This place has been all over my feed forever as one of the best smash burgers in LA, so I was excited to finally try it out! We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. Arrived on a Thursday afternoon on our way to the Palladium... luckily there was plenty of parking, and only 2 others eating inside. The order keyosk wasn't working, so I ordered with the worker. The burger is not cheap, a single is already nearly $10. And then you have to pay more for tomatoes, lettuce, etc... which I did pay for on my double, plus jalapeños. With fries, the order came to almost $25. That said, everything tasted pretty good. Fries are very salted/seasoned, burger (with all the added produce) tasted great. I came in on a Thursday (6-18-26) around 4:45 PM and ordered a double hamburger with sweet potato fries. The food was scrumptious and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Unfortunately, I accidentally left behind my Meta Ray-Ban glasses case. Inside the case were my regular prescription glasses, with the left lens being for near vision. I tried contacting the restaurant, but the phone number listed on the website appears to be unresponsive, and I found myself hitting a brick wall trying to reach someone. This spot was on my radar for a while so I was able to stop by on my way home around 2:30pm on a Thursday and it wasn't busy at all. I was able to effortlessly order on their computer screen and received my order within less than 10 minutes. Ordered a single smash cheeseburger that was quite tasty and I really liked their sauce. It probably makes more sense to order a double or triple smash burger because the patties are so thin, but I was OK with just a single The fries were not hot at all.. The smash burger here was pretty solid, very similar taste profile to in n out but if they did smash burgers. They were stingy with the sauce, because both my wife and my burger's were dry. I got two burgers, one with add-ons and one without. The one with add-ons had a good amount of sauce but the other one I couldn't even tell that anything was added. Same went for my wife's burger. Also all my toppings were stacked on my one side of the burger which kind of sucked. My review sounds mainly negative but I like to focus on how the food actually tasted rather than presentation and like I said they were comparable to in n out which is like an 8/10 to me. this is an overdue review... but still needed to get this off my chest. we decided on For the Win because it was near by, it's a spot I've been wanting to try and felt like an easy pick up situation as we were on our way to catch a movie. I ordered ahead for pickup through the inKind app so it could be hot and ready upon arrival. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, sweet potato fries and a Topo Chico. I entered the establishment and greeted the worker up front, I was ignored, but it was a bit busy so no biggie. After receiving my pick up order I realized I didn't get my drink, I asked the worker and he appeared annoyed that I had asked. He stated that I never paid for it, because they don't have it - which understandable, but why wouldn't you let me know as I'm picking up that you have other options? lol I will gladly pay for something different. They get you with the nice photos of beautifully presented burgers on the app, however since you're paying for the "price of one" this establishment feels entitled to send you mediocre burger patties and bread. The staff here seem to be genuinely inconvenienced with having customers. The assumed general manager with the pink hair has such a bad attitude and refused to address my partner and I even though our to-go order was ready and sitting behind her. We ordered online and didn't want it to get cold. Upon (finally) interjecting and getting our food, they had forgotten the fries. If you're going to be that cocky maybe at least know what you're doing. Either that or have some genuine human humility and customer service skills if you're going to work in customer service. What used to be a great burger place has sadly sold out and become another chain riding on its legacy and in no way upholding those standards. I understand smashburgers are supposed to have thin patties and crunchiness, but at some point, the patties are so thing, the burger suffers. I think we've reached that point with FTW. Service was fine. You order at a touchscreen. I expected to have to go get my food when it was ready since I was required to enter my phone number, but the guy working the counter brought my food out since they weren't busy. You bus your own tray. If you think that the default selection of 20% tip for a place where you order from a toucscreen and bus your own tray seems a bit high, you can select other amounts for tip. The interior furnishings are tables and benches constructed from planks of wood and stacked cinder blocks. Small wood stools are available as well. Getting into and out of the parking lot during rush hour is slow and painful. If you can squeeze your car between the dumpster and the pole to get to the side street/alley, that will save you some time and jeopardy. Top 3 best smash burger spot ever! We walked in on a weekday off hours to ensure we didn't hit a crowd but it was still busy and moving...they have a nice and fluid operation! The double cheeseburger with the seared edges was everything we asked for and we also ordered fries with a patty, cheese and sauce and that didn't last long either.
