the Stars game. It was a fun time, especially with the game protected on a screen so everyone has a good view. The staff was super attentive and very friendly. Makes it feel like you're in a neighborhood pub. The food is pretty good. I especially like the buffalo wings. They're pretty juicy and big! I also had some of the hatch chile queso. It was more on the creamy side, not very thick, but I do like it that way. Also, I upgraded the fries to garlic Parmesan and they were really good!

Gave it a try today. The staff was friendly and the service was good. Most of our food was cold and the black beans were served in a small soufflé cup...just stingy and weird

I already loved Stoneleigh P in its old location, but I love it even more at the new location! Lucky for me, I can walk there. The staff is always on top of it and the bar food hits the spot, I already want to come back for the wings soon! Stoneleigh P is definitely a dive bar/sports bar vibe, so don't come here expecting anything fancy. Most of the bad reviews seem to be from people who don't quite get the concept of a dive bar. They also have plenty of TVs and a big projector for games. Go Mavs!!! There's a reason it's been around for so long, so be sure to come check out their new location!

GREAT happy hour spot. Got 6 drinks 2 orders of the happy hour wings (6 per order) and a quesadilla all for $44. The wings were phenomenal and the quesadilla was good. We will definitely be back again

Ok quick run down first for those quickly perusing Yelp trying to make a quick(Accurate) hangry decision! Go!!!!! Great Hamburgers and strong drinks reasonably priced in a vintage building with great people running the place. This place has been around for decades. Lets just say all of the people living in Uptown werent even born when they opened. Now, its looked at as a dive. I guess it is in part but, more importantly its old school. They still have a grill behind the bar with a plastic letter marquis style menu overhead. Its worth the trip just to see that one of those is actually still standing in Dallas Texas 2021! Located in a great part of town you can count on getting a strong adult beverage to wash down your superior food. Happy hour is happening so inside is going to be loud but people watching is extraordinary. There was a company having an after hours function when I was there so it was interesting to watch in a Loud way! They have a patio outside thats getting hot but in the evening when the sun goes down its ok. Easy, free, although limited parking. Check it out you wont be sorry

I love the P! It's always a good time with friends new and old. Hang out play pool, or have a smoke in the covered patio.

An unsafe situation happened and it was handled poorly. The staff needs better training. Not a safe space to be in.

Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

I ordered the Deviled Avocado (their play on the Deviled Egg). First it looked so cool and the avocado was the base and instead of the creamy egg it was a chick pea cream with some salt and seasoning. It was topped with onion straws. OMG it was really good. I really loved it and the texture was similar to deviled egg. For my main dish, I got a fresh kale salad with ranch dressing. It also had chick peas croutons. The ranch was light and very good. The kale was crisp and the chickpea croutons were unique and crispy. It was large enough for two. I also ordered a side of fresh cut fries which were cut thin. It was crispy and lightly salted. I can't skip in ordering fries especially if they look good. And looks matched the taste. The service was great and she kept checking on us. The tallow fries that came with were warm, not hot, and just ok. I was expecting more. I would not order fries again. Others ordered the brussel sprouts, mashed tators, all were very good. And lastly a falafel burger. It was pretty tasty. All in all a great place. I think the execution for some of the menu items were off, so maybe warrants another visit.

We tried the hot honey pizza the last time we came and tried the Barnyard this time around and O M G! It was so so great! The buffalo bites are also a hit for us, mainly because they serve a lot of bites and not just 5-6 like most places! Of course, we couldn't leave without trying their festive drinks! My boyfriend enjoyed a hot peppermint tea while I got to try their sugar cookie martini and their Espresso Manhattan! The Sugar cookie martini definitely took the cake! 10/10! It's got that airy, high-ceiling energy that's perfect for getting work done without feeling like you're trapped in a cubicle. The Vibe: It's cool without trying too hard. You'll see local art on the walls and plenty of natural light. By day, it's a laptop paradise with lo-fi beats; by night, the lights dim, the music picks up, and the patio becomes the place to be--especially if you have a dog in tow. Happy Hour (3 PM - 7 PM Daily): This is the real draw. Their Espresso Martini is a local legend, but the Chocolate Espresso Martini is the move if you want something decadent. If you're there on a Tuesday, they run happy hour prices all night. Don't sleep on the $5 pimento grilled cheese--it's the ultimate "I'm not that hungry but I need a snack" food. The People: Expect a very "Lower Greenville" crowd: a mix of productive millennials, SMU students with headphones on, and groups of friends sharing s'mores kits (yes, you can roast them at your table). The staff is laid-back and friendly, though they definitely stay hustling during the weekend brunch rush. The night started beautifully--we enjoyed espresso martinis at the bar and were then seated at one of our favorite tables. We ordered a bottle of wine and caviar and were settling in to plan the rest of our meal when the experience took a turn. A tween/teen birthday party was seated in the private room. At first, we assumed the noise was just initial excitement and would settle after a few minutes. The parents of the birthday girl were seated nearby, and when the mother got up, we expected she might ask the girls to lower their volume. Unfortunately, the opposite happened--she brought the group out into the main dining room for photos, where the noise level became even more disruptive. Another couple seated near us--at what is typically a very desirable table--lasted no more than five minutes before asking to be moved outside. Shortly after, a manager approached the private room. We anticipated they would address the noise, but instead, they greeted the party warmly and thanked them for being there, without making any effort to manage the disruption. After so many consistently great experiences, it was honestly shocking. We truly felt as though we were being punked. My boyfriend and I both have children and enjoy bringing them to nice restaurants, but part of that experience includes ensuring they understand and respect the environment. When that standard isn't upheld--especially with no support from management--it significantly detracts from the experience for everyone else.
