In-N-Out is always a classic, but the Hollywood location is hands down my favorite. I have been to plenty of In-N-Out spots and for some reason this one just tastes better every single time, even though technically it is the same menu. The burgers here are always so fresh, hot, and satisfying. One thing people should know is that there are off-menu customizations, and that is the best way to order if you already know what you like. I never do the regular double because it is just not enough for me. I usually order two 3x3 burgers. One I get with no onion, and the second I do even simpler with no onion, no lettuce, and no tomato, so it is basically just the bun, cheese, and three patties. I always ask for extra spread too because that is a must. Usually I get two spreads per burger and one extra for the fries, so my full meal comes with five spreads and I use every single one. What also makes this location stand out is how well they handle the crowds. It is always busy, but they have so many employees working that the line keeps moving fast and the whole place stays organized. Even when it looks packed, service is efficient and seating usually works out fine if you just pay attention and grab a table as people leave. For such a high-volume location, they do a really good job keeping things moving. Love In-N-Out, always will, and this Hollywood location is the one I keep coming back to. Easy 5 stars. read more

LA Staples for sure. Never got sick of it. Have always gone for protein style, sub the buns with lettuce. The animal style fries was another highlight, and if you fancied it less soggy, request for well done. It's pretty much freshly-cut fries served with signature I&O sauce and chopped grilled onions. Parking was rough here, as the lot was soooo full. Lots of waiting and not enough tables available. The bathrooms were gross and it wasn't even stocked up either. Service was fine. As soon as I landed in LA and checked in my hotel, raced over to In-N-Out to cure my burger fix during Friday around 1pm local time. It was chaotic order in the restaurant. I ordered the Double Double Animal Style with a Cherry Coke and fries - putting the dining plan on hold for the vacay weekend. Delish. Their ingredients are so fresh. I wish you were in the Carolinas!! As a side note, once I got my food I walked around for 10 minutes, given every table was full and half of them occupied by people who were waiting for food (wait times were app 20 mins). Thankfully, an older couple from Delaware noticed me who were also holding a table and said, " young man, you take our table, you have your food." This is single-handedly the worst In-N-Out experience I've ever had in my whole entire life. The line was nonexistent me and my girlfriend decided to go to the front of the line and we got executed by multiple workers. Also a fellow line member who decided to knock on our window and tell us that we "cut the line"such unprofessionalism from the In-N-Out staff they really need to do better stuff like this loses character and also loses customer value being a part of this experience made truly devalue the whole in and out experience directly went to McDonald's after... Of course 5 stars, In-N-Out is the best. This location is very busy and probably mostly tourists visiting the Hollywood area. Parking lot is always packed, inside is packed, outside is packed. These sound like they could be negatives, but it is a vibe, just enjoy some great food and take it all in. After all we have some of the best weather here in So Cal. No matter what you get, you can't go wrong with the taste, quality and consistency of the burgers, fries and drinks. Being from Michigan, I had to experience my very first In-N-Out trip- and at the Hollywood location visited by many after the Oscars mind you. It was super busy and chaotic inside but the service has the process down pat, so food came out quick. I don't eat meat but you can order the burger as a grilled cheese and it is surprisingly yummy and filling- all the fixings. Got the animal style fries which weren't my favorite- didn't care for the hardened cheese. We were staying at the Roosevelt Hotel nearby. On the way in we spotted an In-N-Out at the bottom of the hill, just a short walk away. We were weary from San Diego to L.A. traffic. My coworker (I wasn't there, I was at our workplace, and he doesn't have a yelp account, but since we went Dutch/were gonna split the cost/I gave him the money to go to the in n out to get us food. We paid in cash. I feel it's okay for me to post this review on his behalf), went to this in n out today around noon/lunch time, to get us food for our lunch break. He ordered us both a double double, and an order of fries. He was texting me what happened at first (We work down the corner at the buzzfeed building) saying he lost the order receipt, and didn't remember what the order number was. I told him just go up to the counter and say what the order was, and it's fine. He spoke with the manager and from what he told me she was extremely rude/extra/fake, basically accusing him of lying (in the time she was asking for a receipt he clearly said he didn't have anymore/someone stole, they could have just remade the two burgers and fries) and she handed him an empty in n out bag, and said call the customer service number. He got back to our office, and he is Autistic so it's hard for him to relay and explain things, but he told me everything that happened, as prior we were just communicating through texts. So we're supposed to starve, not get our food, and possibly wait several weeks to maybe get compensated by In N Out by them giving us gift certificates or whatever. That's not the point. REMAKE THE FOOD. This is like twilight zone level stuff, and my coworker he's a Black gay man, I'm a Black Bisexual woman, and I always felt some type of racial bias to this location. I swear I have waited longer for coffee than I ever have at In N Out. They know what they are doing and they do not waste time. The food is consistently good. Not trendy good. Not trying too hard good. Just classic, satisfying good. The burger tastes like an actual burger. The lettuce is crisp, the tomato does not feel sad or soggy, and the bun is soft without falling apart. The fries get a lot of debate, but fresh is fresh. You can taste that they came from real potatoes and not a freezer somewhere far away. The place itself is always clean. Floors, tables, counters, everything. Even when it is packed, it never feels gross or chaotic. The staff is moving fast but still friendly, which is honestly impressive considering how busy it gets. You can tell there is a system and everyone sticks to it. Parking is another underrated win. Most locations actually have enough parking, which feels like a small miracle these days. I love this In-N-Out location! If you dispute that In-N-Out is the best cheap meal in LA, you ain't with ti. Their double double is magical and under $5. That blows my mind and it's so darn tasty! And $3 shakes!? Ummm, WHAT. In-N-Out will always have a line down the block, and at this location it often wraps around the block. It moves quickly though because the staff is quick and efficient. I've been here many times but on my last visit, the person taking the order was particulaly friendly and awesome. In general, staff is always more friendly here than at other fast food places. Also, they really are very careful with orders - I've never had an incorrect order. A true feat for a fast food spot. Came here on a Wednesday night after visiting Griffith Observatory. It was crowded but we managed to get a seat. This is my 3rd time having In-N-Out. My first time was in San Diego and second time was in Las Vegas. Since I'm from the East Coast, I always thought In-N-Out was overhyped but for some reason, this time tasted really good. Perhaps I was really hungry, but the sauce was so creamy and the meat was juicy. Two of us got the Double Double and the other two got cheeseburgers. This place isn't in my homestate yet, so it's a place for fast food to go to. There's so many different ways to order your meals. I personally order the double double protein style. And I ask for the patty to be mustard fried with grilled onions. And I ask for no salt on the patty. Coz you know how some people are with that salt shaker. Lol. But I ask for the spread on the side or else it's gonna get way too messy. I enjoy my fries well done with cheese. I used to order animal style everything, but that got old quick. Haha. And if I want to treat myself, I get a neopoltian shake. But this location's parking is so awkward and small. So be mindful of that when coming here. But know there is parking against on the west side of the building. Aka the other side of the drive thru lane. So try there first. This spot only has a few places to eat outside.
