Second time dining here and I always love the big plate serving, baby back ribs are tender and a must have! Our server, Mario is great. he even refilled my drink 3x. Place can be noisy but fun to spend time with friends and family. Restroom is not that tidy with all used paper towels all over the place. Otherwise, it's a good spot since it's few steps to the mall.

Service is usually consistent which I like. I like their bread rolls, onion strings, and the baby back ribs. I recently tried their pull pork which was alright. Their buffalo cauliflower is good!

Come to this location often, great spot to take customers for lunch meetings. Love the BBQ at Wood Ranch, tri tip, BBQ chicken, ribs, I have not had anything I have not loved. The BBQ really makes it even tastier, one of my favs. The fresh baked rolls are a great start and just keep them coming IMO. Their peanut slaw is also always part of my sides, as you can see, I have lots of favorites here. Service is always attentive here, food comes out fairly quick, they keep the drinks filled and the bread basket full. Need more sauce, just have to ask. They do a great job. They have a full bar inside, decor is very ranch style, feels like an BBQ spot when you walk in with a bit upscale flare. Great for lunch or dinner, dine in or to go, food is always great. Recommend you try them out if you have never been. Sorry I did not get many pics on this one. Was with a client and would have been tough to get the pics I normally like to, next time. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful family dinner on a Sunday night at Woodranch. Excellent customer service by our waiter Ian as well as the hostess that took us to our table and seats. We didn't wait long at all. As soon as we checked in the young lady, our hostess asked if where we would like to be seated inside or outside and we chose outside. She walked us right away outside. Our table and area was great. We were also next to a big heater. Our order consisted of the Buckeye Burger, James Crispy Chicken Sandwich, BBQ Sliders, Cab Cheeseburger Sliders, Idaho Baked Potato and Lauren's Mac and Cheese and Corn. Both the Buckeye Burger and Cheeseburger Sliders were tender and not over grilled. The beef was medium rare. The James Crispy Chicken Sandwich was huge and it was crispy and tasteful. Loved Lauren's Mac and Cheese and it was perfect with the Idaho Baked Potato. We also informed Ian our waiter regarding the food allergies in our party and he was very attentive and made sure to let the kitchen now about it. He also made sure when he brought out our food items to let us know that none of our order had any peanuts nor tree nuts in the ingredients. We look forward to eating at Wood Ranch again.

I ordered the Buckey Burger with Mac and Cheese and had a Tarantula Hill Liquid Candy beer. Our server Ian was well attentive and gladly checked with the kitchen about our food allergy. The Buckey burger was perfectly grilled and juicy. Bbq sauce was nice and smokey and not too sweet. The beer was a nice companion to the burger. The mac n cheese was delicious. Creamy and not dry. It was early evening and not too chilly so we opted to sit outside. It was nice and the tables were well kept. A very enjoyable dinner.

I came here with my family for a bit of a reunion and were seated quickly. Lighting was typical of a steakhouse. Seating was comfy and it wasn't very loud. I don't remember the name of my waitress but she was very patient with my uncle who was very slow at speaking due to his age. Food didn't take long to arrive and it was spectacular. The pulled pork was so tender and my sides were a baked potato/corn on the cob. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. They brought us an ice cream Sundae for my uncles birthday. I used that pulled pork for two days of left over mixed with other pasta and vegetables and it was still so delicious. This trip only made me want to go to wood ranch more often!

One of my San Fernando Valley favorites. Note: it is one of the few chain/franchise bbq restaurants that offers beef ribs! Came here with my husband and sister-in-law. Our server, Ashley, was friendly and polite. As always, dinner is off to a great start with warm, soft buttery rolls. Cocktails are nice here. The Old Fashion seemed to be the most frequently served. Surprised they couldn't make a Negroni - they no longer stock Campari. Tried the Berry Smash which was refreshing and satisfying. We ordered a half-order of onion straws, 2 rib and roasted chicken combos (sides were fries, peanut coleslaw and baked beans) and 1 order of ribs plus the Natalie salad. Their coleslaw is my favorite of all with a light, sweet and tangy vinaigrette, peanuts and scallions. As usual, I ordered my ribs crisp, sauce on the side, but this time they were too crispy aka burnt. The chicken also was a little too charred although I hadn't requested any changes. Everyone else's order was fine. The restaurant has ample seating and accommodate large and small groups. A little too cold to sit on the patio at night but we look forward to warmer weather. Overall, a good evening with the exception of the overcooked meat.

Great family-friendly restaurant to visit before or after shopping at Northridge mall. They offer complimentary garlic rolls that are warm, fluffy, and served with a side of barbecue sauce. My favorite starter is the crispy buffalo cauliflower, it's delicious and comes with ranch, buffalo sauce, carrots, and celery. I also ordered the Caesar salad with chicken which is available in both half and full portions. It was fresh and perfectly dressed. Our server was super sweet and attentive.

Came in on a Saturday night with no wait time for a party of 4 Our waiter Jr was upbeat, checked in as needed, and overall pleasant. Nothing but positivity. Our group ordered a full slab of baby back ribs, brisket, Asian chicken salad (one size- large) , and the kids chicken tenders. First off the complimentary garlic rolls are soft and buttery! Good and keep em coming. The meat was falling off the bone and surprisingly the breading on the tenders was light/crispy/flavorful. The salad was refreshing, I enjoyed the jicama crunch and sweet mandarins, plus there was plenty of chicken tossed in as well. Overall, pretty good dinner.

Great, great, great experience! Make it a 4.5 stars! 1/2! PARKING: plentiful and free! Large mall parking lot! SEATED: fast, zero wait! STAFF: Attentive, friendly and polite! FOOD: Really good! Portions (the salmon was) a bit small but tasted great! Biscuits were good as usual! AMBIENCE: Quiet and peaceful (except for the friend I was with ), natural daylight, nice big, comfortable booths! Will definitely go back, had a wonderful time! No issues at all and the prices were very reasonable! Cool spot to go on a Saturday afternoon around 12p!

Browsing Northridge Fashion Center, my friend and I eyed Wood Ranch, and I agreed to revisit after not having been for over a decade. One of my favorites is their free garlic bread. Our original server was great and always checked in on us, from taking our order to checking in on if we wanted more bread. I ordered the combo brisket and baby back ribs with mac and cheese. The brisket was a bit tough / dry. Since it was thin, it was edible, but the dipping sauce was fairly sweet, making it less enjoyable. The baby back ribs were also lightly brushed with a very sweet sauce. The meat, however, did fall off the bone like the server had described. Halfway into our meal, another server came to check in our drinks, one at a time, and then dropped them off in the incorrect order. Towards the end of the meal, I went in to finish the mac and cheese, which my friend had also ordered. We agreed that it was fairly thick though runny, but there was a missing ingredient, almost as if it were missing a kick and could be better. Overall, service was great, but the food left a little more to be desired.

David the manager was exceptional he was attentive to everyone including us. I watched him go up and down and deliver food plates like clockwork. Not just managing but all involved It was impressive, the food was good and ambiance awesome. Would definitely come back! Danielle was also sweet and attentive, checking in on us every 10 minutes as it should be despite having multiple tables.

Mmmmmmm their prime rib is yummy!!

As always, like seriously this place is our favorite Bbq place!! We just love how they bbq their meats and the flavors is just so yummy that I don't know how to describe it. Service is always wonderful too! Fun casual atmosphere!! Still love their portion sizes!! No skimping here!!! Yessss! Love love love! Oh! Also...I'm so happy they still have their Asian Chicken Salad...it is my go-to when I am eating "healthy" LOL! It's also so delish!

We were seated right away. I really liked the modern decor and casual ambiance of the restaurant. Service was prompt and our server was very friendly and personable. Drinks came out quickly. Appetizer was almost instant. We tried the cornbread with honey butter and jalapeño jam. Delicious! Though the cornbread was a tad dry. We shared a picnic platter with Memphis ribs, bbq chicken, and brisket. Everything else was flavorful and delicious. The brisket was good but a little disappointingly dry. The mac and cheese side was delicious. The jalapeno grits were bland. I would have added some cheese and a sprinkle of chive on top for a more appealing appearance. They just looked like slop. My favorite item was the bbq chicken. I'll definitely just get that next time. We ordered the butter sheet cake for dessert and it was amazing! So moist and buttery, and topped with the caramel or toffee ice cream. A must try! Overall, I enjoyed Gus's and would definitely return.

Basically every employee we interacted with was attentive, friendly, and greeted my mom and I with a smile. Our waiter, Fredi, walked us through the menu since it was our first time visiting and truly provided the best experience for us. The restaurant has a great vibe and was very clean, spacious, and modern. The theming is spot on, and I loved the space as a whole. The food was absolutely fantastic, the deviled eggs were a highlight. The blackened Cajun catfish sandwich was unique and flavorful, and the french fries were out of this world. Honestly, all of the sides were incredible! This is officially my new favorite Caesar salad in the Valley: so fresh with really unique flavors. Fredi also kindly offered to split the salad into two plates for us since we were sharing, which was much appreciated. Before being seated, we had an interaction that left us feeling a little uncomfortable. While waiting by the host stand, manager Ashley was repeatedly calling out "table for Maria" while looking directly at my mom and I and motioning toward us. After she said it a few times we indicated that we were not that party, and she appeared surprised. It may have been unintentional, but since we are Latinas, the assumption felt a bit off putting and left a strange impression at the start of our visit. Besides that, the night ended on the sweetest note because Fredi brought out a sundae for my mom to celebrate Mothers Day. He is such an amazing waiter & we hope to come back soon!

We hadn't visited since February, 2020. Before the pandemic might as well have been 10 years ago, if the world shut down 6 years ago. We were overdue for a followup visit. Judging by how the food went down, we were sore for it. We ordered the Big Tex: four meats and four sides - tri-tip, brisket, pulled pork and links; kale greens, bbq beans, mac and cheese and fries. We opted for the cornbread in the roll slot. It should be the top meats in your order, by premium scale and availability, but more often than they should be, the brisket/tri-tip selections are, 90%, obligatory orders. I think I have a love/hate relationship with the way LA treats the pepperoni pizza of bbq meats. Swinging Door broke us off proper though. Not too fatty. Great tenderism. And the accompanying sauce complemented the smoked all stars, rather than compensated for lack of flavor. Didn't stop me from loving their Whiskey bbq sauce though. The beans were a true bbq side, swimming in a mild sauce and containing lovely chunks of link. And the kale greens - sheesh - I think they might've switched to kale since our first visit. An effective exercise in alternative ruffage that holds seasoning and jucies for a similar bbq/soulfoud bite. We live further away now. Took the food to go, to prevent the intermittent rain from foiling more of our plans. It traveled well. And since I'm using our leftover bbq sauce on every other meal I cook, I'd say we successfully made do with our lunch substitute.
