I started going to Burger Lounge in Northridge about three years ago, and I still can't believe I didn't discover this place sooner! Whenever my friend asks where we should meet for lunch, Burger Lounge is always one of my first suggestions. I always order the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, which I believe is part of their hidden menu. I add blue cheese crumbles, and it never disappoints. I absolutely love this sandwich! My friend usually orders the Burger Lounge burger with Swiss cheese instead of cheddar, and she's always happy with it too. The food does take a little longer to come out, but that's because everything is made fresh, and it's worth the wait. We also love sharing the fries and onion ring combo. Even the regular size is pretty large and plenty for two people to share. Their house-made barbecue sauce is also really good--I always use it for dipping my fries. The staff is consistently friendly, and they bring your food right to the table once it's ready. The restaurant is bright, clean, and inviting, with really large booths that could easily accommodate a family or bigger group. It always seems to be busy whenever we visit, which says a lot. First time trying out this spot. The entire burger combo I got was pretty solid!!! Felt fresh and felt good knowing that the beef is made from 'grass-fed' cows. I definitely wish the service was a bit better especially at the counter. When a customer and I walked in, I got a 'hello' from the lady and she carried on with doing her tasks. I stood there for a good few minutes before deciding to sit and wait until she could finally take my order. She took my order and I got seated anywhere (it's a pretty good-sized interior with a few calm and cozy booths) with a table number. She didn't even talk with the guy, which was interesting to me because I saw a previous review say to prepare to be ignored if you are there to pick up any online orders. Crazy to see it happen in front of me. Food took a while to come out and when it did, the burger looked pretty small to me. But surprisingly, the burger was thick and more filling than I thought. The bread wasn't extremely greasy and tasted like wheat texture, which was nice. The fries had a filmy crisp to them but they weren't airy inside or anything. I thought they were pretty good and the side of ranch it came with was very flavorful too. Overall, had a good and filling meal here and really felt good sitting inside where it was cool. There's a huge cow mural inside too. Public restrooms and this spot shares a pretty good sized lot for all the other businesses. Not bad, would consider coming here again! read more

Giving it a two star because the guy that gave us the food was nice. The food no thank you took two bites wasn't the best then looked in side of the chicken it was a little pink inside. I paid for our extra avocado. They gave me very little bit of avocado as you can see inside when I lift up my sandwich. My husband got a double cheeseburger with bacon. I believe you'll see on the receipt. It was smaller than his hand in my hand. It's very small portions for the burgers and very expensive. The environment is very cleaned up very nice and quiet. They have handicap parking. I would definitely say I won't be going back to this place as my chicken sandwich had no flavor except for the fish flavor. The windows were so dark that we weren't sure if they were even open because we couldn't see inside, but once you're inside, you welcome the shade because it was hot out that day! We visited on a weekend with friends and noticed a sign on the door that read, "Kids eat free on Tuesdays." My youngest insisted we return that Tuesday so they could eat for free. While we enjoyed our meal and had fun during the weekend, this review focuses on our Tuesday visit. You receive a free kids meal for every burger or salad you order, so my mom's and my meal made for two free kids meals, which included either a cheeseburger or chicken strips, french fries, a drink, and an ice cream. After placing the kids' orders, I ordered the bacon blue burger, which was amazing, along with regular fries and a medium drink. I must mention that their burgers are extremely soft. Whether it's the patty, the bread, or both, the burger melts together in your mouth, offering a unified flavor rather than individual tastes of bacon, patty, and lettuce, if that makes sense. This was a huge plus! Overall, the service was great, and there was plenty of seating inside, though it might get a bit cramped on busy days. Fortunately, they have a patio section outside, which the kids enjoyed running around at. Everything was clean, and they offer really good lemonade-flavored drinks, such as mint basil and hibiscus, which were delicious and came with refills. Pros: Good amount of parking, the burger was moist and delicious, fries were well seasoned, place inside is very clean and spacious and they have some nice weekday deals before 5pm. Good burger variety and I like the 50/50 option of fries and onion rings. Cons: Busy area and lot can get busy dependent on time of day with so many businesses in there. Food is definitely not cheap as my burger and 50/50 was $21.84 but the food was good so if you can afford it, go for it. Took about 20 minutes to get our order as you are fighting with a ton of to go orders to get served quick, so need to expect some extra wait; for just over 40 bucks we got: 1 Mexican coke=as always strong like bull. (A) Fried chick sando=I'd say above average from all the fried chicken sandwiches I've tried; good breading, toppings, just not much flavor. The buffalo given is oddly spicy and can pass as a hot sauce more than buffalo (just stick to Franks, G.) (B rating) Standard burg-it's like a Big Mac copy 1000 island on the side (great sauce) it was solid yet unspectacular. (B+) 1/2 and 1/2 onion rings and fries...for 7 bucks (just 1 dollar more) you get the large size and its deceptively overwhelming portion, easily splitable. Great crunch and perfectly fried rings, with again, a very odd almost sweet sticky BBQ sauce, no smoke, almost like a salsa, very bizarre. Can tell these sauces are house made, but they just don't work optimally for the food. (Except the 1000 island, that was great.) Fries are fresh cut style, texture cooked evenly and not soggy/oily like that awful 5 guys crap, but too salty for me. (B+ for combined side.) The most unique thing about this place is their use of sauce. If you enjoy trying out difference dipping sauces and mixing up flavors, this might be the spot for you. Place has a nice parking lot and lots of seating. Seats are available both indoor and outdoor. I chose to sit outside because it was a nice day, but the tables and chairs were dirty. I cleaned up seat/table before helping myself. In hindsight, I'd probably sit indoors next time cause it seems like they maintain the space better. It helps to know that this place is a joint.
