It's a pretty solid smash burger, self ordered and within 5 minutes the food was ready. I like the meat to cheese ratio, and the bun was nicely toasted. Wilshire location had more pick up orders as opposed to the one in Hollywood that we go to where people dine in. Plaza has valet parking, but we parked on the street. read more

Came back and this time I ordered for take away!! Honestly it didn't disappoint. It was packed well and all the things I expected were there - flavor, texture and the crispiness of the fries! I do live about 10-15 minutes away from home without traffic and I got to dive into eating this yummy burger not too long after getting home so the food didn't get soggy. I've had a burger from For the Win the grand central market location and I've said it one so I'll say it again. For the Win is a top 3 smash burger restaurant in Los Angeles hands down. The burgers are crafted to perfection and are topped with fresh ingredients. I don't know if they use short rib beef or refined ground beef, but the burger patties are smashed so thin that you could eat a triple or a quad and not feel overwhelmed. The service was excellent, i received my meal swiftly and was able to eat before I went to my final destination. I also enjoyed a chocolate milkshake that was a flavorful pleasant treat. The ambiance on the inside is very chill, they have plenty of seating and TVs where you can sit and enjoy your meal. I will continue to visit For the Win when craving a smash burger. read more

I was pretty excited to come here based on all the hyped that this place has + the good rating this particular location had. My friends and I came on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty empty. I wish the photos on the kiosk actually lined up with what you actually get for that burger. Don't look at the photos and just base your decision on the description! I ended up getting a cheeseburger with sauce on the side and fries. The cheeseburger was good. It doesn't come with any veggies aside from pickles, so if that matters to you, you should be able to add that to your order for an additional cost. Overall, the burger felt really dry. The sauce definitely helped it, but I feel it was still pretty dry in comparison to other smash burgers that I had. The fries were nice and crispy though! You'll be lucky to find parking, from what I can see. Walk there, or choose street parking. I got two burgers: a double Smash Cheeseburger with jalapeños, and a regular Smash Cheeseburger with no add-ons. And a side of sweet potato fries. The burgers were juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. It truly felt like you were eating high-quality beef patties. I feel like their fry sauce plays a huge factor in their flavor category. Plus, add some jalapeños with the fry sauce, and it enhances the flavor even more *chefs kiss*. Can't forget their soft buns. In & Out needs to take some tips. It's like taking a bite of fluffy clouds. The sweet potato fries were fresh, crispy, and perfectly salted. They looked like they are made to order too. I don't know what it is about this location, but the burger was subpar. This was mainly because they smashed the burger til they couldn't smash it anymore. The meat had several holes in it from being tissue paper thin. This made it taste like you were eating flattened charcoal. Burgers look NOTHING like the pictures. Three 3 stars because the sweet potato fries were fire! The young European lady in the front was somewhat pleasant until I had a question and she was trying to speak to me from the back, where she was with the cook. Came for pick up during lunch. The older blonde lady working there was arguing with someone on the phone and just looked at me from across the kitchen, she seemed bothered that she had to come out and give me my food.
