The salad was the one you get at Ralph's from the bag. The entrée was a tiny little piece of top sirloin and some mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box. Given that we had a reservation, it would have been courteous to notify guests in advance so they could decide whether to keep or cancel their plans. We visited for Father's Day and the food itself was good. The ribs and mac & cheese were enjoyable. The biggest issue was that the restaurant's AC appeared to be struggling, leaving the dining room uncomfortably warm. We were also seated near the dish station and kitchen, which made for a noisy experience. One of our sides was forgotten and had to be brought out later, and the premium Brussels sprouts portion felt small for an upgraded side. The truly awesome thing that happened is for the first time ever, our steaks were way overcooked. So let's just say the staff and management here is awesome and super great. Between my first visit here things have changed dramatically , However, for the LAST 2 months or so the AC has been out and the heat has been unbearable. I've delayed my review due to the staff being so great but it's ridiculous how long corporate has taken to fix this. We are now in July and in Southern California especially the San Fernando Valley. The temperature is hitting over 100°. I have avoided coming here because of it and I think it's enough it's enough. I could only imagine what the kitchen feels like. So if corporate is reading these reviews, they have to do something or someone will call the city to complain about this problem. Once the air-conditioning is fixed, I recommend everybody coming because the service is great. The food is great and the people are great but until corporate decides to spend the money and fix the problem many people will stop coming. read more

Went on Friday October 24 and it was fantastic! We had the Campfire Feast and it was delicious! The NY Strip Steak was cooked perfectly and the Wagon Wheel Sampler was plentiful. And since it was Dodgers baseball game on,it was busy, our food was delivered still hot and quick. The cocktails were yummy! The Halloween special, Bloody Colada, was delicious and substantial. It had been a long time, and we were back in town for a few days for a bit of nostalgia. Walked in and it was HOT. We wanted to sit in the bar area to have dinner and watch the soccer match. Hostess said that the air conditioner was not working, and hadn't been FOR A FEW WEEKS! Of course as we walked out with a few others who had overheard, and all I thought about was how in the world did the kitchen staff work under these conditions, and was it really a good idea to trust the food coming out of the kitchen. I cant remember the last time I've dined in here but recently their deal for the Steak and Lobster Trio for $25.99 caught our attention. The deal is only available online so we ordered it on a Monday night, and when I picked it up 30 minutes after our set pick up, everything was still warm which impressed me. The meal includes top sirloin, lobster tail, crispy shrimp, and 2 classic sides. - sirloin, medium well, 3 oz: sizeable, and cooked well imo. pretty juicy :) - lobster tail: tasty, slightly salty, came with butter. the container kinda melted which was offputting - crispy shrimp (4 pcs pp): can't go wrong - fries (fluffy crispy), baked potato (came with a sour cream, whipped butter), and mac and cheese which was yummy too. Also ordered salad, but they forgot to include it lol hence the 4/5. Definitely a good portion, and we weren't able to finish the steak and baked potato. At around 8pm it looked barren inside.
