After a visit to the Peterson Automotive Museum, we found that we had missed out on the free In-N-Out truck. Needless to say, we craved burgers after hearing the news. Our fates were cosmically aligned to indulge in fast food that's taken burgers to the next level. After all, I've been dying to try Burger 3000 for a while and heard a lot of great things about their smash burgers. Since we were already enjoying a thematic day, we decided to transport ourselves to the moon. Seriously, this location is super fun on the inside. The neon murals and glow-in-the-dark decor feel like you're in another world altogether. In fact, this place sounds perfect for grabbing meals for a kid's birthday party. And I was told that they cater big parties and corporate events too. *** The Meat *** According to one of the managers, this location recently launched about 4 months ago. But what makes them unique is not only splattered all over the walls, but sizzling on the grills in the kitchen. The meat is 100% Australian Wagyu Halal beef. And you can taste the juicy yummiest smooshed in between cheese and sauce. *** Cosmo Kid Pack *** Ordered a kids meal for my little space cadet. He loved the smash burger, but said their fries are outta this world. I'd agree, they're thin & crisp--just how we like 'em. Also, we each got some cute keychains as a souvenir, which was quite fitting for our day actually. *** MoonShakes *** The "stellar" Oreo Cookies 'n' Cream shake was thick and creamy with fresh whipped cream and a maraschino cherry on top. I highly recommend this spot. It really feels like you've landed on the dark side of the moon. Our day was complete and our mission to smash our cravings was accomplished.

Went here this recent Tuesday after an event. I was absolutely blown away by the decor, the outside was rather unassuming but the inside was pretty futuristic. Loved how the entire menu is halal too. Standard fast food service in all honesty: Food: Triple Oklahoma Smashburger: Had the perfect cheese to burger ratio, sauce was great. Enjoyed it and then i dumped a load of the secret spicy sauce on it to try it out, but ended up overpowering the burger. So don't do that haha. Truffle Fries: Shoestring fries with the right amount of crispiness. The truffle oil/sauce on top were pretty good.

April 15, 2026 | Hollywood | After being introduced to Burger 3000, just a few days later, I wanted to introduce my friend to this restaurant! Vegan Burger | The burger is delicious, flavorful, and shaped like a flying saucer! Haha! How fun! The burger is way bigger than the bun and each sweet, smoky & tangy bbq saucy bite is like a dance party on my taste buds! Haha! I'm not Vegan, however, I enjoy Vegan dishes! My friend enjoyed the actual meat burger! Fries | Shared | Cajun, spicy and very tasty! Inside | Colorful as ever, space-themed & quite an upbeat atmosphere! Fun music! Order | Step up to the kiosk, order and pay! Easy breezy! There are several options for add-ons to customize the way you like! I'm one who loves to have options!! Customer Service | Friendly, attentive & conversation flowed easily! Overall | Yes, please, as it's a unique place & the items are full of flavor! It was worth the drive from the beach to Hollywood!

We checked this place out for lunch recently and had a good time. It is hard to find parking around the building, but after a few times circling, we were able to get close. The inside is neatly decorated with vibrant colors and is space themed. We ordered through a kiosk and the people working there were friendly. My wife enjoyed her burger (cosmo kid pack) and my daughter liked her grilled cheese. The Space Jam was delicious. We preferred the truffle fries over the regular fries and the chocolate shake was tasty. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but it was on the pricey side ($15.50 for my burger, $14 for my wife's). Worth checking out.

From the outside, this place immediately grabs you--it looks like some kind of futuristic spaceship. You're honestly left wondering, what is this? Then you walk in, and it's like stepping into a completely different world. During the day especially, it feels like you've landed in another galaxy. It actually reminds me of that Toy Story vibe--like Buzz Lightyear could walk in at any moment. The staff were super friendly, which always sets the tone right. Now, the food. Let's start with the main event: the burger. Phenomenal. The patty has that perfect smashed texture, with crispy edges and great flavor. The sauce stood out too--it tasted like a blend of Big Mac sauce and In-N-Out spread, but honestly better than both. The Oreo shake? On point. Rich, smooth, and done right. Fries were solid--crispy, well-seasoned, and exactly what you want on the side. Service was quick and efficient, no complaints there. Overall, it's not just a meal--it's an experience. Definitely a spot that stands out.

This place is not my vibe. I came into the store shortly after opening and was completely turned off. The music was super loud, the windows were completely blackened, and it felt "sketch" at best. There was no service to be found even though the sign said they were open. None of the stools were set up inside and only one person was ahead of us but there were also no menus or signage indicating what they even had here. I waited a few minutes and then the person I was with felt very creeped out and lost trust in any of the food they had. It seems like others enjoyed it but after the off vibe and lack of any service, we didn't think to trust the food. Oh well. It could have been an off day or new opening woes, but I don't think I will try this location.

Located on a corner plaza is the future of fast food Burgers & Fries. I do not typically eat fast food, but for a "once in a while treat," Burger 3000 really takes it to a whole new level. The inside is dec'd out with colorful space-themed artwork. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the staff with a big smile. They do have a kiosk that you can order at in the front, but the staff were more than happy to verbally take orders as well. The staff were generous enough to give me fries of my choice (choosing from the classic seasoned, Cajun or truffle) "on the house." My order came out relatively quickly ~10-15 minutes. 1. Spicy Chicken Jam Burger (5/5) Advertised as "Halal" chicken, which basically means the way they butcher the chicken -- cleaner modality. Anyway, as for the taste, this burger is a WOW - MUST TRY!!! Never had a chicken burger this good. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauce is a combination of their space jam glaze, which gives it that caramelized sweetness and just the right amount of spice within the sauce and the chili flakes they top it off with. What elevated this burger was that they top it off with some fresh and crunchy kimchi. The kimchi added tanginess, which complimented the sweet jam sauce well; cuts the sweetness so you do not feel heavily sick afterwards - brilliant idea. I would 100% get this burger again. 2. Original Space Jam Burger (4/5) This burger contains 2 smashed Australian Wagyu burger, a slice of cheddar cheese, fresh sliced organic avocado, their special spicy Hot Rocket sauce, and raspberry bacon jam between Hawaiian burger buns. Of course you can always add on extra, but I think that's plenty already. It's a very unique twist to traditional cheese burgers in that it contains jam -- really? - yes, you read correctly, JAM. As you can expect, it adds sweetness to the burger. It's weird, but it works in a strange way, especially if you like sweet & savory combo flavors. The savoriness comes from their house special sauce (tangy, creamy, oniony, and a bit smokey). Do note that their beef patty doesn't have much flavor (like other reviews have mentioned) other than just beef flavor. It can be bland, but in a way, it usually means it is healthier - not saturated with salt. I think it's also to minimize having "too much flavors going on" as the highlight of this burger is the sauces. The beef patty was a bit dry for my liking, but fortunately it's thin, so the heavy blend of sauces made it acceptable. The avocado adds creaminess. I've never had anything like this so it was very cool to try it. A sweet, spicy, creamy blast from another galaxy. 3. Truffle Fries (5/5) One of the best truffle fries I've had. They really nailed the art of frying potato sticks -- each fry was fried to perfect crisp without being oily. It's coated in truffle oil and seasoned salt. Overall, the truffle flavor was good without being too overpowering. If I'm craving fast food as a treat, I'd totally come back to try out more of their menu and that Spicy Chicken Jam burger again. My only suggestion would be to change the burger buns from the Hawaiian bread buns to something more unique. Hoping all the success to come for Burger 3000.

I was really looking forward to trying Burger 3000 but unfortunately had one of the roughest experiences in awhile at a restaurant here. My friend and I went in for dinner last week, ordered at an empty restaurant, then waited a full hour for our food. It was so incredibly disorganized and the staff was not on top of anything. They had tons of orders coming in for carry out and could not decipher what was in person and what was online. They were walking to tables asking people what they ordered and bringing incorrect receipts, everyone was getting incorrect items or was missing things from their order - it was absolute chaos and a mess. Waiting 1 hour in person for a burger order is inexcusable. They need more staff and more organization. I won't be back.

This was a weird space retro themed spot with alright burgers. I went here to catch up with some friends who picked out the place and also had never been here either. Interior is like a fast food restaurant, but completely redesigned/committed to a retro space theme. The boxes, drinks, interior decor are all touting space suits and dark blue space tones. Interior has a mix of high tables and regular tables for seating. From the lack of people inside and a lot of boxes going out the door, it looks popular as a delivery order location. Counter service, with a TV for the menu. I ordered a double cheese burger and seasoned fries. The fries were good, with the seasoning having a nice, slightly confused, savory flavor. The burgers are touted as "gold medal award winner"s on the to-go boxes, but they were just okay. Not my go-to for a smash burger in LA. The meat looks great, but the edges weren't crispy and the sauce did a lot of heavy lifting for flavor. However, if you don't think of them as smashburgers, they are good burgers with nicely seasoned fries. My friends who ordered the Oklahoma style and Space Jam burgers enjoyed theirs more. I disagree that their beef is award winning, but I would recommend Burger 3000 for an affordable fast food burger joint.

Really enjoyed my first visit to Burger 3000! The burger was super flavorful and it wasn't overwhelming in size. I got the single patty burger combo with the seasoned fries. The manager was very friendly and treated me to a soft drink on the house since it was my first time trying! He even brought around mozzarella appetizers (hot n' fresh and a yum sauce) for all to try. I liked the attention he was giving to us customers. That's refreshing these days. Also, the futuristic design teleported me back to Disneyland at the space mountain or something. I definitely fell for the futuristic packaging, since I'm such a packaging whore!

This place is so awesome from their theme to the taste of the food. It it's definitely a place to hang with friends and during the summertime. We visited on Father's Day and they were running a special. The whole theme fits how the food taste out of this world. The Parkinson's limited but you can always park on the street. It hade have a covered sitting area . The workers were great during the rush and super helpful in answering all of questions. I would definitely go back.

First things first AMAZING food , idc it's definitely on the list for a reason . Wifey and I were in the area and finally came across burger 3000 , super futuristic vibe black lights with the neon space theme inside , service was very quick , we were able to order on the kiosk and got our food (which btw was made to order ) maybe 10 mins later I went for the Oklahoma and my wife chose the classic double burger , JUICY , MELTY , Crunch from the Fresh pickles , soft bun , just a perfect burger , dressing on the burger was tangy and full of flavor and NO it does not give mayonnaise. Can't wait for another trip that way for some more

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. Tasty burgers and a must try for sure if your around! Cheers!

No where near the flavor and umami as heavy handed and easy street and more modern places. Very fatty. Fries had a good crisp but the chili was super super smoky. Not sweet at all. Which is fine, but not my style. Chili is very user specific. People that worked there were incredibly nice. The diet soda option wasn't bad. Outdoor seating only so go at night or on a cool day.

So I've wanted to try Amboy for quite some time now and finally got a chance. Just so you know,…read morethat part of Chinatown has horrible parking options, but if you are willing to park further away, the parking next to the library seems to work fine. So getting back to Amboy...This vital burger spot was exactly like in all the other videos I've seen and it didn't disappoint. We got the DH, Amboy Burger, regular fries and truffle fries. That's a lot of food for two people and well worth the price. The DH is as big as you could imagine. They cook it medium rare, which I love...that beast of a burger was so juicy, they should hand out gloves when eating it or at least a 3" high stack of napkins! You have a slight dry aged taste to it, but I am partial to the really funky dry aged. I am talking 45-60-100 day dry aged steaks, but this was just as good for a hamburger. The truffle fries were massive and could easily feed 3 people, maybe 4. We got there just in time to get the corner booth table and watch the line get longer and longer. The Amboy itself was good, nothing special and it reminded me of Bob's Big Boy hamburger sauce, which was a good memory to get back to. I think the most unique aspect are the heavily, sesame seeded buns. They were very soft, but held up to the DH 1/3# burger patty very nicely. And another thing...It all looks exactly as in the other videos. The service was excellent! The cashier was so nice, patient and walked us through the menu. **June 2026: Saturday Late Afternoon Visit**…read more Amboy in Los Angeles had been on my bucket list for some time, so I was glad to finally get a chance to try it. I ordered the Fancy DH ($21), my friend got the Amboy Classic Single ($10), and we shared a large fries ($5). I was also able to try a bite of the Classic, and I really liked the fries with the ketchup bottle that had the narrow tip; it made the fries feel even more fun to eat, and I definitely enjoyed making little squiggles with it. The Fancy DH was very good and definitely lived up to the hype. It had a deep, savory flavor that reminded me of a really high-end steak, especially with the charred crust on the burger. The inside was moist and juicy, and the caramelized onions, provolone, and garlic aioli all worked really well together. That said, it was a very VERY heavy burger, and I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had split it in half instead of eating the whole thing on my own. After a few bites, it started to feel like a little too much. From the bite I had of the Amboy Classic, it felt more balanced overall, which made sense as a simpler option. Since I usually go for Asian food when I'm in Chinatown, this was a fun change of pace, and I'm glad I finally made it here. Overall, I think it's worth trying.

Their hot dog is the platonic ideal of what a hot dog should be. The old bay seasoning on their crispy tots is a stroke of genius. The inside is small, so it's basically an outdoor-only seating or take-it-to-go situation. Thankfully a tall brick wall, umbrella-toting picnic tables, and large sails give ample shade to their large lot. There are a few parking spots in the back if you're lucky, otherwise street parking should be easy to find. When enough people showed up to eat, it felt like a backyard kickback. Music was a perfect volume for conversation and their Regular Show-esque bespoke mural gave us a lot to talk about. My partner also tried their burger and fries and decided to stop by the restaurant only to find out they closed a couple of months ago. It was worth the visit when we went there back in December.z The place was cute and it felt comfy.

I happened to be in the area, and even though I'd already eaten, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally drop in. Irv's originally opened in 1946 as Queen's Burgers, located right on Route 66 on Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo, and was deeply ingrained in LA's historic car culture. In 1970, Irv Genis bought the stand and renamed it Irv's Burgers, and it quickly became a legendary late-night spot for rock icons like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison. By 2000, Sonia Hong took over, famously hand-drawing doodles on the paper plates alongside her signature slogan, "Just for you." After closing in 2013 and again in 2018, Lawrence Longo partnered with Sonia in 2021 to bring the brand back to life. They've since expanded quite a bit, even opening locations in Malibu and Las Vegas. On a staff recommendation, I ordered Irv's Original Roadside Burger Double ($11.25). Honestly, it was just okay. While a certain amount of grease and salt is expected with a burger, this one crossed the line into being a bit too salty and oily. On the bright side, the sesame bun was excellent, and I loved that they kept Sonia's legacy alive by printing her classic doodles on the tray placemats. While I'm glad Irv's was saved from history and is expanding, the food itself felt pretty so-so. The outdoor tables were also a bit dirty during my visit. I still love that classic roadside burger stand aesthetic with the outdoor stools, but unfortunately, I won't be in a rush to head back.
