Their caesar salad dressing is so good! It's thick, creamy, and garlicky. It's good on their caesar salad but also amazing as a dipping sauce for their breadsticks. I'm not a huge fan of their pizza but I do like their bbq chicken and tri tip. I also like the roasted cauliflower dish. This place gets super packed so plan accordingly! worst service ever! I ordered over the phone and came to pick it up around the time they said it was done and parked for curb side pickup. I had to wait 20 mins just for someone to come to my car and had to call first. Someone finally came and took my payment and came back with a receipt. I then wait an ADDITIONAL 30 mins with no update, no 'we're still making your food' nothing at all. I called again and they said they must still be working on it. I waited another 20 mins, at this point they were technically closed and I went inside to check on my order to find it had been ready and was now cold. Then they had the NERVE to ask for my payment like I didn't just pay. I waited over an hour for one thing of COLD pasta, with horrible customer service and communication. Then on top of that, I got nothing to eat my food with even though I requested it. Extremely disappointed and upset, do better stonefire. I would NOT suggest coming here. I'm so disappointed considering there were so many workers there, many of which I watch leave after closing while my food was getting cold. read more

We came here the other evening. We spent about 56~ on food and sat down. Once we sat, some of our food came, starting with the breadstick and the salad. I had ordered marinara sauce for the breadsticks and I told the girl who brought it to my table. She says "oh well maybe it's coming when they bring the rest of the food." Ok then... that doesn't make any sense. So we wait finally the rest of the food comes. My BF goes to grab us utensils and brings it back. Excited and hungry to dive in, I see dried food specs on my knife. Kind of like when someone does a bad job cleaning at home and doesn't know how to do the dishes. I'm surprised that a franchise restaurant had such low standards for the cleanliness of the utensils. Drop 56$ on food to go get dirty utensils? You have got to be kidding me! That disgusted me and ruined my appetite. I ask him to go grab a different knife and fork, he comes back. Go figure, these ones have a little bit on it too. Someone is doing a super poor job cleaning these. What in the quality control is going on here??!! I tell the server and she gives me an attitude when I upsettingly told her I would like to speak to a manager. Well go figure again, manager never came. Also, before I even told her what the problem was, she blurted out "the utensils are dirty?" So she already knew before I even mentioned it. Clearly there is an issue here if she took the words right out of my mouth. Well she never told the manager to come and gave us attitude. I ask someone else after waiting and finally the manager comes. I explain to her what happened and she did not really seem to care, but offered a refund immediately. I do appreciate that, but you can tell she too did not give a care about her job (like manager, like server right?). She offered to let us take the food home , but honestly my appetite was way gone. Especially after the attitude, waiting around for manager, forgetting my marinara sauce, and seeing dirty utensils. Honestly during covid times, something like that is completely unacceptable. Love Stonefire Grill!!! It is fresh and has amazingly healthy options for my eating plan. My favorites are the BBQ Chopped Chicken or Tri-tip Salad and the Garlic lemon chicken - yummmy!!!! Really everything I've tried from all their veggies to sandwiches are awesomely gooood!!! And when I have a cheat meal I get their ribs, mashed potatoes or pasta, breadsticks and their Chocolate Chip cookie that has some special ingredients that make your mouth water -- (700 plus calories) so I don't eat it often :-) Stonefire is da bomb!!! read more

And we specifically order our tri tip well done. We have a few members of our family who will not touch the meat if very pink. This is the 2nd time both orders of our tri tip was so pink. I wanted to give this restaurant a better review since the service was exceptional, but the food just was not. Three of us came and ordered 2 salads and a french dip sandwich. One of the salads came out with extremely overcooked chicken. When we had returned it, it came back with some overcooked chicken, but shadowed by the copious amounts of raw chicken in it. This was extremely uncalled for. The other salad was fine, and the french dip sandwich was average. I really wish the food was good since this place deserves a better review. I was extremely eager to try this place because it seems that a lot of people like it. We showed up and it was complete chaos inside. There's no clear system and the workers are pretty careless. As a first time customer it is confusing as to how to order and their seating arrangement. Once we received the food it was cold and low quality. It didn't look good or taste good either. I could've made better tasting food at home. I paid over $50 for this meal and for another $20 I could've gotten a better meal at a real restaurant. I do not see why this place is rated so high. Food isn't great at all, sides are average at best...i just don't see it. I went today for the first (and last) time after always seeing it but never really knowing what they had. After looking at the menu online, it looked good! Can't go wrong with properly cooked tri tip, mashed potatoes, and vegetables right?? Keyword is properly cooked. Meat was just bland. The bbq tri tip was better than the other one (not sure what it was supposed to be but it was bland). Ive had and make great tri tip so i was disappointed. Mashed potatoes weren't garlicky and roasted veggies weren't roasted. They were more like undercooked and thrown on the grill for grill mark aesthetics. Please be aware that this location is completely sold out for 2022 Holiday Pre-orders. They can only fill 300 each day. Wonderful that this business is successful and seemingly fully recovered from the Pandemic. However, after advertising a Holiday pre-order special TODAY online, when I went to the location to order it for my family ( well within the 48 hour pre-order window) they said it's NOT possible to pre-order. The GM of the location refused to take my order, and suggested I try "day of" to see if they have anything left. Truly horrible experience!!! I can not believe how poorly managed it was to simply pick up a pre-paid online order placed several days prior. Last time we had a pick-up order it was over 40 minutes late (should have learned then) but this time was unbelievable! To give context -- it was a Mother's Day, so we understood it's a busy day for restaurants so we had expectations for a little extra wait but this was unbelievable. Order was supposed to be ready by 3:15pm, so we showed up 15 minutes early per the recommendation of an employee over the phone a day prior to confirm the order... INSTEAD, we waited in a ridiculous line in the hot sun for over an hour and a half, with no accommodation, no place to sit or wait for food that should been ready to go! Poor communication, sheer chaos and utter lack of transparency with an astonishing number of NEW orders being taken in person and on the phone while they're 1-2 hours delayed for pre-paid online orders that were still unfulfilled!! Now our order was for a large gathering so we couldn't just cancel the order and find somewhere else to order takeout on such short notice (although had they comminuted how long it was going to take we certainly would have) but I can not understand how a business can run like this? Our food ended up arriving two hours later than expected for our gathering, poorly packaged, cold, mediocre and portions (other than the salad) were significantly smaller than usual... I really can't get over it, why continue taking in new orders while your current paid customers are waiting for hours in line for food that was supposed to be ready? To be fair, the employees themselves were kind but clearly exhausted and overworked and it seemed to be a manager that was continuing to allow new orders to be taken in... needless to say, I'll never step foot in this place ever again. read more

My daughter decided to order Beef Birria nachos and south of the border salad Family size while we waiting for the other nine. We are so hungry. The Cobb GF salad so delicious and Same we with nachos. Avocado are fresh same with all veggies, Tri tips cook at the right texture , corn roast at the right way not too hard. Finally, after an hour the other nine show up. We start ordering 3 order of Tri Tips , Pesto, bread sticks, Grill Chicken, baby back ribs, 2 order of Caesar salad because they ate all our nachos and South of the border salad. Hmmm everything are so delicious especially the bread stick so soft and hot. I know Olive Garden their bread sticks are free but Stone fire you need to pay for it. staff are very courteous , they keep checking if we are in need of anything else. All were good, They forgot to bring the mac n cheese, had to ask, they forgot to bring serving spoons, there were no regular spoons to be found. We finally got some. The staff just seemed a little in experienced. The bathrooms were not gross, but vandals had taken a toll. Repairs were amateur, and presented a possible safety hazard. I do know hard it has been through covid, and how hard it is to get employees. I hope the owners are involved in trying to get back to normal. read more

Normally I love this place but today I was just upset and disappointed. My wife was really freaked out after todays meal. Unfortunately we had our meal at home and I wasn't there to make a formal complaint to the manager. The chicken we received was raw and bloody. My wife and I didn't have chicken but we gave it to our one year old and when we realized, his shirt was covered in blood. He bit into the bone and blood came out. I warn you, check your food before you eat it. We are really hoping that my son doesn't get sick from this! I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because I called into the restaurant and the manager Erica was very understanding and apologetic. My wife and I visited this place on the recommendation of some co-workers. Yikes. We ordered: a pulled pork sandwich, a pasta meal (with garlic bread sticks and a caesar salad), and carrot cake for dessert. The pulled pork sandwich came out first and was not bad, but they shoved one of the toothpicks all the way through my sandwich which I found in the middle of the meat. Annoying, but at least the sandwich tasted fine. The garlic bread and caesar salad came out after the sandwich and both were pretty bad. I don't know how you can mess up garlic bread and caesar salad, but there was no flavor...at all. Just tasted like cardboard. The pasta took 40 minutes to come out - we had to ask someone to check on it before we actually got it. Also ended up being bland. When we asked about our pasta, we also asked them to bring out our dessert. Apparently that message got lost because we had to ask someone else 20 minutes later. This location is not up to par with the Stonefire brand. Food is always *mostly* correct, with small errors that are just annoying like missing an ingredient in a salad. But what really irritates me is time and time again, they send the stingiest amount of bbq sauce with delivery orders. Although he was not hired to cater the event, he set up the chafing dishes and made sure the meats were well-seasoned before he left. Unfortunately (fortunately?) we probably have enough extra food to last through the summer (or, with 2 teenage boys @ home, at least a week). I'm so disappointed to be writing this review. I've visited several stonefire locations since the establishment opened many years ago. West hills one being my favorite so far. Stonefire food is usually reliably good with decent pricing. My favorites are the Mac and cheese & tri tip. I ordered today the ultimate crowd pleaser set which is a $90 meal designed to serve 6+ people. Upon arriving to pay the hostess she was cold and rude. I asked for bbq sauce and ranch to go & she brought back two tiny ranch packs. I asked for more and she glared at me & said she'd need to charge me .99 cents more for extra ranch. I've never been charged for ranch at stonefire, and much less I've never been given so much attitude at a stonefire. Always enjoy coming to this place. My family and I have been enjoying their food for years now and we always leave satisfied. Food wise this place is phenomenal for the price. The trip tip special feeds two you don't have to break the bank to enjoy a great meal. The Caesar salad is a winner, along with the bread stick along with medium tri tip. I come to Stonefire pretty often. This place never fails at impressing me. There could be a line out the door, packed busy and the service is still great. The food is so bomb! We always get the special for 2. It's always plenty of food, even some we don't finish. We get the bbq tri tip with Caesar salad and breadsticks with a two topping pizza for just $27!!!
