I've eaten at Shake Shack numerous times over the years and it's pretty consistent. Never really had a bad experience; minus minor service issues at times. The food is good with quality beef and chicken. All of my meals have been super fresh and delicious. My only main complaint is how small their sandwiches are for the price point they charge. I like the beef and chicken Shake Shack uses for their sandwiches. Their buns are always super fresh and delicious. The counter service in the restaurant is generally good and friendly. This location has their own parking lot with indoor and outdoor dining. There are times when this Shake Shack is very busy. read more

Still my favorite Shake Shack! It's all about 'Location, location, location'. =D The great patio outside, all the booth seating inside, the Free Parking lot, the ease of being at the crossroads of La Cienega and Santa Monica Blvd., the fact that it's in the center of the fun part of WeHo...Plus, the stellar kitchen at this location, the freshness of the food, nice packaging and the excellent staff is always on point! Cute too. read more

One of my first Yelp reviews was an effusive five stars for the original Shake Shack in NYC's Madison Square Park (review: https://yelp.to/5XOIl1wEKZ). The burgers were such a grade up from regular fast food back then that I couldn't help myself. That was nearly twenty years, and now everyone knows Shake Shack because their locations multiplied faster than Elon Musk's sperm, which brings me to their popular WeHo location. Jamie W and I come down to WeHo every year because we think, hands down, it's the best PRIDE celebration around. We usually end up gallivanting in the middle of a hopefully closed Santa Monica Blvd. Needless to say, the munchies become inevitable, and dining options are minimal close to the midnight hour. Flashbacks to my memories of Madison Square Park provided just enough of a gravitational pull to suck us in here. Dancing to Kylie Minogue was bound to make us quite peckish, so we ordered a couple of $8.79 Shackburgers with 100% Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, and American cheese (Photo) and shared a $3.09 tray of Crinkle Cut Fries (Photo). Of course they hit the spot because frankly we knew they would. By now, it wasn't about the burger and fries anymore. It was about celebrating the end of PRIDE in appropriately calorific style. FOOD - 4 stars...still good, just not the standout it once was AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...typical Shake Shack set-up, the rainbow touches are nice SERVICE - 3 stars..typically minimal TOTAL - 4 stars...grab a bite for PRIDE RELATED - Exploring WeHo? Restaurant was clean and staff was working hard. I came with a large group and we put in the order through a combo of six smaller orders (about 5 people each). Five of the six orders were perfect. What made it challenging for employees is the lunch rush in person and the to go orders. They powered through and all food was fresh. The variety of food options was able to accommodate all members of my party. I also was able to request my receipts to be emailed. I appreciate the above and beyond response for support to recover these receipts. read more

Just stopped in for a late dinner and it was great. It was about 40 minutes before closing and our food was still fresh and yummy. Get ur act together Shake Shack and fix this--and most importantly do not let it happen again. Before this, you had a good product and caring staff. I esp appreciated that the chicken/meat is organic. BUT: last time I ordered: a food item was missing from my order, a sauce missing from one of the items that came, and the chicken sandwich was overcooked. It took a lot of time, but I reached out to Shake Shack customer service . Rather than post a negative review. "They" (maybe AI) respond with a voucher offer LESS than the cost of the missing item! I won't be patronizing them again. Sad! read more

We ordered takeout tonight from here. Decided to get something different than the usual burger and I was so disappointed. As you can tell from my pictures that I didn't get anything near what was advertised. For the BLT there were a couple bacon crumbs like you find at the bottom of a buffet tray at the end of Sunday brunch. I've had more bacon when I've added to a burger than what was on this sandwich. They should be embarrassed to call this a BLT. There wasn't even a full slice of bacon on this sandwich. looks nothing like the picture on the website. Honestly the entire meal was underwhelming. One small scoop of mac n cheese for that price? And the rib sandwich also looks nothing like it's pictured there was a teaspoon of coleslaw on it and barley any sauce. I was so upset when I got home and looked at the food. Honestly feels slapped together with no quality control. And this isn't the first time I've had issues at this location. During the French onion burger drop - I got takeout. No French onions on the burger and special fries without the seasoning. Lesson learned don't get beyond the basic they can't handle it. read more

First time with a Shake Shack burger. Came in because the Tiki Bar I was at closed their kitchen early. Needed food. Saw they advertised a Truffle Burger. Yes!! Sounded delicious! Ordering is done by a touch screen. The "gratuity" defaults to 10%! Haven't spoke to anyone yet, all digital, but I felt like I had to give something. So I went with 10%. The burger was already $12-something. No drinks. The Tiki bar well-hydrated me. I was asked to choose a number (there were plastic numbers on stands) to place on my table. Yet when my order was ready they called my name at a window. Even though I had the number on my table, I stood up to go to the window. A gentleman met me halfway and passed my burger to me. It was honestly the smallest burger I've ever seen. More like a slider. Certainly not the sizable burger that In-N-Out would deliver . Granted, the truffle burger was very delicious! However, it was seriously overpriced. The 10% gratuity was a waste. No reason to return, unless the tiki bar kitchen next door closes early again. I'm not into drunk driving. read more

I don't like to exaggerate in my reviews, I only speak truth. This location left me breathless. Honestly, I never seen anything like it. The self paying kiosk was mind-blowing. Very clear and self explanatory screen. I had a ten old with me and even he was able to fill in his own order. Love the contactless pay under each screen and the fact that you're asked if your order is to go or for dine in. You can even pick the number you want to identify your table. What a neat experience!!! Just because you use the kiosk doesn't mean you don't have the wonderful experience of customer service. We sat at the table and not only did we receive our orders efficiently but the team members were so accommodating. They were so accommodating that I received what I would call a "Fry Fork". It was sticking inside one of the fries. I thought it was so elegant. I had never seen anything like that before. I went with the chicken shack and fries with no salt. The meal was awesome because normally when I say no salt on the fries, they come out salty anyway from the leftover salt in the deep fryers. Not these. Crispy with no salt as requested. The sandwich I thought would be a bit salty but to my surprise, perfection. The music was awesome. There's plenty of room in the dining area. There's also a dining area outside as well. Very comfortable. This is definitely a beautiful location. Parking o is provided through the parking meters out front. I had a really good experience at this location and I'm going to bring my mom along for hers. She's only familiar with the location in El Segundo. She has to experience this!! read more

Expensive and small portions but sooo good!!!! The employees were welcoming and food tasted good!!!

I will say I appreciate all the free stuff I've gotten from here. They were handing out chocolate frozen custard at the park which was great. At the same park I won a free French fry order. And I also went here to eat with someone who was treating so I got to try their burgers. Specifically the one with bacon and sauce, just to try a bit of everything. It's pretty good I'll say but it is not 13 bucks good at all. The sauce I didn't even notice. Fries are crinkle cut which I am a fan of. But if this weren't comped I do not believe I would come here willingly. My WeHo ripoff principle for star ratings remains. read more

Burgers are tasty! The employees need to be more attentive when customers are at the front. Having an automated ordering system doesn't mean forget customer service. Large indoor & outdoor dining is cool. Having parking is great too in this part of town. They need to add sweet potato fries & onion rings to their menu already it's a burger joint in 2025! Went in for the "Dubai chocolate" smoothie. It's good, but it tastes like cereal. Nothing Dubai Chocolate about it. Whenever I'm in the area for leisure I always end up here for lunch because of the parking lot that they provide lol. Now they have self-service kiosks at the front that you can use to take your time to scroll through the menu and pick out what you want. If you need a little more direction though there is still the front counter where the cashier can answer all your questions. My usual order is just the burger with some Crinkle Cut Fries. For the price, the burgers are pretty small, and you really do need to add the fries to get full. What's cool though is that Shake Shack has seasonal limited items to try out. Our food came out pretty quickly and ordering was very easy. They keep the water cups and ketchup at a counter to the side, but you do have to ask for utensils. If it's not too busy they will bring your food out to you when it's ready, otherwise they will text your number that your order is ready to pick up from the counter. This place is great if you just want something convenient in the area. I know a lot of people don't go to West Hollywood for chain foods but if you don't care about that then this is a solid place to eat at. read more

So, I have a few gripes with this restaurant, one they don't let you customise as preferred, for instance, I would've liked to have added extra cheese to my order and two, they don't season well. Burger patties and fries were not salted. The third gripe was how lightly they sauced the Big Shack. Burger felt dry. Asides from those three issues, food arrived fresh and hot. Price point is very fair, just salt your food. This isn't a retirement home kitchen :') read more

Came here Sunday night for dinner and I love shake shack and was looking forward to this. However my meet was extremely burnt around the edges I tried pulling it all off but then I was left with half a patty pretty much. I asked for lettuce to be added and I'll insert a picture of the withered tiny piece of lettuce I had. I ordered a shoe which I asked for with no whip cream and he gave me one with it so we had to wait an extra 5 minutes after already waiting about 20minutes for our food. Also, one of the guest there had a really big dog inside and it wasn't a service animal they definitely should've asked him to have the dog outside. Sad this is a close location to me because I love shake shack but this trip was definitely disappointing read more

Shake shack is a burger restaurant that smashes their burgers to the grill, drying the patty providing the mouth with a dry sensation which gives off a worsened taste. The service , being that they do not deliver to your table and they get your order radically wrong 1/3 of the time is mid af. And the ambiance is terrible might as well eat anywhere else not the place for a date lol. read more

The burgers are good, but they're really nothing to ride home about for the amount of money that you spent on just a burger whichever burger you choose chicken sandwich or anything else for that matter it's expensive $10 and change just for a burger really. That's not even that big that is just OK in my opinion not horrible but just OK but I have to pay extra for fries and a drink on top of a burger that cost $10 and change instead of offering combos to where you could purchase a burger fries and a soda for one price. Is absolutely ridiculous especially for the size burgers again that they are they're not that huge so I'd much rather spend my money going to In-N-Out all day every day and getting a double double one with fries and a soda for $11 and change thank you very much. I'm entitled to my opinion just like you were entitled to yours and my opinion dance so you may think you are creating high-quality ingredients with your burgers, but I completely disagree with your theory like I said before In-N-Out all day every day read more

Shake Shack is always a delicious source of gooey goodness in my belly. Shakes, burgers, cheese fries, chicken tenders - I'll take one of each! This location is great because --- parking! Always a LA plus. RIght now they have some bomb Holiday shakes. It's never too early, lol! I highly recommend the Chocolate Milk & Cookies Shake. Oh.Em.Gee. My mouth was so satisfied with that I had to stop myself from gobbling up the entire thing in one sitting. Another special thing on the menu currently is the Avocado Bacon Burger. As a day one fan of Hot Ones, I had to drop in to try their meal the moment Sean Evans announced it on the show. Me and my bestie dropped in Wednesday night after finishing up our year end errands. We got different meals I decided to get the burger and she got the the chicken sandwich. I paired mine with the bacon cheese fries and she got the no bacon option. We both got the cookies & cream shake. The ordering process was a breeze. I'm not sure when they transitioned to just the kiosk, but I'm here for it. It eliminates the unnecessary need to talk to anyone. Now where the hiccup happened is getting our order in a timely manner. Our food order was dropped off in a timely manner, but our shake order somehow got lost. The only reason we even got them in the first place is because we were having a spicy meal. My friend got up twice to check on them. She was told they were being made the first time then the second time she was told that the order needed to be confirmed because they thought one was chocolate. Our receipts both clearly said cookies & cream. I had two bites left by the time we got the shake. My friend basically inhaled hers. I'd just like to point out there were so many people and it was chaotic out front. Every time someone came over to our table, they would say "let me know if you need anything" then they would disappear. One girl had a friend visiting her who was dining directly across from the kitchen area. Said worker, a girl with face tattoos, would go to her friend numerous times to get a sip of her drink or chitchat or both. The whole place could hear their conversation. You could also very clearly see when the worker was by her side because she was standing the whole time. It was a little distracting. In conclusion, great Hot Ones meal, but crappy service. read more

Great fast food! The service is great too. They have ample parking and the decor inside is nice too. They have kiosks to order or you can order with an actual person. I have been here to this location a few times and they don't disappoint. They have several options for burgers and everything I have tried has been really good. Their fries are great too. $$ PROS First of all, this reviewed address was actually at Rodeo Drive, corner of Santa Monica Blvd. Near West Hollywood. See photos. This was a small but very comfortable eat-in style restaurant, which we found to really meet our needs while exploring the Rodeo Drive environs. FOOD I must say, we were delighted and very happy with the quality and presentation of the lunch we were offered. We had a combination of hamburgers, french fries, and some assorted lunch menu items and all were prepared really well, not greasy, and overall, we were very pleased with the service and the food at this location. PS: The fries were astoundingly delicious and fresh, completely exceeding our expectations. That's the truth. SERVICE Our order was handled promptly and efficiently by the young man at the counter. He knew exactly how to put the order together, so that it was hot tasty and served to our table. Nothing about the lunch was greasy, it was completely attractive and delicious. AMBIANCE It would be very difficult to find fault with ambience, eating on a nice corner at Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, California. The restaurant had other guests inside, but it was not crowded. Everything was handled really well. I must say for fast food, This one gets a highly recommended five stars. read more

It was my first visit and I got the shack burger and fries. The burger was awesome. It was juicy and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. Shake Shack West Hollywood is definitely a pretty cool spot. However, having been born and raised in Southern California, I have to say that the burgers just do not compare to In-N-Out. I'm sure I'm biased, but that's just my honest opinion. Personal preference aside, anyone who enjoys a good burger should try to make it out here. Shake Shack is a pretty big deal to a lot of people. I mean, it's a Shake Shack so you know generally what you're going to get. I will say that this is not my favorite Shake Shack because I've had issues with order accuracy and temperature. In-person has been so-so. I would say it was busy but not overwhelmingly so but the tables weren't bussed and dining in was not the most pleasant. I decided to order ahead and pick up. My estimate fluctuated and so I ended up scrambling to go pick up. There was a small line at the pick-up window and by the time it was my turn, they checked who I was my food had cooled down. I didn't wait til I got home, my fries were cold and sure enough my burger needed a reheat. With the near ubiquity of Shake Shacks and the plethora of other options for a fast food burger it might be better to go elsewhere. read more

I had shake shack for the first time in NYC in 2012. Before it ever dared show its face on the West Coast, much less, in LA. I wasn't impressed when I had it in NYC. When the first LA shake shack opened up in WeHo in 216 I decided to give it a second try and got explosive diarrhea lol (sorry for the TMI) I had for a third time the following year at the airport because my food options were very limited obviously. Well I guess third times a charm because after that I was hooked. From then on it never disappointed me again. It's always a good idea and always hits the spot. Who can say no to a Martin's potato roll? My go to is the regular shack burger with fries and a 50/50 (Arnold Palmer) the shack stack with the added fried portobello mushroom is great too if you're a bit hungrier. Their grilled cheese is legit and cheese fries are always a good idea. Not a fan of the chicken sandwich really but I'll give it another try one day. They recently expanded their menu a ton. I've yet to try anything new- recommend sticking with the OG classics. read more
