It's fast service, cheap, and absolutely delicious!! Get the fries crispy or even extra crispy.

LA Staples for sure. Never got sick of it. Have always gone for protein style, sub the buns with lettuce. The animal style fries was another highlight, and if you fancied it less soggy, request for well done. It's pretty much freshly-cut fries served with signature I&O sauce and chopped grilled onions. Don't get overwhelmed by the line as it moves in lightning speed. We even found the waiting number doubled by the time we're there. As expected, with the affordable price and delectable taste, the outlet's always busy and packed almost at all times. Nothing fancy about the ambiance, but surely pampering the taste bud.

Literally the type of comfort food you crave all the time... omg. I definitely go out of my way.. a few times... when I'm in town to indulge in this guilty pleasure.

Parking was rough here, as the lot was soooo full. Lots of waiting and not enough tables available. The bathrooms were gross and it wasn't even stocked up either. Service was fine. The customer service wasn't as friendly as you'd expect but the food came out fairly quick. Not a fan of the fries. But I feel this goes for all In N Out places where their fries are not on the crisp side but more of soggy or stale. Anyway, burgers were great, but wish they told my order correctly when I said "no cheese".

In-N-Out is a California staple whenever I come to visit. The food was hot, fresh and made to order. Staff were friendly, and worked really hard to push out the orders. This location appears to be one of the smaller locations I've been to. There are a few tables inside, as well as some outdoor seating. Parking can be tricky as this location sits on a busy road and the parking lot is small. There were three people with me, so 4 of us in total. I ordered a double, w/fries and a drink. They all ordered cheeseburgers, fries and a drink. $40 in total was a steal.

Yes I rec one d because it's in n out but geez be prepared to deal with a lonnng car line a long inside order line BUT bright side the line went by fast. I inside is not super clean but it's to be expected since this location is slammed.

As soon as I landed in LA and checked in my hotel, raced over to In-N-Out to cure my burger fix during Friday around 1pm local time. It was chaotic order in the restaurant. I ordered the Double Double Animal Style with a Cherry Coke and fries - putting the dining plan on hold for the vacay weekend. Delish. Their ingredients are so fresh. I wish you were in the Carolinas!! As a side note, once I got my food I walked around for 10 minutes, given every table was full and half of them occupied by people who were waiting for food (wait times were app 20 mins). Thankfully, an older couple from Delaware noticed me who were also holding a table and said, " young man, you take our table, you have your food." I made a deal to hold the table once finished so they had a place to sit. Worked out perfectly. It's refreshing to see that kindness and courtesy still exist. Thank you mystery couple from Delaware!!

Of course 5 stars, In-N-Out is the best. This location is very busy and probably mostly tourists visiting the Hollywood area. Parking lot is always packed, inside is packed, outside is packed. These sound like they could be negatives, but it is a vibe, just enjoy some great food and take it all in. After all we have some of the best weather here in So Cal. No matter what you get, you can't go wrong with the taste, quality and consistency of the burgers, fries and drinks. In-N-out is a Southern California original and institution to be enjoyed anytime, anywhere and always. Enjoy!

Grilled Cheese and Animal style fries

Being from Michigan, I had to experience my very first In-N-Out trip- and at the Hollywood location visited by many after the Oscars mind you. It was super busy and chaotic inside but the service has the process down pat, so food came out quick. I don't eat meat but you can order the burger as a grilled cheese and it is surprisingly yummy and filling- all the fixings. Got the animal style fries which weren't my favorite- didn't care for the hardened cheese. The ice for the Coke was amazing though- they have the pearled ice which makes for great crunching.

A perfect evening.

I miss this place already!! Missed it before I even left L.A.! Celebrated my b'day weekend in Hollywood and trying this place high on my list of things to do while out there. We're deprived of In n' Out in NY (we're blessed with Shake Shack, tho). Went to In n' Out after a day of running around L.A. Ya know, tours n' stuff. I was saving my appetite for this meal and was good n' hOngry by the time we arrived here in the evening. Wasn't sure what my first In n' Out meal should be. I went to Reddit and got some opinions. A few folks said to start simple. Get a cheeseburger n' go from there. By the time I got there, my appetite said, NO! We're goin' in and we're goin' hard cos we ain't no punk! I got a double-double animal style and animal style fries. Humph! Ten outta ten. Nah, we're gonna give it a Spinal Tap ELEVEN, cos it was GOOD! Filling and delicious! The service was friendly. The crowds kept comin' and the staff had the patience of Job. They must get a lot of first timers like me. They hit me off with some extra spread packets (yum). Those meat patties were fresh and tasty, the toasted bread was a nice touch. It had a nice little crunch 'round the edges. I was feelin' that crunch. Veggies were very fresh and onions cooked to perfection. The fries, sans animal style dressing, were okay. But with all that animal style stuff, veryyyyyyyy niiiiiiiiice!! I've eaten cheese fries and fries with both bacon and cheese, but fries with onions, spread and cheese, that was a first for me. Absolute YUM! Following night, I returned n' got the double-double (sans animal styling) and their pink lemonade (regular, not lite). Same as the first night. Satisfying, filling, delicious...! Prices are wallet-friendly. I'm a fan. I gotta try one of their shakes next time. Shout out to the staff and the security guard whose name tag read Garcia. I didn't wanna stare but I think homeboy has two different color eyeballs. He was scoping the place like a Terminator. He probably is one. That might explain the eyes. OH! And, it was a trip to see the cars lined up around the dang block waiting to get to the drive up window! I said, AROUND the BLOCK!! The traffic in-store was nothing to sneeze at either. Go 'head, In n' Out! Do ya thing! Continued success, and I'll catch ya on the rebound!

It was good for what it was. I think that this is a staple of LA, and if you are in the area it kind of is a must. They are a very well oiled machine with their service line. You do wait a while but it is fast for the volume of guest that they have. Parking can be really difficult, and honestly so can sitting lol but the food was what you expect a fast food Burger, better fries and the burger if you ask me. And the milkshakes are really delicious. I would recommend it!

Animal Style
Lux P.

I was quite disappointed with my experience at In-N-Out! The food was not the best and I came in with such high expectations being my first time in LA! Got the Animal style fried which severely lacked in terms of flavour with the cheese tasting quite bland. And the double double was definitely not the best burger I have ever had. 6/10 recommend!

Protein Style

A California staple! This location is always crowded but the service is on point :) Super fast always! The ambiance is similar what you would expect from a fast food joint :) I always get the protein style double with fries!

I typically order my food for pickup and walk over as soon as I receive the text message confirmation. My order consisted of 1 steakhouse slim thicc, 1 large regular fries, 1 can of coke which came up to $21.95, which I feel is slight pricey, but I'm willing to pay for the great quality of meat used in the burger. But for the first time patronizing this establishment I notice an automatic tip was applied to my bill in the amount of $4.00 bringing my total to $25.95.for a single patty burger, plain shoestring fries and a can of coke, which might I add, the fries were cold, and this was not due to the time I picked them up. They typically give you a 25-30 min pick up time after the order is placed. I arrived 15 minutes early and received a text shortly after stating my order was ready. I proceed to pick up the order and return back to my office in about 5-6 minutes before eating. Within this time frame my fries were already cold. Again, the burger is of very good quality meat. But placing an automatic tip of $4 on an already expensive burger that I have to go pick up myself seems unreasonable.

May 2026 - 2nd Visit…read more A girl broke things off with me today, and yet somehow eating here was the lowest point of my day. I don't understand how this place has won awards. I ordered a double hamburger and sweet potatoes fries bc I knew better than to order the sprouts after last time. And I have to say, the burger outdid itself after last time -- I've easily had dozens of better burgers in backyards. This burger had NO flavor. None. Halfway through eating it I realized they didn't put any effing pickles or sauce on it. WHAT?! How did you forget this?! But still, even without those, are you guys not smashing any season into your burger? I feel like I've discovered a conspiracy on par with the Da Vinci Code, which if I'm honest I'm not sure if that's a proper conspiracy analogy bc I never saw or read da Vinci code. Sucking a ketchup packet would've resulted in a more flavorful dinner. Licking a Hollywood blvd sidewalk for 3 seconds would give you a better sodium intake. But I digress. For health and digestive reasons (bc my digestive system is not really functional) I snuck in a radish to eat post burger. I am not kidding when I say the grocery store GMO Monsanto radish had more flavor than the burger. The sweet potato fries were the "highlight" of the meal and tasted as good as anything you'll get in a grocery store frozen aisle. There's no reason to ever go back.

It's pricy, but the food has been consistently delicious with each visit. I miss their onion aioli sauce! I remember it being really popular around the first time I tried Monty's. My go to order as of late is a burger with a single patty (double if I'm extra hungry), their tots w/honey mustard or the house sauce, and the Travis Oat Matcha Shake. By no means authentic matcha, but it's a super thick shake that compliments this franchise's flavor profile. Where I find myself awestruck is how tasty a plant-based burger could be. Just about as savory, but equally filling and satisfying! The staff in both the Culver and Echo Park locations are wonderful. In my experience, the employees are patient with new patrons and really great with asking follow up questions to get a feel of what you're looking to try. Interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of a classic burger shop. Not too big, cozy, but with a pop of color on the walls with a good amount of artwork around. Next time I'm in the area having a bad day, I'll stop by for tots & a shake to brighten my mood.

As a result, the only way to address the issue would be to go to the location in person, which defeats the purpose of paying extra for delivery. They also close in 5 minutes and won't be open again until 5pm on Wednesday (3 days from now). The items that arrived were correctly prepared, but the missing burger and the lack of support options created a significant inconvenience.
