First time dining at Finney's. The host greeted me right away. There was a 10 minute wait for indoor seating (not too bad) but outdoor seating was pretty much open. The ambiance is nice with TV's everywhere. There are no bad seats if you're going to watch a game. They have a lot of options on the menu and a good happy hour. The service was great and the waiter was very attentive. Food came out fast and was made fresh to order. The taste of the food...... mediocre. We ordered the mahi mahi tacos which was decent but I've had better. I would highly recommend grilled because the crispy was way too dry. We also ordered the Philly steak sandwich...again...dry.... In my quest to try all of the restaurants at the Vineyards, Finney's was next on my list. We went on a busier Tuesday afternoon, but we were seated in the outdoor patio area after a short wait. The waitress was super kind and attentive, and offered some great suggestions on what to get. We started with the deviled eggs (no bacon), which honestly really blew me away. I had never seen deviled eggs on a menu at a restaurant, but I'm so happy Finney's has them; that sriracha/hot sauce really brings the dish together. For my entree, I had the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious, filling, and honestly really affordable. The sandwich came with homemade chips; I wasn't aware of this so I ordered a side of fries, which were delicious, but I could probably do without next time. The patio area was cozy and I'm happy to have Finney's as a lunch/dinner option in Porter Ranch! read more

Such a fun experience from start to finish! I can't wait to come back and try more menu items and cocktails! Giselle was our waitress and brought such great energy to the experience. From the friendly staff to the overall vibes and atmosphere, everything felt welcoming and enjoyable. They even had the World Cup on with subtitles, which was such a fun touch. Not your typical pub food, a lot of variety in their appetizers which makes for a great meal. The place is pretty loud usually and the service is hit and miss. We had the mini lobster rolls, crispy spicy tuna and the chicken quesadilla. I think our favorite was the crispy tuna. The portions are pretty good value for the price. It's usually pretty crowded so plan ahead. Parking is shared with many retailers and restaurants so you may have to park far away. Overall the service was okay with the staff disappearing for long periods but eventually circling back. I'd definitely try it again. read more

I enjoy sitting outside on their patio especially on a beautiful day with a a good drink and some appetizers. We were celebrating a friends birthday so we decided to do the flight of margaritas. They are always super tasty and garnished beautifully. We all really enjoyed them. A few people ordered tacos that looked delicious. I ordered egg rolls that were just ok. I would not order again. After looking at everyone's tacos, I wish I would have went that route. The shrimp tacos with the mango I will need to try next time! All in all we had a nice day celebrating my friend. Finney's has a casual American menu with a great selection of cocktails, but the food quality didn't quite hit the mark. I sat indoors for comfort, I always prefer the booth seating. The drinks were the highlight, the rosé & raspberry cocktail were superb. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. My chicken salad featured chicken that felt stale and crispy fried onions that tasted like they'd been sitting out. The lettuce was very bland $ reminded me of the pre-chopped bags you buy at a grocery store. Even adding blue cheese crumbles couldn't fix the flat flavor. My friend's chicken sandwich was just okay. At $72 for two people, it felt overpriced for the quality. Neither the meal nor the atmosphere made me feel like coming back for a second visit. read more

Finally had the chance to try Finney's (it's usually such a long wait!). Added our party of 2 to the Yelp waitlist on a Monday evening around 7pm and it was ~35 minutes until we were sat. Our server, Carly, was really wonderful! She was very sweet and attentive. The manager (I believe) also checked on us a couple times throughout our dinner and service overall was 5/5. We were seated outside on the patio area and thankfully, there were heaters, as it got chillier than I anticipated at night! We ordered the side wedge, the buffalo wings, the smashburger and a side of truffle fries. The food was fantastic and came out VERY quickly (maybe like 5 minutes)! The side wedge is a perfect starter size and the smashburger was tasty and filling. I didn't love the cherry peppers on the smashburger but that's on me for not asking them to be removed. It was still good overall, just a little spicy. The wings were decent (7/10). The truffle fries were perfectly crispy with a good truffle flavor. The bill was about $40 for two of us (with no beverages). I would definitely come back (eager to try their happy hour). read more

GREAT FOOD IN PORTER RANCH =========================== It was my nephew and niece's birthday lunch, so my husband and I met them along with their kids for lunch. Luckily it wasn't too cold, so we ended up sitting outside. There are minimal low booth style tables inside, so we gave up waiting for one of those. The high top tables in the bar area weren't going to be a good for the younger kids. My nephew and I ordered their beer on tap. I tend to veer towards the higher ABV hoppy style beers, so I got the Madewest from Ventura which I have enjoyed in the past. My nephew got one of the Pilsners. Everyone was happy with their meals. I absolutely loved their cobb salad and my husband loved their smash burger. The young kids loved the pizza and chicken wings. My nephew liked his carnitas and my niece liked her cobb salad. There is a little parklet outside for the kids to play at with adult supervision if they get bored after lunch. Lots of parking, but I prefer to park behind the buildings near the condos. read more

In the world of upscale chain restaurants, Finney's does a good job of giving tasty food, good drinks, a cool atmosphere, and consistency between locations. This is our second Finney's (I hope the Santa Clarita location doesn't think we're cheating on it...) We were in the Valley to visit friends and didn't have to wait long to get our reserved table for 6 after arriving. I've never been disappointed with a cocktail at Finney's and, sure enough, the guava margarita I had at this location gave me what I'd hoped for. I especially appreciate that there are vegetarian options, like the Impossible Taco Salad, which I find both light and filling at the same time. Our table shared a pretzel with a few different dipping sauces and no one had anything to complain about there. The vegetarian options (besides the Impossible Taco Salad) are enough to make sure you have something to choose from and vary your experiences if you're a repeat visitor. (Veggie Burger options, grilled cheese, salads, a Mediterranean protein bowl and a pizza. Nothing out of the box or particularly unique for vegetarians, really but enough to keep you happy. I've been wanting to go to the Finneys by my place, and as far as American food chain restaurants, this is probably one of my favorites. The food is quite tasty but also not smothered with grease. They just don't feel too heavy. I took my dad and we split the Bavarian Pretzel, and we both ordered our own Bison Burger, grilled medium. The Bavarian Pretzel was large and easily shareable. It had a great balance of softness, chewiness, and salted flavor. While you can easily eat it plain, the 3 sauces took it up another level. Between the cheese, sweet mustard, and caramel, I mostly love mixing the sweet mustard and caramel in order to get that tanginess with the sweet. The Bison Burger, while presentation wise may look a little sparse, it made it up with excellent, savory flavor. I had the mustard aioli on the side so I can taste the Bison patty by itself, and it is well-seasoned and not dry, which is great to have considering it is a leaner meat compared to beef. The mustard aioli was a great compliment to the burger and it is a must have. The smoked gouda, bacon jam, and cherry peppers added some flair without overshadowing the Bison patty. They all just worked well together. Lastly, Veronica was super attentive and friendly. Great service all around and great ambience to boot! I suggested this Finney's location to friends who live close by after visiting the one in Stevenson Ranch. We arrived around 6 on Friday and there was an hour wait which was totally fine as it allowed us time to grab a cocktail at the bar and drink it on the patio. However, if you are concerned about time, you can join the Yelp waitlist. I tried the passion fruit sour which was 10/10. My friends ordered and enjoyed the watermelon margarita and the berry mojito. We split the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer and then I ordered the ahi poke bowl for dinner. Probably wouldn't order the bowl again but it was not bad. Service was great! It seems like overall quality is consistent across all locations. Looking forward to coming back! read more

If you don't like crowds, go during the week! It's been two years since I've visited this establishment. I'm happy to report that this visit was as good as the first one. I visited at lunchtime on a Thursday and walked right in with a friend. There were plenty of empty tables and zero wait. Parking was also relatively easy. The vibe was relaxed, casual and fun. The menu had a good variety for everyone. As a vegetarian, the option to substitute a regular beef patty for a veggie patty on any of the burgers opened up several options for me. We ordered the Finney Burger with a veggie patty and tacos. Our food came out quickly, was in good portion, and tasty. Service was wonderful. Our server Roman, was patient, warm and friendly. My wife and I decided to check out happy hour at Finney's Crafthouse on Rinaldi in Porter Ranch next to the 118 freeway. We agreed it was the right move for a Friday night date. We ordered a few items from the happy hour menu, including the sliders and the chicken quesadilla. The sliders were just the right size and cooked to perfection. I have no idea why sliders taste so much better than a full burger! The chicken quesadilla was also delicious cheesy, flavorful, and filled with well-cooked chicken. I mean, how can you go wrong with a chicken quesadilla? Am I right? The service here is always top-notch, and the servers are really friendly. Just be aware that when they're busy, wait times can be a bit longer, but that's to be expected at a popular restaurant serving quality American food. I definitely recommend Finney's Crafthouse in Porter Ranch if you're ever in the mood for burgers, beer, or wine while watching a game this is the place for you. The ambiance, to me, feels more like a bar and restaurant where people can come for a family dinner or watch a football or baseball game on the big screens in the bar area. There is plenty of parking since it's located in a large shopping center, but be aware that during dinner time or on Friday and Saturday nights, it can be tough to find a spot. Eventually, one opens up you just have to be patient. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy some amazing food, whether from the happy hour menu or the regular menu. Started off with a bottle of the Caymus red blend. Of course that went down well. Starters with the coconut shrimp and avocado egg rolls. Both great, deep fried which is never a bad thing. Sauce that was paired with them was perfect. Entrees, the triple smashed burger and a large tater tots. I'm not a burger person but it sounded quite nice. Potion and size wise was ok, but it was good. Nothing fancy about it but it worked with the cheese and onions. Also the tots, an additional 8.00 for the large order. I don't know if they have their own version but it was a little different. Still good. Also had the truffle burger with the truffle fries. That was quite nice as well. Sides of fires, tots and salad are all additional fee if added to burgers. Overall, the service was great. Diana was amazing as well as everyone. All the servers and busboys were amazing. Food was good as well as the wine. Happy hour is always a good idea but we couldn't get there on time. Which menu for that is quite nice with some of their food items and cocktails. A great place for Happy Hour or just a night out, I met with some of my friends here for a quick little bite and yap. Happy hour is from 3-5pm lots of alcohol and a small list of food options. I got the watermelon smash with Tito's (there was an up charge to change out the vodka) and I mention to our waitress I have an allergy, she notified the bar when making my drinks. We had a great time here. Everything we had here was delicious. Great selection of gourmet bar food. The location is fabulous as it is right next to the AMC. The heat lamps in their outdoor seating area work well. I like the bench seating out there. Inside they have the fun high top tables. The service was great. We had to wait a little bit for them to find us a table for a party of eight but it was well worth the wait. I love how there is an outdoor play area in that plaza. You can park closer or you can park far. There is plenty of stuff to do while you wait in case your table is not ready right away. I'm surprised I haven't been here yet because I have been to the AMC movies in Porter Ranch at least seven times and I have yet to go to this restaurant. So happy we tried this location. I enjoyed 3 drinks and two appetizers for about 50 bucks. I enjoyed my order of Coconut Shrimp, and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, as well as the Raspberry Smash Cocktail (I had two - it's featured on the Happy Hour menu), and an Aperol Spritz. It was a hot afternoon but I was in the 3-5 pm window for HH eats. Finney's was close by, so I decided to visit to get a small bite before dinner. The place was packed, as it should be, but nice and cool on the inside. Their HH menu on both the drink and eat side is generous. So is their regular menu. Though limited, it covers all the basic favorites, and then some unique offerings, to make your visit worthwhile. Every time I come here, I try to have something different. This time, the avocado egg rolls ($7 for six pieces at HH, regular price is $13). Not a bad deal at all. The rolls were cut on the bias and had a semi crispiness on the outside, but still retained a crunch. The inside was soft, the avocado dominating the flavor and texture of the mixture, that contained corn and other finely cut vegetables. Taken together, it provided a satisfying bite. The green cilantro cashew sauce and the sweet chili sauce provided a fresh feel and married well with the rolls. Service was excellent. read more

He kept us updated with our wait # with a smile and kind spirit. When you walk into a restaurant, the greeting and wait sets the tone for your dining experience. The location of this restaurant is perfect for a date day/night. It's right next to an AMC theater, dessert spots and retail as well. There also a lot of parking, although it did take a few minutes for me to find a spot with how many people were at the plaza. When I entered, I was greeted and seated immediately. Our server was also really nice and took our orders quickly after we were seated. Food was delivered quickly as well. The food was good. We ordered poke tacos, buffalo cauliflower, fries, and a grilled chicken club. I was a little disappointed with the poke tacos and buffalo cauliflower. The poke didn't taste as fresh or as seasoned/marinated as I had expected. The cauliflower was also really soggy and there was too much sauce added. The other dishes were good. read more

We were very satisfied with the service and the food. However, the issue was parking, even for a weekday, parking was a challenge so if you have a reservation arrive early. Didn't wait long for a table, they had seating in the bar which was fine. We had a few menu questions and our server answered them in a friendly manner. He took our drink and food order promptly. We ordered sliders, ahi tacos, and the onion tower...great choices!! The food presentation was lovely and loved the onion tower presentation it came with a variety of dipping sauces.
