I found parking easily in the plaza this place is in, they were not busy at all when we walked in. My wife got the Cajun Atlantic Salmon with Cajun fries and salad. I Cajun Atlantic Salmon with double salad for my mom to go. We sat inside and waited for our food to come. It didn't take long for my wife food to arrive. You get a good portion of salmon, fries and salad. She really like it and when she was close to finishing her meal, they brought my mom order. After you finish eating, you leave your plate there and they'll come clean it up. First time feeling like I got ripped off here. Ordered 4 piece Fish and Chips with slaw to go. HORRIBLE! It was at 3:30 Yesterday (7/21) so not busy. Got home and 3 OUT OF 4pieces of fish were over cooked and the 4th was old and twice as dark fried as the other 3 cooked pieces, the only thing good was the slaw. Had to trash the fish and the fries! Waste of $15.99 plus tax. So disappointed we go about 1 to 2 times a month and have never had a bad meal. Love it here!!! The place is always nice and clean. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in the door. And last but not least the crispy fish tacos are freakin amazing!!!! The tacos are always fried fresh to order. They come with a lil orange sauce, cabbage, and pico. Doesn't need anything else. Just like that they're great! First fish was crispy white fish, second the Cajun salmon and third the grilled white fish. Got the cabbage and chipotle cream on the side. Tomatoes were fresh and great. I've been here a few times and the food is always good with fast and friendly service. The grilled shrimp (garlic butter) with salad and zucchini is my go to meal. Best beer battered fish tacos I've tried in the SFV so far. So glad we gave them a try. The fish doesn't taste super fishy & the crunch on the outside was perfect. The fish & chips were okay, not much flavor & wouldn't order them again. But their tartar sauce had the perfect flavor to dip the tacos/ fish in and they have good fries to order as a side. In a nutshell - the food was okay, maybe slightly better than average. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming, so that was a plus. The ambiance is virtually non-existent, and actually was depressing. Living in the Southland, we've been spoiled by having some great seafood places to enjoy fresh fish. I appreciate the newer trend of having no frills pescatarian options, but fewer frills shouldn't have to mean no frills at all. I've been in many fast food restaurants with a lot more to look at than this place. And what is up with having zero trash cans inside the whole restaurant? There is one bin outside on the extremely minimalistic patio area. I found that whole dynamic very odd. Dear Hubby and i decided to split one entree of salmon over pasta. It turned out to be a strange flavor choice. Each element would be okay on its own, but together - not so much. The salmon came in two pieces, which made it ideal to split. It was very thin salmon pieces, though. That meant that it had to be cooked carefully not to dry out. It was just on the acceptable side. The pasta was tasty with a marinara sauce that offered good flavors. I would have preferred a white sauce, but have to avoid dairy (sadly!) DH also ordered a side of white rice and another of zucchini. Drink selection was minimal, and fully-sugared lemonade was one of the few caffeine-free options. As much as the goal of this restaurant is to offer healthier meal choices, they could have used better options in their beverage station line-up. For the whole experience, I am thinking that we'll go elsewhere to find fresh seafood, as this place left me feeling flat. read more

The food was so good! I've been trying to get back but it's so far out of my way! On a hunch I tried a local fish grill. I always get garlic butter salmon but I was not expecting this to be so much better than the rest. The secret is the sauce! I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. It was a nice portion and came out quickly. The cashier was friendly and the place was well spaced and clean and even offered free water. I will definitely come back when I get a chance. We discovered this fast food place through Eat Around Town by Marriott Bonvoy. We like their food, so we've been back several times and yesterday came with 8 friends to introduce it to them. However, as I was paying, we encountered an issue wherein their apple pay machine beeped and charged a credit card that I didn't want to use and I had not even tapped my phone on their machine. I asked the cashier that was there to void the transaction so I can pay with the correct card. She said it would take 4 days for the credit to show which was fine with me. Then she changed her statement saying she didn't know how to do it and that her manager would have to do it. She went to talk to the cook and came back saying since my credit card already took it, I was fine. My husband talked to the other staff member that was up front regarding it, but was ignored, instead the lady that I was dealing with said we don't do refunds. I wasn't asking for a refund. I just wanted the first transaction voided so I can pay with another card. I don't like confrontations, so I just let it go. I know it's been done before and cash registers have the capability to do that. I just want management to be aware what happened and that maybe they can train their employees better to handle this kind of situation effectively. Next time we want to eat here, i will probably use the app so I don't need to deal with their staff. read more
